1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1,000,000 bits = 1 bitcoin. Future-proofing Bitcoin for common usage? VOTE on: May 03, 2014, 03:45:23 AM
The milli- micro- prefixes are nice and proper and all, but they wont work for the layman, which a unit of currency needs to be.  I can completely understand the prefixes, and even I fear a world where I'd have to say "microbitcoins" regularly.

The only other feasible option I've seen outside of "bit" was "moto".

It has a good, concise ring to it and comes from -Nakamoto-

2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1 Dogecoin= 1 Doge 1 Goldcoin= 1 Gold 1 Bitcoin= 1 Bit, How could that be wrong? on: May 03, 2014, 03:19:00 AM
your premise assumes that dogecoin and goldcoin are correct and represent standards that should be followed.

They're just alt digital currencies.  One being a huge joke.  I don't see why bitcoin must follow their lead.
