1  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for a Javascript developer to help building a price tracking tool. on: November 09, 2021, 05:53:56 PM
Hello, I'm currently working on a project similar of what you're after. It's meant to be completely free though. It tracks the top most traded cryptocurrencies on various exchanges and alerts you if there's a high price changes recently.
Its name is : https://www.cryptopricesalerts.com/
Maybe we could work together!

Hi,
I'm writing here just to let you know I completely shut down this project since it didn't have any traction.
I may open it again if I notice some people are interested in it... but it is clearly not the case at this moment!

A big thank to those who believe in this project though!
I will come back!

Seems to be very simple and contains still some parts of the template you used. Or why is there the following sentence: "Only .NET jobs"? I think the intersection of ".NET" and crypto is pretty small, although I may be wrong.

The locations/cities also seem only to cover the US, which is a lost opportunity, I think - crypto is international, so a crypto job portal should also not be limited to a single country.

Is there any demo job listing to look at, to know how the pages will look?

It's also by far not the first website of this type, you'll likely face tough competition. In Google I find several websites of this kind (crypto.jobs, cryptocurrencyjobs.co, cryptojobs.list etc.).

First of all, thank you so much for your reply! Very relevant.
The website is still very basic indeed. I actually pushed it on prod only today so that's why there are still some glitches. The sentence containing .NET has been replaced, it was indeed a  oversight!
I could have developed it more and added more features to it but I first wanted to know if it was of any interests to anybody here. The look-by-locations feature was inherited from a previous job listing project and can definitely be removed if it does not suits people looking for cryptocurrencies jobs. Smiley I actually hesitated to remove it before pushing it into prod.

I will add some examples for people to know how a job listing will look like.

You're also right when you say there are lots of other websites of this type. But AFAIK, they are all commercial products. Jobcoiner has at least one advantage : it's free. No intermediate. A bit like bitcoin, no? haha

I hate to break this to you but crypto is a niche job and you will have to expand to more than just crypto if you want your site to grow, make it like LinkedIn or those other sites that is the same as yours. Plus, people might even find the Services board of this forum much better since it's a direct to the employer.

I would be delighted to add more features and make jobcoiner looks like Linkedin but I first would like to know what direction would be the best for this project. I think being in a niche is not a bad idea but if the website gets more tractions by being general, I may head towards that direction instead Smiley The aim here is to launch a POC to get reviews and opinions ASAP from the community Smiley This is what you are doing so that's great! It's a shame there's nop more people like you on this world haha

Hey everyone,

I developed a small job listing website where everybody can post or apply to crypto related jobs.
At this moment, it really is just a POC to see if it can be of any use to anyone.
It's completely blank and the project is just waiting for your jobs/applies!

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Is there a coinmarketFACT to gather every kind of metrics? on: April 03, 2021, 09:59:33 PM
Hello everyone!

Like you, I'm looking for investing into the next skyrocketing cryptocurrency!
But I'm not that kind of person who only invest on his pure intuition.
I try to gather as much FACTS as possible before investing.

I'm using coinmarketcap to follow the price evolution of the market cap, price and volume; both on global and on specific cryptos.
I'm using tokenview and blocktivity to track the overall activity (like # transactions/day or size of txs) of a specific blockchain.
I'm watching whale_alert on twitter to track if there were abnormal activities on a blockchain
I'm using cryptomiso.com and github.com to see the developping activity of a specific project.
I'm reading twitter and cryptopanic to check if there's been any hot news.
I'm using google, twitter, lunarcrush and some facebook groups to follow the global trend/hype.
Finally, I'm using tokentax.co to calculate the taxes on my investments.

As you can see, there quite a lot of parties involved in this process and it requires manual work to gather it all.
I'm looking for something that would somehow gather it all for me Cheesy! Do you know any website/app that already tracks suck infos? What do you use personnaly?
