W64 wallet not syncing for me and can't see a conf file anywhere.
You have to create it in the Nautiluscoin folder. Create a new .txt file called nautiluscoin.txt, paste the nodes previously posted into it, close it and rename it nautiluscoin.conf. Then you can open the wallet and it should sync just fine. If not, remove everything except for the wallet.dat and the new nautiluscoin.conf from the folder and start the wallet again. It will download the entire blockchain again, so wait a couple of minutes until it catches up and it should work.
Thanks, This worked

We were just added onto Coins-E exchange at https://www.coins-e.com/ . It's a small exchange at the moment, but it's great to have more infrastructure supporting nautiluscoin.

I mean, you guys do realize that you are implicitly rooting for the downfall of bitcoin, right?

When bitcoin is taxed and regulated like the dollar is, it will just be another dollar. It won't be interesting. It won't help poor or average people. It will just be another conduit for the rich to get wealthier.

I know, I realize thats been your plan all along. You don't give a shit about other people. Must be nice to be a sociopath and not have the responsibilities of morality and empathy holding you back.
Don't you think that nautiliscoin is just capturing the needs of a new market? I,  personally,  think there is room for a bunch of coins with their own personal niches. Darkcoin was created to anonymously send coins,  urocoin (I don't support this coin) was created to bring standardization of farmers, and vertcoin was designed to prevent ASICS. I hold a lot of bitcoin and do not want the fundamentals of bitcoin to change. Nor do I want regulation for bitcoin. I think when you are in the financial market,  however, transparency is needed to prevent over leveraging and ponzi schemes. I feel this coin won't affect other cryptocurrencies and will be used purely in its niche market.

Is anyone else having trouble withdrawing from mintpal? I placed a withdrawal order around 11 pm last night and it still hasn't done through.

Someone is definitely active on mintpal. I just bought 26,000 Naut and the price is still being gamed.

Keep the price this low until Friday, the day my coinbase order goes through.

I'm still waiting for your solution?! How do we solve the "rich get richer problem"?

Well, greedy people don't get rich by not being evil, so yes that is a dilemma. But first of all we need to stop putting so much god damn societal importance on $$$$WEALTH$$$$.

Wealth is not the end all, be all of anything. It means nothing. I've met too many rich idiots in my lifetime to believe it means something. If you think money infers any sort of personal value, intelligence or force of righteousness in the universe, I have 2 words for you:

BERNIE MADOFF.

BTW -- ripping off other people is not "intelligent" behavior. If the world is a stupider place around you because of YOU, you're an idiot. I don't care how much money it makes you, you're a stupid human as you failed to advance environmental conditions for your species to thrive at a time when the norm was to try to do so.

Society has OK'd any bullshit behavior so long as its not flat out illegal and it nets you a profit. This has lead to a failure of capitalism. Instead of rewarding people for doing good, we reward them for figuring out how to make money, regardless of how its made... even if it kills us all (as is happening in the healthcare industry).

I had an idea for a coin where hashpower is capped and only has up to a certain positive correlation with successfully mining a block, meaning more hashrate /= more mined blocks and the playing field would be equalized a bit. Of course someone would eventually figure out a way to game the system but their profit would be minimized by having to run however many IP addresses, CPUs and miners in parallel.

The reality is there is no simple solution. Either the system will fix itself, or it will break or collapse. We ought to know anywhere between 6 months and 3 years from now.
Why are you posting here if you have nothing constructive or positive to say? Instead, you make rash generalizations that are irrelevant to the conversation. I disagree with much of what you say, but I have the decency to not hijack this thread for my own personal agenda. Nautiluscoin has a lot of good things going for it. Let's keep it that way.

I just realized that Nautilus coin is not on coinwarz web site, many MANY MANY people look their DAILY for profitability, I like their nethash charts. Right now Nautilus coin is NOT listed there, if they were, this could help with net hash! Voting is FREE and can be done once per hour, it just takes 5 seconds to vote, no need for sign ups and other noncense.

Have a great weekend everyone!
Great call. I didn't know you had to vote to get on coinwarz.

Does anyone have an accurate way of predicting your Naut per day when mining?  The coin should be producing about 216000 Naut per day,  150 reward*60minutes/hour*24hours/day, but I know it is less in reality.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [NAUT] Nautiluscoin - First Coin w/Stabilization Fund - Digishield on: June 16, 2014, 04:33:50 AM
What is the deal with the pools for Naut? The net hashrate shows over 550 MH/s, yet most of the pools in the OP are dead and the two working pools I can find ( 0free mentioned in OP and IPOMiners, which is not mentioned) only total about 50 MH/s and so it takes them 24-48 hours to find a block.

Seems like there is a huge pool that is happily raking in huge amounts of Nautilus while effectively blocking anyone outside of that stealth pool from being able to mine more than scraps. Maybe I'm paranoid, but I don't see this sort of thing happening with most coins which makes me wonder, considering Naut's links to the old status quo (Wall Street).
My gpu mining rig makes more mining x13 on trademybit, so I am just converting the bitcoin I get to Nautiluscoin. I don't see the POW part of nautiluscoin as a threat because we are all invested in this coin for the POS. I think the risk of an attack vs the reward in the future of nautiluscoin is low so I'd try to be apart of this coin if I were new.

Also I rented 450k/hs, but it onyl show 161khs at the pool...is there a way to use all 450khs?
The pool is often incorrect in its numbers. The chart on betarigs is what you should go off of. Your hashrate should average out to be 450kh/s which you will see about 15 minutes into your rental. In the top right hand corner of the homepage of betarigs, go to myrigs and next to the rig you rented will be the chart I am talking about.

