Will BSC be able to compete with ETH on security?

It seems that many platforms are still not accepting BSC to transfer assets....
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Free $50 in BTC for Speculation from CFD Exchange on: April 17, 2021, 03:47:35 PM
Yes.. I agree.. it's better to always earn your money, not to gamble!

At first, I thought it was good bonus.. so that's why I shared...

Later I saw the ads from other CFD exchanges on my phone (because Google shares my searches to the advertisers)... apparently $50 signup bonus in CFD exchange is a standard bonus thing...

Do not be scammed by the phrase for free, as no one gives anything for free. It is also better to remove kYC part, give the prize in specific token and it does not necessarily be in US dollar.

"There is no free money on the internet" For this point I disagree, Uni, safepal and the popular now TKO are some example project that gives free money and I earn so much from this
All the examples you mentioned do not promise users to get free money. They were promised money that they would get in a certain token and the price of that token might drop to zero.

This is a good advise anytime you see someone advertising free money. It is not free. KYC is your information you are going to risk out there and scammers can have access to it. I prefer to labour for what I get because I'm sure it will be rewarding for me. They could be buying your information with $50.

For whatever reasons, I wasn't able to reply for a few days (it always says that someone from my IP address has posted in the last 5 minutes)

But no to your question.

"Bonuses cannot be withdrawn directly. You can only use bonus in transactions and withdraw the amount you have earned."

Just free gambling chips to entice people into gambling... (plus getting KYC info)

Just sharing this free BTC opportunity for people in English-speaking countries from a Japanese crypto CFD exchange.
No deposit required but KYC is required.

What do you exactly mean? Was that really a free money that I can withdraw after passing the kyc? I'm just curious about it since there's no required investments, which I think shady in the first place.
Please kindly provide some support for this potential opportunity, so that everybody won't have doubts about this topic.
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: Free $50 in BTC for Speculation from CFD Exchange on: April 17, 2021, 03:17:10 PM
This is just free $50 chips for you to gamble (in exchange for your KYC information)....  you'll lose the gamble soon for most people.  Unless you are great short-term trader.. most people wouldn't benefit from this too much.  You can only withdraw up to $1000 if you win in the gamble using the money (per the term discloses)

Note that this is a CFD exchange. $50 accounting opening bonus is quite standard bonus among CFD exchanges. Another one (based in Australia) is offering similar bonus for Forex CFD exchange.

My recommendation for most people is to leave this promo out unless you know what you are doing.

8  Economy / Lending / Re: Any Institutional Borrowers of CeFi (Celsius, Nexo, APYHARVEST, BlockFi) Here? on: April 10, 2021, 03:40:40 AM
Thanks so much for the information.

From the information I saw, these firms increase their yields through a process called rehypothecation (this is a bit like money multiplier...)
e.g. by the CFO of Celsius Network  https://celsiusnetwork.medium.com/what-we-do-how-we-do-it-9a82124f7159

From my understanding, US has a cap of 2x rehypothecation while UK (where Celsius and ApyHarvest are based) has no such caps (in the traditional space, not sure if cryptos fall into such restrictions) .. The UK ones claim to be doing it at 4x to 5x (which potentially suggest that they can offer higher yields on deposit than BlockFi due to regulatory differences)....

I am just curious how this actually works...  does the custody partner (like Genesis) provide such services or they have to do it on their side? Most of them claim to be doing mostly collateralized lending... but why would institutional borrowers put some cryptos as collateral and borrow some other cryptos?  Which cryptos are mostly used as collaterals? BTC or stablecoins such as USDT/USDC?

9  Economy / Lending / Any Institutional Borrowers of CeFi (Celsius, Nexo, APYHARVEST, BlockFi) Here? on: April 10, 2021, 01:17:30 AM
Can you provide some insights as to why you are borrowing from these CeFi platforms? (instead of from DeFi or exchanges directly?)
What are your experiences with them?
Which of them provide the best deal and services?

Your answers will be very helpful for retail lenders who are lending to these platforms
