lucazane, I see your NeoScrypt pools are all closed. How do I get my coins still there?

I assume I am late to the party as well. I don't have much DGB left in my account. However I would love to get them.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do to with older BTC Equipment? on: May 12, 2016, 08:43:59 PM
In my case, I have a few old machines that I don't have to pay the power for. So my thought was... what might be the next big thing...

What is everyone doing with their older BTC mining gear? Are there any other non-btc coins that might be worth adding some hash power to in the long run?

Excuse the newbie question but why hasn't this coin really ever taken off? I have been watching it for a while, and frankly to me it seems to be pretty universal and fair for miners. I'm definitely a fan of Myriad. The fact that it supports multiple types of mining hardware is a great alternative when BTC halves this summer. Thoughts?
5  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: [GUIDE] Innosilicon [A1 Booster + A2 Terminator] Support/Tuning on: August 13, 2015, 10:22:58 AM
In my case it appears it was a crap PSU. I have that A2 working right now, running 1200, but I am only getting 88mhs out of it. It's running great, I was going to work on changing the other settings this week. BTW I had to plug in the power to the blades backwards in order for it to work.

On my other one, it works and runs for a little bit but then powers off. During the time working, it starts out at 88mhs then slowly dwindles down to 6mhs then it powers off. I am assuming I have bad blades or something.

Howdy!

I have 2  A2 Mega's with 6 blades. It appears as the PSU died. So I replaced it with a 1300w. However the machine still won't power on with ANY blade connected to the PSU.

The Pi and Controller board have LEDs and I can login to the Pi. However as soon as I power down, then plug in a blade to the PSU, nothing powers up.

Any ideas or suggestions.

Thanks guys. I woke up this morning, and 2 of the machines are all of a sudden mining. Yesterday, I reset them to the defaults, left them off for a while and no change.

However when I woke up.... they were working. No knows. Thanks for the feedback!

Howdy!

I have 2 S4's that all of a sudden stopped mining. They are stock settings, no voltage change and I have tried a few different firmware's and they all show the same behavior. When I look at the Miner Status tab, all the values are blank.

The display on the front shows the correct IP. I have tried a few different pools, but no change.

Any suggestions?
Did you just happen to get your 2nd miner recently? If so disconnect one miner and see if it runs by itself without stopping.

I think it's odd for two to go exactly at same time.  I would agree try running one.   Maybe try another electric outlet on different circuit.  Unless you are just really having bad luck and have to give out at same time.

After that I would try to load firmware to see if it changes anything, make sure to keep settings.  (there is always risks with updating firmware).  But that would help rule out software.
Push in the reset button and hold for a few seconds.  This is typical for my S2's when I'm changing pools often.  Check to see if your at the current firmware.  When you reset if you have a static ip you'll need to go back and change it.  If your not running static ip's you should be.
Set your ip outside your dhcp range ex. 192.168.1.200

Well I'm dumb. Maybe too much turkey.

Someone turned the dhcp server off. All is well. Smiley

I got 4 new S4s and I booted them up and the IP shown is 127.0.0.1.

Any idea on how I can connect into my S4s? Smiley

Is it connected to network?   That is local host, making me think it is not connected to network.

Yeah it's connected, got blinks and everything. Smiley
