I did basically the same calculations back on the 7th. I ended up sacrificing a few days age back to the 29th of December to re-combine about half of my balance into blocks of 8000 or a little more. I started this progression with my blocks that were just about to start gaining weight. In appox. 3 days the larger blocks will start gaining weight. It will be interesting to see how this progresses. My blocks that had started gaining weight on the 29th I left intact. To date I still have over 30 blocks of coins in the 3000 to 3500 coin size that have been gaining weight that date from 12/13 to 12/29 and on average 3 to 4 a day are staking.

im running 10 to 15 k block size now
Have any started gaining weight and if so how quickly on average are they staking?

Well I don't sell any. I'm probably going to point my little th miner @ the multipool to give a little support and increase my coin count.
HYP is extremely undervalued right now, I continue to stake, mine for BTC and buy daily. I have managed to cost average down significantly and go from 80k HYP to closing in on 400K in a few short weeks. Hope the price stays low until I reach my initial goal:) HYP is really in it's infancy. With the great community and continued development expect it to go far!

WOW! Just checked the latest HYP difficulty and it's over 10. Its not that long ago i was mining POW coins at that kind of difficulty!
How far POS has come in such a short time thanks to developers like Presstab.
HYP is going from strength to strength, it's amazing more people aren't noticing this little beauty! :-)
Be glad not to many have noticed. To much demand will create volatility in the market opening the door for the short term traders to make the market even more volatile. Slow steady growth creates stability.

wow...POS difficulty over 9
{ "proof-of-work" : 15.58275963, "proof-of-stake" : 9.08574752, "search-interval" : 1 }
some serious staking!
Difficulty fluctuates greatly. Yesterday I saw it as low as 1.9. I believe key is to have as many of blocks as possible that are eligible to stake gaining weight on a daily basis. This way you always have blocks that stake on a daily basis. I currently have on average 14 to 18 blocks gaining weight daily and 6 to 8 that stake daily.

Follow suit in dumping? Just the opposite would be more appropriate. It is time to buy to cost average down, hold and stake. The price will go back up and when it does those who were patient will reap the rewards.

Hi All,
Cheap HYP on Polo right now. Great time to buy. Someone is dumping. Get in and buy them up.
Easy rto cost average down right now, hold and stake!

Right now, a lot of altcoins are getting largely dumped by people that want to leverage the BTC rally and get some FIAT. Some of these will come back after a BTC dip to earn more profits, some will not. It is clear that large holders (at least most of them as I had a look at the rich list) have not sold any of their HYP. I picked up a lot more HYP over the past few days. As much as I could afford. Anyone can see this as my addy moved up quite a bit in the HYP rankings. We should really not focus too much on the exchange value at a given point in time, as much as we should focus on increasing awareness, spreading HYP around and reaching a wider audience. The low valuation right now, is in fact a great opportunity for more people to join in (or like me, increase their holdings). Please do not consider this as investment advise of any sort. I will be part of this community even if I'm buried deep into a negative conversion to BTC/FIAT. I see HYP as the most friendly community of competing stakers, and I'm not giving up my staking power! Happy Staking! +1000 With the fantastic community, awesome active devs and current value of HYP, It is the perfect time for newcomers to buy HYP and stake, or if you hold HYP to buy more and cost average down and stake!

Gotta love a mine-able PoS coin I only have 1TH but it's all pointed at the pool. Here is an interesting perspective. For all of those mining on the multipool. I am now mining on the multipool and have been for a couple of days. I personally am mining SHA256 and primarily BTC in the past and bought HYP with my earnings. When HYP was at 5k+ I was selling more of my stake(never my principal BTC investment in HYP). At that point I had not reached my original goal for 100K HYP to stake. During that time I did not increase my principal BTC investment in HYP. It set me back a few days on reaching my 100K goal. However, I did take more stake profits at the time. I have since reached that goal and have a new strategy in place that I believe will help the HYP economy remain stable and at the same time increase my principal investement of BTC to HYP even if HYP is high. If it is high my short term bottom line may decrease because I am obtaining HYP from mining in the multipool at a higher price, but the amount of HYP to stake increases daily(principal BTC investment) no matter what with out human emotion getting involved. I am also able to add additional coins from mining daily to my blocks as I combine them when they stake to make bigger blocks to stake the next time. Combine that with compounding a portion of the stake and taking profits with a portion equates to helping maintain a healthy HYP economy.

