I'm trying to work out if I can use Bulk Edit/Delete to: Delete all Binance Trades where Type = "Interest Income" or "Other income" and date is before 2023.01.01
It doesn't seem I can do this directly with Bulk Delete I think the only way I can do this in CT is to use Bulk Edit and create a brand new exchange based on the above criteria (e.g. "TempExchange"), and then go to Bulk Delete and delete all trades in TempExchange. I'd need to do this twice, once for Type = "Interest Income" or and once for Type = "Other income"
Is that correct?

I'm aggregating about 20,000 daily interest payments into about 700 monthly payments. I don't need 20,000 daily interest payments in CT. I don't believe CT has implemented the ability to aggregate interest payments, so I've written my own code to make the changes outside of CT - please correct me if this functionality does exist.
I think my only option is to follow the instructions you gave for "Start from scratch"

I've done a full CSV Export and have been making changes to the data. When I do a CSV import, at https://cointracking.info/import/import_csv/ does it: 1. append the upload to the existing data in CT? or 2. remove all existing data from CT and replace it with the CSV import? If it is number 2, how do I delete everything in CT before I do the CSV import? I have made a backup. regards, dr1ver

Hi - can you provide an update on my request please. Can you also provide some insight into how requests are reviewed and prioritised?
Yes, that's right - hence the request.

Please can I request the ability to combine Interest Income transactions over a user-selected period? (e.g. 5, 10 days, 1 calendar month)
I've made relatively few transactions, but have a large number of Interest Income transactions which come in daily. They are quickly burning up my account transaction allocation with no benefit. The detail is not required for my tax purposes. It creates a lot of clutter when I'm reviewing transactions.
It would be good to configure this in the user interface rather than having to do this as a manual process by exporting, doing everything in Excel and re-importing.
I imagine other users would appreciate being able to do this.

Thank you - yes I know, your team is generally very responsive to tickets. I think making Feature Requests more public helps to create a sense of community. It can make a big difference if a number of people ask for the same Feature. It can help your team decide on priorities. It gives the community a sense that your team are prioritising items that the users think are important - which I'm sure you strive to do, but this will help.

Hi CoinTracking Team Can I make a request that you please set up a Feature Request webpage? It should: - Allow Feature Requests to be created
- Allow Voting
- Show Status of a Request
Kind regards, dr1ver

i.e. How do I get the data from the charts? I can't do a calculation on a picture
On my version of that report, I see charts, a table of end of year prices, and some current data. As mentioned, I need daily prices for at least 50 days in order to calculate correlations. Is there something basic I'm missing?
Hi,
I want to understand correlations between the approx 40 coins I own. To do this I need to get daily price data for each coin for a given time period - probably the last 50 days. What's the easiest way to get this from CT?

Has anyone used Excel Power Query with the CoinTracking API, to import CT data into Excel? I'm trying to set this up, but not sure how to meet the following requirements, from the CT documentation, using Power Query: - Send your key and sign as http header. - The sign is a HMAC-SHA512 message of the method, the nonce and the POST data, signed with your API secret. - The nonce must be increasing for each call. We recommend to use UNIX time or microtime.
I've raised a ticket for this, but also posting here, in case other users have relevant experience. I know we can use CryptoSheets, but I'd like to understand how to do this with Power Query.

Hi,
On the CT Binance API Import page, I've seen the following message posted: "Binance has shared in its 04/23/2021 announcement, that API accesses will be throttled due to high system load. " I'm also seeing this under my API key: "Error: Invalid API-key, IP, or permissions for action Last imported tx: 27.04.2021 18:07 | Last check: 30.04.2021 22:44"
It was running fine previously. Is there another known issue, other than the throttling? Do I need to create another API Key?

Hi, I wonder if you can help me with the Missing Transactions report. I don't understand some of the basics of how this report works. I've read the article on the Support page: https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/en/support/solutions/articles/29000033710I've read the FAQ on https://cointracking.info/missing_transactions.phpI've searched for "missing" in this forum. Before I understand White transactions, I think I need to understand Green transactions. For a Green transaction, is this table showing *pairs* of rows that have been matched up? If so how do I know which 2 rows are a linked pair? I assume the table should be sorted by date? Is the goal to not have any data in this table? Or is the goal to have all transactions appearing in green, where a withdrawal matches a deposit? For instance I have the following 2 green transactions. Are they green because they have matched with each other? (I have remove the Comment and TradeID) Deposit 141.20800000 1INCH 496.35098647 BSC Transaction 2021-04-20 17:57:28 100.0000% (High) Withdrawal -141.26000000 1INCH 0.05200000 1INCH 496.53376827 Binance 2021-04-20 17:56:52 100.0000% (High) Is this telling me there is problem that I need to fix? Or is it saying it is green and so there is nothing to be done?

ah sorry - I didn't appreciate that your CTRL+SHIFT comment was about CT and not Excel - ok that makes things easier CT shows my deposits into the vaults, and the vault tokens, but not the interest being earned. Maybe the interest isn't being posted onto the blockchain, but just at the sites, until I do a withdrawal (?)
I earn interest on BSC at Vaults at AutoFarm.Network and at Beefy.Finance, and these are not included in CT. Do I need to add these manually?
If the answer is "yes", is there a way I can filter out Interest Income from the Binance API? Then I can just upload all Interest Income manually rather than having to go through multiple steps of backup, exporting, deleting etc
actually that won't quite work, because CT won't let me bulk delete for a given date range (I assume), so I'll need to do all transactions for the Exchange in Excel, not just the ones in a date range
Yep - I don't need any guidance the basics of Excel So Steps 4 & 5 are: 4. Delete *All Transactions* from CT for the Exchange that contains Interest Income 5. Using the CoinTracking Excel Import template: - combine Interest payments for the date range and for the Exchange - upload *all transactions* for the date range and for the Exchange (but now with combined Interest Income, rather than granular Interest Income)
