Hello everyone,
Sunshiney's thinking is very interesting. When one sees other altcoin as deeponion that thanks to an advanced social marketing has managed to generate more than 3000 members, it becomes vital that Solarcoin develops this aspect. Today there are over 1000 Cryptocurrencies and without effective marketing, SLR has no chance to progress.
I do not agree with that, I think on the contrary that it is the individuals who are the future of SLR. Large farms do not need SLR to develop themselves. And there is only watching the development of bitcoin to realize the power of the mass. Did you just post and then disagree with yourself or am I seeing things? Anyway, thanks for the payout the morning. I caught the top just in time for my Sister's investment from three years ago. Decided to come here and read up on what peeps are saying. Nothing new, just as I suspected. Best wishes everyone, sorry I wasn't convinced to stay on the train but I feel good about the decision to vacate when I did. Blessings. <3

I did the enhanced thing much as I didn't want to send a passport picture. I'm able to withdraw 0.025 btc per day, applies to all crypto, BTC or no. Anyway, I noticed on the settings page in the recent transactions that it said: JUMIO_SUCCESS so I googled it and Jumio is apparently an Austrian ID verification company. Has this been mentioned here yet? https://www.jumio.com/2016/11/austrian-start-up-of-year/

Hi all... It's been a while! I've had a few PM's today from people wanting to know if I'm still around. So I decided to make a quick post to say congratulations to all of you who have stuck with it even though I didn't! I admit, I feel a little pain at having sold my few hundred thousand back at 2.5 cents. Many a shake my head moment over the past few weeks to be sure. LOL However, my friends and family still have their SLR so I'm excited for them. And I'm still excited for the project to become a success. I'm sure there's a personal lesson or two yet to come for me in all of this and I'm grateful for the experience I had here the first couple of years. I learned a lot about crypto and even more about myself. It seems I still need a little work in the patience department... Anyway, that's all from me. Bless you all and enjoy the ride, that's all I got.

How do I buy Ethereum mining? I've used NiceHash in the past for Scrypt coins and it was easy: Create an account at a pool, find the required mining information for the pool, enter that info on NiceHash when buying and let it roll. I'd like to mine some Ethereum in this manner too but damn if I'm not confused right now on how to go about doing that in an easy way like I remember... Some guidance would be much appreciated.

I wonder if Whoever is pushing the price down actually thinks people are going to sell at these ridiculous prices. As far as I can tell, Someone is buying and selling their own coins on bittrex. This is the same person who is pushing the price down. The question is: is he trying to short because that's a dangerous game to play when you're the only one actually selling. Actually, that was me selling. I've watched and participated for almost two years and in all that time someone has been purposefully capping the price at a penny. We've all witnessed it, it's not even news anymore. At first I assumed it was just some nutjob crackpot in his 40's who had severe control issues symbolic of mental illness of some sort, schizophrenia maybe with a healthy heaping of paranoia mixed with some sprinkles of OCD. But for the life of me, I can't imagine even a person like that having the staying power like this guy has. It just isn't logical to assume that after all this time, one person would be crazy enough to obsessively control the price of an obscure coin in an obscure corner of the digital universe that has no more than a couple dozen people even paying attention. The odds of that hypothesis being true are so small that there has to be some other variable in the equation that has been carefully omitted from this whole story. For what rational purpose then would someone try to control the price of this coin since its inception? Who benefits from that? Someone who has completed deluded themselves into thinking this coin would save the world? Or someone who wanted to take advantage of people who would be deluded into thinking this coin will save the world? Or perhaps both? I still don't know the answers to these questions but I do have a lot of data gathered and a fairly informed opinion given the time horizon I've been part of this little experiment. One conclusion I have made for myself is this: I choose to no longer be a part of this experiment. I sincerely hope it works out for those choosing to continue their involvement. And for the individual(s) working day and night to control the price of this coin, may you be blessed with a reward equal to your efforts that will inspire the courage within you to begin allowing some things in your life to occur naturally. And know that such an obsessive focus on control is not rational, it is quite the opposite, it is an emotional decision rooted in fear that you have cleverly convinced yourself is the right thing to do, for whatever reason. And with that, I bid you all adieu! I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here in this quiet little corner of the Universe and I have gained much insight into the nature of man and how that is ultimately what defines the nature of value. I have also come to understand my own nature during this time and this particular experiment no longer matches my definition of value, therefore I am moving on. Again, best wishes to all of you in the fight for freedom. Our goals are still the same, I'm simply choosing a different path to get there.