For the short term,  I would recommend betarigs as the risks are significantly less than actually buying mining equipment.  I personally see all investments into scrypt mining equipment right now as dead money as scrypt difficulty will soon increase at an exponential rate. With the advent of POS, we won't need to rely on miners for our security so I personally see no long term benefit to investing in hardware right now. It would be nice to have a stabilization fund sponsored, x13 multipool. That way the fund has a source of guaranteed income if a few trades went wrong.  It might also bring an influx of people to the coin as gpu miners are typically more invested into a coin when they have financial incentive.

Not to shit on the effort you're putting in banana2995, but a forum unless planned very well and designed very well, would not be as useful as using what already exists. Like this thread, though it is very active so that's not a problem. But we also have the NautilusCoin subreddit and now a Facebook page. Reddit could be more useful, I mean if anything they should make someone as active and as eager as you a moderator on it.

If a dedicated forum is created, it runs the risk of becoming very inactive and that can be pretty damaging to the image of a coin. Instead we should focus on making what we already have as active as possible.
No offense taken. I try to be active on the Nautiluscoin subreddit as well as chime in here every once in a while. Is there any more infrastructure that we can create or get ready? Recruiting members is always the hardest part of growing a new coin.

I kind of been hacking together a forum for us for the past hour. While I have coding and some web experience, I have never made or ran a forum before. I am open to all ideas and comments about it. I am just learning the basics so please be patient with me.

You can find it at nautiluscoinforum.com

Did you try what newra suggested above??
Not yet. I  PM'ed Newra a few questions regarding on what happens during a repair. I don't want to lose 90 Nautiluscoins and all my "evidence" that something might be wrong in the case that something is wrong. Right now I have a transaction log on my laptop wallet that differs from the blockchain explorers. I do not want to lose that transaction log. I just thought to check mintpal to see if they received an extra 90 NAUT but they had not.

Are you sure all your coins are on the same address? It is possible that you have 90 in a change address that your wallet knows about. A change address would be a different Address from you main address.. but if you wallet owns it then it will show in your wallet balance.

I think there is a menu item that shows all your addresses and the balance on each address.

But, this would explain the discrepancy because the block explorer would only show you coins in an "address" not in a "wallet".

What PilotofBTC said is exactly what I was thinking too. I was going to suggest that to you next.
This time goto debug console and type:

listaddressgroupings

That should list all the addresses in your wallet and their balances (including change addresses I believe). Add them up and see how much you've ...
I profusely thank everyone who helped me out, especially PilotfBTC, Kehtolo, and Newra. I did the listaddressgroupings and found the missing addresses with 90 NAUT. It is weird to me because I have only used one address for all my inputs and I checked the one other address that was visible to me and unused. I have no idea where the 4 other addresses came from, but I am glad to know I have them. I have used dogecoin extensively with many different receiving addresses for my workers in the past and for some reason always got the total wallet balance whenever I lookedup one of my many receiving addresses. I guess this coin is just a little different in that respect. I will be purchasing a few bitcoins worth more in the next couple days. Sorry for the false accusations and thank you for resolving my problems.

I just emailed through the site this email.

Hi, my name is ________, my bitcointalk username is banana2995, and my wallet address is "NMCTofdhGVLfSibtoPK4sxCDCLdX1rQBjA". I am having a balance discrepancy between the Nautiluscoin explorers and my laptop wallet. My laptop wallet is correct  in saying I have "8847.30435649 NAUT". I personally went through all my transactions and that is the correct amount. The blockchain explorers, however, say my wallet amount is "8757.278641 NAUT". The discrepancy starts on 5/17/2014 when I transferred 2000 coins to mintpal in the form of 10 NAUT and subsequently 1990 NAUT. For some reason, the blockchain says I transferred approximately 2090 coins when you add up the 6 transactions on the explorer. I am not disgruntled or angry, but I must hold off buying Nautiliuscoin until this is resolved. If you need anything from me, I will do my best to give it to you in a professional and timely manner.

Thank you for taking the time to read this,
__________

My problem arises in the output part (....). I sent 2000 to my mintpal account in the forms of 10 Naut nad 1990 Naut. For some reason the explorer says I sent about 2090 Naut, 90 MORE than I supposedly sent.

are you sure your not looking at the total in the block?
Well, on the rich list I am number 65 with 90 coins less than my wallet shows I have.

Maybe you didn't wait long enough?  IT refreshes every 30min. When i looked around position 65 - there is no wallet with the number of coins you stated.
My guess is that the list is showing the correct amount now.

It has been a few days/a week at the wrong amount.  The block Explorer shows this "65       8757.278641 NAUT   NMCTofdhGVLfSibtoPK4sxCDCLdX1rQBjA".

My wallet on my computer shows 8847.30435649 Naut.

And it is fully synchronized? I dunno what this could mean..
I put your wallet address into the block explorer and it said: 8757.27864062 NAUT

http://explorer.nautiluscoin.com/address/NMCTofdhGVLfSibtoPK4sxCDCLdX1rQBjA

I would take it up with the Devs.. but I'm not sure how to contact them. Perhaps the main page?

I would find this slightly worrying unless we get a logical answer.
Thanks I will try to contact them. My wallet amount is the correct amount based on my transactions.  I personally went through them all and compared the transactions with the block chain website.  The block chain website has it "wrong". I still believe in this coin though and will probably buy 2 btc worth once I get this resolved.
