I think this is the first I've seen such sustained and healthy growth for ISR on bittrex!

What price fluctuation are you talking about man?
Both BTC and ISR are falling rapidly atm. I believe it's temporary. The militia activity in the territories and Ukraine and Iraq and americas probably makes ppl trust the government more at the moment (believing it can protect them? mistakenly?)

Once the dust settles and we'll be left with a hefty economic bill to pay for IDF's actions (and ukraine's government, etc) (guess who's going to pay it, the rich?) ppl will come ba-a-a-ack. Wink

It's funny how the average number of morons haven't changed at all since the thread's inception. Only their moronic message changed Smiley

So, what about self moderated thread?

Or is the forum's management really that incompetent?

As someone who's helping a bit on the design and marketing process at the moment, I can confidently say that there's A LOT happening at the moment. Most of what I see is happening in Israel.

Isracoin have managed to acquire a great range of powerful allies all throughout the community.

On a personal level I've seen work at conferences, creation of new cooperatives related to the coin, lots of activity on the Hebrew facebook group, thousands of people signing up and receiving their Airdrop coins, and the spread of paper marketing techniques.

I'm guessing most of you are here just to make a return of investment. For you, just be patient and don't worry - you'll get your return with time, and even more than that!

If there are any internationals interested in the activist and social side of the coin, let me know and if there're enough ppl interested I'll do my best to keep you all in the loop.

Just reminding to the intelligent people that there's no need need to feed the loser trolls. I figure the best thing is just to provide factual information for normal people like you or me who might be interested in information but other than that we ALL know that they are just loser trolls who just vent their anger at their own bad upbringing to anyone who'll listen.

IsraCoin?

Wouldn't ZionCoin sound a lot better.
For general information: "Zion" and "Israel" are pretty much interchangeable in modern usage.

What? It's not on bittrex?? Since when? Why?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ISR] Isracoin - The Israeli cryptocurrency on: June 15, 2014, 11:51:13 AM
...also, I'd very much like to buy an ATM like that of my own (and put it in Haifa, for example). Once you upgrade it for airdrop and stuff, will you release the technology so we can buy one too?

Keep in mind that it takes time to establish solid foundations.

I already sent a pm on the Israeli forum but just in case I'll mention it here: feel free to contact me if you're short on staff! Everything from programming to spreading fliers face to face

The way I see it, the smart argument is not even between the main developer is a scammer or not. It's obvious he's not: no scammer will ever put so much time and effort to develop all the software and technology behind a scam. If I was a scammer I'd just quickly give coins away, quickly hype up the unaware public and sell million as soon as the first spike starts building up. Done. I'm rich. See ya all later.

The (non-trolling, smart) argument is whether the dev has a POTENTIAL to scam through the current, temporary, centralisation. Yes he does. In that way you could say he's like a bank CEO, granted. At the moment: he did express desire to decentralise and, to be honest, I'd rather trust an engineer and a fellow nerd who knows what it's like to work for everyone's benefit rather than a spoiled bank CEO whose only job is to keep rich people rich.

OK, maybe Israbit is not a scam in the acceptable meaning of that word.

Anyone interested in what's happening behind the scenes here should google translate this article: http://www.themarker.com/wallstreet/1.2341445

I'll give a jist:

Dan is a great experienced Israeli engineer living in NY (according from Dan's facebook account and just the amount of work her put into Isracoin). Dan starts working on the infrastucture for Isracoin (Israeli first cryptocoin). Amnon joins Dan from Israel to help him. Amnon represents a very powerful semi-anarchistic and socialist political movement called Zedek Chevrati.

Amnon asks Dan to give him and his friend full access to premined millions of coins. Dan refuses I'm guessing because of lack of trust. Amnon gets angry, starts spreading rumours about Dan (if not Amnon, then who?) and without actually waiting to see if Dan is indeed a scammer, or not, decides to create his own Israeli cryptocoin called Israbit which can be done HIS way.

To anyone non-Israeli amused by this turn of events, let me tell you that this is actually standard behavior I've been seeing for many years between supposed intellectual adults.

Personally I'm behind the person who didn't start badmouthing and spreading rumours about the other person when he didn't get what he wanted...

Personally I'm much more the sit-respectfully-and-do-your-job kind of guy.

I told you my agenda
1. this shity coin gives a bad name to Israel and it have no connection to Israel anymore, and since I'm Israeli its important for me that everybody will know it.
a true altruist who cares for me without profit will not use such dirty language on ANYONE! you know what, you're full of your own crap and now I know why:

Quote
4. And I have something good for you not just bad news Smiley
there is a group that is working on a real Isaeli coin and they said it will
be possible to excange Isracoin for this coin that will be call IsraBit when it will be released.
YOUR coin is a scam! it's so obvious it hurts! even how you claim you, without any reward, will replace my isracoin with your scam-coin Smiley Look, kiddo, here's a bit of very important advice I learned through the years, if you truly believe in something and honestly want to help others selflessly, you will never use bad language. why? because you wont need to. the actions and facts will speak for themselves

Yes , using facebook is a very sad choice if it's the only choice.
no it's not. the site says there'll be more options available. I vote for sending a photo of face next to the ID. A bit rough but simple and a great alternative to Facebook or LinkedIn.

I also vote for completely deleting all data other than an ID hash after the month passes and all ISR have been sent to that person. SECURITY IS VERY IMPORTANT!!