I saw Bittrex online and my wallet was synced at 2.0.7.
I didn't think to check the forum and looks like my coins went into a black hole when I sent to Bittrex. Usually where I end up in Crypto anyways. So how do I get my coins back?
You'll have to do what I did: re-download the block chain, start up fresh again, let it sync and re-scan your wallet. The small amount I had sent to Bittrex that got lost in the ether magically reappeared after I did all that.
OK, I'm all set again. It looks like every now and then the wallet tries to sync up with that other chain though. Why is that? Just out of curiosity.
Nothing I can do until the bootstrap finishes downloading. I have a couple of hours to kill. Be back later to let you know how I make out.
Looks like it started slowing down about six hours ago, according to CryptoID. I was sleeping like a baby then. Nah, I like the idea that Bittrex forked it.
Wait a second though... wouldn't that mean that I should be getting all the rewards from the blocks being found? Because I'm not... But my question is... Since the fork the blockchain stalled and I didn't find a single block in the past five hours. If the majority of us where on the correct blockchain why did we all stop finding blocks? Unless of course, Epiphany is sitting on 20 million coins, that would probably explain it! Hehe, not even close. Cut off two zeroes and you're much closer. LOL

All,
There are three nodes on 2.0.7 that have forked and need to reload the blockchain:
68.132.65.5 150.101.243.74 73.10.58.144
Current block height on the master node is 837044.

HA!!! That must be me, right??? That's awesome. am I the first to fork us??? I'm laughing pretty hard right now guys. I will re-download and set up again.

Well, I have to go out for a few hours. Hopefully I'll know more when I get back.

I'm at block 837,637. Is this right? Do you mean 837067? 837,642 now... It's way off where the block explorer says I should be. I don't get it. EDIT: All three of my wallets are saying the same thing. They are all version 2.07, updated, scanned, all that. EDIT2: Is the block explorer on the wrong chain somehow? My wallets are humming along, getting small interest payments now and then, but I'm like 500 blocks past the block explorer now. What block are others running 2.07 at? But did you also get the new bootstrap? Yeah I did all that earlier this morning. (3 hours ago, do be precise. I started the downloads before bed because they take a long time for me. Then when I got up this morning, I updated all my wallets. As they finally caught up is when I noticed I was like 300 blocks ahead of what the block explorer was showing. That's when I started trying to figure out what was going on. )

Bittrex is definitely not on the same chain that I am.
I'm not saying which one is the right one or the wrong one. But it seems to me, the one continuing at 1 block per minute is likely the proper chain. And that isn't the one Bittrex is on.
How did you figure out that Bitterx is on the wrong change. If I buy coins form there and try to transfer them to me wallet will it work? Well, I shouldn't have said "wrong" chain, I don't really know that. I just know they are on a different chain because I sent SLR from one of my wallets to my Bittrex wallet almost an hour ago and it's got 52 confirmations now but it is not registering at all on my Bittrex wallet as an incoming deposit. So that tells me their train is on a different track than mine is. Oh and the CryptoID chain seems to be on that other track too... Again, I don't know which is the correct one, only that the one I am on is humming away at a block per minute, which seems like how it should be.

If I am somehow on the wrong chain, which is possible even though I may not understand that yet, then I need to also figure out how to get back to the correct one.
Hmmm, ok if I restored to lets say to yesterdays back up would my wallet point to the right chain or is it a 50/50 chance of getting back on the same slow path i'm already on
I'd think you would gravitate to the chain with the most confirmations. It's worth a try!

My three wallets are all on block 837,713 now.
