It was already explained in another thread, it's a security measure (of rather dubious quality) they put in for when price is falling too fast. This is the kind of "solution" that makes software engineers around the world scream out in agony.

Just chiming in that this "Invalid bitcoin address, please confirm your input" BS is still alive and well. Count me as another screwed pooch. I can't even believe how cross this makes me... Mt. Gox can't expect to survive with this kind of "Paypal'esque" customer abuse can they?

Something happened at block 863 that messed with the chain and causing people to not be able to sync. I'm trying my best.

hypercoinpool.com & cryptsy.com are in sync with the block explorer for block #20449 Best thing to do is to download the hypercoin-fork version, remove your peers.dat file, add "addnode=70.98.114.237" to your config, and start up the daemon. It should sync up. BigVern I'm happy to report that this worked for me... I'm sync'd and transactions are working again. Looks like we can actually bring this one back if we can get some hashing power now... |

Cryptocointalk forum is a much nicer version of these forums.. and if all the alt coin people moved over there we could have some organisation between all the coins and other topics people like to chat about.