I'm not sure why someone would want to mergemine a PoS coin.
it be innovative, and definitely neat. Also both coins would benefit as stakers would help secure both networks and be rewarded for it. As long as we are the coin to merge mine with and not the coin merge mining with another one, why not. ANycoins we should talk to? I think we could start with TRK (as that's where we came from), then maybe TEK, HBN, and Caps. What do you guys think? Anyone that could reach out to these coins? The problem with merge minting is that those other coins have little reason to be merge minted. They are nowhere near the point where demand for stake blocks would be better met by combining minting "hash" power. The reason multipool minting works for HYP is the very conservative 1k HYP stake block max reward. Since some people are already using 4k HYP blocks to stake quicker, and in some cases "giving up" stake since they have age/rewards beyond the block max, HYP *could* get to the point where you need 5k, 10k, or even 15k HYP, if the difficulty is raised high enough, to efficiently hit the 1k HYP reward. It's all very clever Crazyloaf..what do YOU know about POS coins..j/k man. Good to see you!! What do you think of Balls? Anyway I think this could work.. what about an exclusive merge mine pool with all high POS coins, and a MUCH higher fee that splits between the devs.. say 5%. The hashpower would be the highest EVER. Hell, add balls in the mix, and raise it to 7% pool fees. BALLS are going to be broken, literally. I can tell right now that it's going to split to an insane amount of blocks if you just leave it running, and there is no coin control to undo that. If you look at the comments on the thread (it will inflate to 50M BALLS), I'd honestly be worried to play with them beyond a pure hobby. Not being aware of compound interest is scary imo It's a pure play to take some HYP thunder, but luckily, they don't know what they are doing over there Also, I say it's time to focus efforts on a single high PoS coin, that being HYP. This is the first chance we have for something beyond a hobby coin. I am doing this in my own portfolio. Like I said before, HYP or Bust.careful there. The old saying about eggs in one basket is very true. This is still a very young coin. I'm trying to focus on about three major ones and a few others for the sake of doing it. Those three, in order of holdings atm, are HYP, TEK, and HBN. There are many I like, and I would actually like to become a developer, but my coding skills are not anywhere near that level yet. I also hold HBN, TEK and HYP. I agree completely about eggs in one basket. I love the fact that some of the eggs in all three baskets keep hatching daily!!!

HYP MULTIPOOL IS LIVE
http://thepool.pw/HYP/Please referer to this how to http://thepool.pw/HYP/?f=howto for more details on how to set up the miners, the multipool does not require registration, the miners must use their HYP address as worker name to receive payment. Great! Just added the little hash power that I have, 1.35TH to the multi-pool. I figure that the little bit BTC that I was making will go a lot further by the automated buy orders it will help create on the exchange. Everyone that owns HYP and has some type of mining rig, keep in mind, not only are you building your HYP holdings with out having to manually trade to get the HYP, you are also helping to maintain a more stable HYP market on the exchange. This helps you become more profitable with HYP.

I will contact the operator now. And fire up my bitcoin-qt.exe to grab a fresh address. Also, I would hope that people will throw hash at it once up Don't have much hash power. I will point my 7 S1 ant miners at it. Only amounts to 1.35tH.

Hi David, Presstab and all fellow hypsters. I got into crypto the hard way by mining with asics and GPU miners starting this past February. I then stumbled upon TokyoGhetto's HBN investment journal and immediately became a fan of POS. I have always quietly lurked on the forums following the two of you, Biomech, Tranz and a couple of others. I have learned quite a bit over this time and still have much to learn....thanks for the continuing education. Took a big hit on Tek when staking broke but still have holdings there. Along with a couple other coins. Out of all of the POS coins out there HyperStake is beyond a shadow of a doubt the best POS coin in existence! I don't know if it is too late but I just verified ownership on the richlist, right now at #53. Keep up the good work. I have great respect for you guys! HYPlionnaire, part deux - Hundred for hundredFellow hypsters, I salute you. To celebrate my accession to the rank of HYPlionaire, I will give 10k HYP away. "Hundred for hundred". The rules are as follow: 100 claimed address on the top 1000 will receive 100 HYP. I will start from the bottom so that it will benefit more the ones with less HYP. I will maintain a list of tipped addresses. I will check the list regularly so you can still claim your address now and get the HYP. To claim your address: In the wallet, File/Sign Message, enter your HYP address in first field, name as you want it to appear in second, click Sign Message, paste the three field to the claim page ( hyp.cryptocoinexplorer.com/claim). To check if your address is claimed: hyp.cryptocoinexplorer.com/richHave HYP, have fun! List of tipped addresses If you don't see your name here, contact me with your registered name on the richlist. I've sent a message before the site was relaunched and two emails since and I haven't heard a word about the 200k+ WATER that I'm owed.
Anyone else having problems getting coins out of the old site?
Same for me, i've sent an email about my coins and never got a reply Lost my hashrate for nothing !! Installed windows wallet for the first time on 4-29 it is the updated wallet. mined on official pool for a couple of days 59,000 plus coins had auto payment set. Received only just over 25,000 coins in wallet. still owed over 30k. auto payments sent but not received in wallet. Now wallet will not synch. For a coin that looks so promising with truly a good cause, issue like this will be what makes a coin fail....such a shame!
