We are designing a decentralized travel booking platform for the tourism sector. There are so many limitations, still curious to know the view of the community, what should be the technical aspects that we need to include that make the travel booking truly decentralized?
This should not be based on Ethereum, that is not really trying to achieve any true decentralization at all, and we know that most of their nodes are hosted on cloud servers. If you want to build something like this you should use real decentralized network like Bitcoin, or build something on top of bitcoin using some second layer solution or lightning network. Right |

Just listened to Vitalik on Naval Podcast. It was a great talk. It raises some questions in mind about the true decentralization that Etherium is trying to achieve, and how we can implement that vision in the travel sector.
We are designing a decentralized travel booking platform for the tourism sector. There are so many limitations, still curious to know the view of the community, what should be the technical aspects that we need to include that make the travel booking truly decentralized?

1. You should go with the utility token, you can also try to add NFT token as another option as well.
2. Avalanche is good but why didn't you tri to choose BSC or DOT? both were more reliable compared with AVAX chain.
3. It should be IEO on the major exchange site and coinlist
4. You should have developed fully working product, doing very good progress and this may take a very long time to go. Binance has its own team that was actively auditing the project that applied for the listing purpose.
There lots of qualifications that must have filled by the project that wanna be listed on binance.
5. You can try to start with some low tier exchange site like HOTBIT and then medium tier exchange site like bithumb or MXC.

2. If someone has used Avalanche Blockchain, please share the experience. We are exploring it for executing faster transactions and lowering the transaction costs.
3. Which one is the best platform to launch the ICO?
4. What should we take care of if we are approaching Binance for a listing of our token.
5. What are the other reputed alternatives for listing? (which can be less complicated in the process)

Most ICOs are scams, you should find a different way to raise funds for the project. -> Yes, we have also observed the same in so many telegram groups; new projects with multiple red flags (no whitepapers, no website, no team details, no LinkedIn profile... almost nothing genuine)... then also people are investing in it, group admin and their paid team start with "going to the moon" mission and the mission is community-driven within some hours. Basically, we are not raising funds for the project, the project is half the way with our own funding. It will be completed in year-end. Actually, we want to develop an ecosystem for our project, or you can say that we want to ensure our future business and minimizing our investment risk by introducing crypto. We believe that it is one of the best ways to develop a community. |
