Sorry guys, way too many red flags for me on this one.  I'm out, best of luck to you all

Have a good one...don't see the point of this post other than FUD though...

15% stake per year or per month?

15% stake per year

imagine a bank would give interests like this,
we live in a great time :-)

So let me get it straight....

12.5 million coins were PoW.... 100 million coins total...

Staking distributed over 8 year period....

12.5 x (1.15)^8 = not 100 million coins right?

How does this work than?

Good question. By my calculations it will take between 14 and 15 years to hit 100M

did you calculate the "inerest-on-interest" also?

I did but only with a compound period of each year instead of 8 hours. In general, it's not that much more...even over a timespan like that (Not enought to turn 40M into 100M.

For those still not seeing staking with the latest wallet code (not windows). It can take over 24 hours to see a stake reward.

Has anyone got staking to work on Windows?

I still have yet to get staking working on linux. Is anyone else having the same issues?

DIS looking slow today, waiting for 50 mins to confirm a transaction.. O_o

Staking is having issues. Once the fix is in you will be back to normal if not much faster.

Useless post, I'm talking about transactions not about stacking. lol

I would hope that you realize that staking is confirming your transactions since PoW is gone.

Okay, seriously. What's up with staking and the eta numbers? If it is broken can we expect a wallet fix soon?

http://chainz.cryptoid.info/dis/

Stakes are being distributed.

90% of blocks appear to be going to DR7N4JZBbCeremZMgj8vkfJwopXcxBJedL (a wallet with only 3k DIS)

I realize nothing is perfect...but there are others with far more coins not staking.

We are looking into it thanks for the information.

Thanks guys. Glad you are on top of this.

Anyone actually seeing staking happen? My weight is over half the net weight and no staking has happened.

Here is the new wallet update:

https://mega.co.nz/#!VVFTUCzC!oz_3b5XqasN5D4u_0zT1LPZ3lAIw9pPmUv2UIFa5ecM

Ok now. We expected a wallet that would stake and now that we replaced it with this we don't even have a working wallet! dll is mising..what now??

Why not build from source? Seems like the Linux code builds without much hassle.
