1  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Exchanging for $300 in Bitcoin [Escrow/Western Union/MoneyGram/W2W/Bank Deposit) on: January 17, 2016, 10:30:34 PM
Looking to purchase $300 of Bitcoin at Bitstamp spot +5%. Only payment methods I will be using are Western Union, MoneyGram, Walmart 2 Walmart money transfer, or direct bank deposit (Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Washington Trust, JP Morgan, Banner Bank, USAA Bank). All fees will be split 50/50 (I recommend MoneyGram or W2W because the fees are cheap) I will be using a free trusted escrow service and I will not send money first unless you are a very reputable member. Please post here or message me for further information. Thank you.

Scammers do not even bother, I can spot you a mile away!

PS: I do not know any current reputable escrow agents, any recommendations would be appreciated.

ognasty is a good escrow

Thank you. Still looking.

3  Other / Off-topic / Whoever Can Solve This Problem Is a Genius on: November 09, 2015, 05:38:13 AM
There are 12 people going on a road trip in three cars. To make it fun, they will rotate between the three vehicles every time they stop. Only five people feel comfortable driving, so how many ways can I arrange the drivers and passengers among the three cars assuming order doesn't matter?

The problem is dealing with combinations (not permutations). This problem is very hard!

7  Economy / Currency exchange / Buying $150 in Bitcoin [Paypal/MoneyGram/Bank Transfer] on: October 24, 2015, 05:06:09 PM
Buying $150.00 in Bitcoin at Bitstamp's current rate. Paying with Paypal, MoneyGram, or bank transfer if you have a Wells Fargo account. Escrow will be used for people with minimal reputation. I will pay the transaction fees for all payment methods. If you have another payment method you want, but that is not listed, give me a PM and I will consider it. Thanks.
8  Economy / Services / Re: Need Help With Excel (Paying Tips) on: October 24, 2015, 12:38:28 AM
Figured it out. Had to type the Interest formula manually instead of referencing another cell.

Did you forget to use "$" to make the reference cell absolute?  I.E.  $A$1 instead of A1

That way the same cell will always be used.

Yeah I used that symbol to freeze the values that were going to stay the same, but I must have forgot to freeze the cell I was referencing. I think it just wasn't in the right format.

Hi, I am having trouble figuring out how to use excel to calculate equations for loans, credit cards, and interest. If anyone can help me with this it'd be greatly appreciated and I will tip you. I am making tables and using the equations for the first couple periods and then dragging it down to fill the rest of the chart.
11  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [$70,000 ] BTC-E Refusing to Change My Old Email on My Account With 300 BTC on: October 13, 2015, 05:46:14 AM
If they don't give you your money back go find a lawyer to take your case. You could easily sue (assuming your story is all valid) and get your money back, lawyers fees, and punitive/compensatory damages as well. It's definitely worth looking into.

Please do not post "negative" comments, like...."Tell him to get a real job...etc. etc" {Believe me, we tried}

Sorry, but to be honest, these kind of "negative" comments are the most realistic suggestion.
Your son really need to understand that he can't be relying on his parents forever...

Yeah this is true. Like I said post an ad on craigslist saying you're hardworking and have been job hunting but all applications are online so it's not really up to skill level just past job experience, education, etc. I posted an ad and got 4-5 legitimate responses within one day.

If you can't find some way to make a living he's going to be eventually homeless. Or you being in debt from paying all his bills. There's a lot of resources out there for finding work and making money you just have to find and use them. Tell him to work on building some stuff or refurbishing furniture and re-selling it, you can make some good money from that. Buy an old wooden entertainment center for $50, refurbish it, and sell it for $200+.

His son is in a wheelchair and they are in Africa. I doubt Craigslist even exist in many of the African countries and even if something similar existed it isn't that effective like you think.

Under those circumstances I would just say save up enough money to fly to America, we will help you out if you can't work. If you guys live in Africa I'm sure there's a lot of stuff that's native to your territory. Go out and get it or buy it and re-sell it online for profit. You can sell it anywhere, Bitcointalk, eBay, any site that has a marketplace.

19  Economy / Currency exchange / Out of Stock on: May 10, 2014, 10:47:51 AM
I have quite a bit of BTC and am looking to get rid of some. Escrow is accepted. Taking Western Union only. Taking exchanges at Bitstamp spot +5% (split fee's for WU money order) PM me or post here if you have any questions. Thank you.

Note: I will not send you the BTC first. Escrow must be used or you can send the money order to me first, then I will send the BTC to the address provided. I don't know any good Escrow agents on here so if anyone could refer some I would appreciate it. Thank you.

PM a mod or admin to get it figured out. Posting threads is a waste of time as most of the staff/admins probably don't read them.
