1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin media fund - CALL TO ARMS! on: July 23, 2014, 05:58:23 PM

2  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Browser You Use on: May 11, 2014, 05:08:29 PM
As I use Mac - Safari is default one and I like it, as it's fast and works perfectly, don't see any point to use another one, but when I want to post some comments on Facebook or twitter from company profile I use chrome, as don't want to log out from my own accounts.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Zero Fee 0% Bitcoin Exchange on: May 11, 2014, 05:04:20 PM
First we need an Exchange with Zero Fees. Crypto exchanges are sprouting up like weeds and they're all the same. Poor API , poor desktop and mobile trading apps. exchange holds coins, and 0.2% fees.

If we have an exchange with zero fees it would add liquidity ( by providing an incentive to buy/sell on exchange) and offer better trading conditions for all traders ( more liquidity means more buyers and sellers are waiting to trade at their prices which decreases the spread between the Bid/Ask ).

Any Exchange with Zero fees?
If no, lets build one.

What's the point of making exchange with zero fee? It's non-profitable. Sorry, for comparison, but it's like letting other people to your toilet in your own office.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: you get Richer as the Older You’ll Get on: May 11, 2014, 05:01:31 PM
It should be easier to get rich when you are young and poor because you are smarter, healthier, stronger, you are ready to work harder for less money and you are more likely to innovate but rules, laws and the state protect those you have at the detriment of those you haven't so the rich get richer and the poor have a harder time to become rich than they would have in a free society
Totally agree, but can't accept that young ones are smarter, than old ones, cause there are a lot of things in this world to learn about.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Incoming stock crash? on: May 11, 2014, 04:56:14 PM
I don't see any point with checking current figures with old ones, history never repeats itself. Even people study history to "avoid previous mistakes", but, agree, after WWI happened WWII. I like Nassim Taleb philosophy.
6  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Would it still be profitable if bitcoin goes down to $1 a bitcoin? on: May 11, 2014, 04:50:02 PM
Would it still be profitable if bitcoin goes down to $1 a bitcoin?
Definitely no. As there would be no point in mining. You would pay more for electricity to keep your computers working. There's no profit in such approach. Then, what would be the difference between USD and BTC?
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lets crowd fund a lobbyist on: May 11, 2014, 04:46:30 PM
I think this is a good idea. You need to have the government working with you. Lobbyists have done tons for smoking. Maybe a bad comparison but if you have the government working with you there is much more potential for growth.

Completely agree. Everything comes from government, or almost everything. And it's not just politics, it includes advertisement, which can make bitcoin popular. The more people hear about bitcoin the more they will be interested in it.
8  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favorite car????? on: May 09, 2014, 11:59:52 AM
As long as I own Toyota I love it. Speaking realistic I would like to buy Lexus LS460 or BMW 7 or Maserati. Or if i suddenly will have a chance to spend 350k I would by a Lamborghini Aventador.
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help for a new Miner (me) on: May 09, 2014, 11:53:19 AM
For smooth mining on GPU you will need probably about 50 times your graphics card..You can mine alt coins using your CPU, like FantomCoin, which, by the way supports merged mining (you can mine two currencies at time). But do not expect great results.
10  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine... Revolution. on: May 09, 2014, 11:48:31 AM
Oh my gosh!  Shocked I’ve got some friends in Ukraine and Venezuella.. By the things they speak about I believe that they both have the same problems for different reasons. I wish it would just end as soon as it is possible.. Sad
11  Economy / Economics / Re: The solution is obvious on: May 09, 2014, 11:44:41 AM
I don't think the reason is just in amount of it. The problem is not as obvious as it may seem. The main point is to show the full potential of bitcoin. There are a lot of pros in using cryptocurrency, such as nobody knows on what stuff you spend your money, another great bonus is that you can earn this money doing anything, just let you pc stay turned on all night. Of course I colored the truth, but people need this.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can I do mining with a normal PC? on: May 09, 2014, 11:39:06 AM
As it already had been said you can mine, but do not expect great earning. You can choose which power to use CPU or GPU, I suggest to use CPU, but better perform an upgrade to i7 and then try. You also can try merged mining.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin Ideal money? on: May 09, 2014, 11:33:34 AM
Speaking philosophically ideal depends on each persons views. So each person sees its own ideal money. To me ideal money is something that can't get lost or stolen, i should know which amount of it I have right now. And speaking it terms of economics this money should not devaluate.
14  Bitcoin / Mining support / how to calculate the hash rate? on: May 05, 2014, 08:32:12 AM
I am new here and wonder how to calculate the hash rate?
I have found the formula but it's rather diff to understand without example.
Please, could anyone write exactly  how to calculate it with an example.
Thanks in advance
15  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Which bitcoin wallet is the best? on: May 05, 2014, 08:25:27 AM
IMO the best is Armory .
I used to work with Multibit but cause I couldn't sign transactions on my offline computer I suggested to use Armory, that was the main reason
16  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: iOS: bring nativ wallet app to non-jailbreak iPhones (and iPads)? on: April 30, 2014, 06:59:42 PM
That's exactly what I was looking for.
Easy in use service for small buy\sell transactions .
btw, has anyone already tried it?
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: First Timer on: April 30, 2014, 06:53:31 PM
If you are interested in investment buy bitcoins at low price and sell at high price.

Holy crap, is that how you make money!?!?!?!?!?

Lol
IMO, you can buy some coins and wait for higher price  or you can mine altcoins with a good perspective and than change it to BTC
