1  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcurex.com - official thread on: June 04, 2014, 10:40:26 AM
I just found that on Bitcurex's Facebook:

https://www.facebook.com/Bitcurex/photos/a.413690888745569.1073741824.269589686489024/592875470827109/?type=1&theater

Anyone heard something about it? They say something about new features etc.

Ok I found beta version of new Bitcurex:

Well this news is quiet old now, and yes, these people encourage a lot of others to invest in bitcoin, i have myself seen many people investing in btc just because they found some big names investing in btc.

Bitcoin2014 in Amsterdam, 30mln $ for Bitpay, few "yays" from people connected to US government and we have BTC at circa 500$. Hope this trend continues, and if it does, it would be nice to avoid another speculation bubble. Let's just crawl to the top with a good amount of corrections. Smiley

Nemo1024, are you from Russia? To be precise: I'm not trying to undermine your opinion if you are - your opinion is your right. I'm just curious about your arguments for such thesis like "NATO-staged election circus".

I see no point in asking the nationality of posters here. Most of the Russians will support Russia and most of the Americans will support the US. But that has nothing to do with this thread. Everyone is free to post their opinions. I am from South Asia and I support Nemo1024's position here. Because, I believe that removing a democratically elected government and replacing it with some neo-Nazis does not augur well for the future of global democracy.

Of course everyone is free to post. I wanted to know where those information came from - from which media, that's why I asked, no undermining at the table. It's an open discussion and I think that Nemo1024 didn't mind - he answered me politely.

About removing a democratically elected government: well, it depends what this government does and how it resembles its tasks given by society. Also, "neo-nazis" is a pretty biased term and pretty convenient for one side of this conflict, maybe too convenient. Of course the same applies to "russian brutal aggressors with Kalashnikovs" etc.

he's probably just investing a small amount, trying to diversify his assets.. it doesn't necessarily mean that he will use his weight to protect bitcoin's development, but maybe it is.

You are right, however in my opinion the amount of his investment is not as important, as the information for wider public that goes beneath - another successful enterpreneur thinks that Bitcoin is here to stay - in the aspect of good publicity it's priceless.

This is the correct way to look at it. General public always takes inspiration from established players to invest their hard-earned money. If some bear hears about popular investors investing in Bitcoin, he would be less reluctant to invest his own assets.

True.

More good news from another enterpreneur, this time from eBay's CEO:

Ukraine continues to harass and prosecute journalists, trying to stem the flow of information.

Journalists of TV channel Russia 24 got threatened by the Ukrainian authorities to leave the country until the 19th of May (today) or else they'll be prosecuted:
http://www.gazeta.ru/politics/news/2014/05/19/n_6162213.shtml
Men in uniform already appeared in the apartment of one of the journalists, hinting that they got some documents about her commiting some severe crime and thet she'd better make herself scares.

Seems they are trying to get any non-conforming journalists from the country before the NATO-staged elections circus on the 25th.

Turchinov said that Ukraine prepares a claim against Russia for 100 billion dollars (did they already pay for the gas, to make any claims?)
http://www.novayagazeta.ru/news/1682243.html

While the minister of economic development of Russia Uljukaev stated today that Russia invested over the years in Ukrainian economy (including the rebated gas prices) 200 billion dollars.

30 mln dollars - well, I hope it won't pass unnoticed by markets. More BTC-oriented people --> more transactions --> faster revolution. Wink

Some other investors: Charles Branson, founder of Yahoo Jerry Yang, and PayPal founder Peter Thiel.

Hope that such news will encourage others. Enough bad publicity for BTC already!

Hi,
Anyone doublechecked this site? No scam involved I hope!

For me Chrome is the best when it comes to speed, simplicity etc. However one may feel a little overwhelmed with the size of Google and with the amount of data we supply them with... In this case, stick to Firefox: cool array of plugins and pretty good speed.

Amen!

Najlepiej to pokazał Amber Gold.

How about 365Coin? There was a speculation bubble there last time I checked.

16  Local / Polski / Re: FAIL STULECIA TVN 24 BIŚ o Bitcoin on: May 12, 2014, 01:27:47 PM

Pozdrawiam
