1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XC][OFFICIAL] X11/PoS/Privacy on: June 12, 2014, 01:55:40 AM
Can someone confirm or point to directions for Proof of Stake minting? I made some changes last Friday to my conf file and re-downloaded the blockchain and saw a small .001% reward right after but I haven't seen anything since.

In my wallet, my coins show up under balance but I am concerned they need to be under stake instead.

Thanks,

Hello everyone,

I've been mining less than a week, I have a single 560Ti that I've managed to pool Dogecoin successfully and have been trying to do some Diamond. I have the ccminer2.1 running on a pool right now, but I'm getting about 66% efficiency. I assume this is because I'm using a push/pull pool (digsys.bg). And it looks like I can't get stratum to work because of the error mentioned earlier. I've attempted to compile it from Git but have been having problems with that and was trying to run the ccminer_diamond_gtx exe's that were posted upthread, but I get a libcurl.dll missing error.

Going to switch back over to Doge mining on CUDAminer and go to bed, but if anyone can point me to a solution to get a valid executable, either precompiled or help with compiling my own, it would be appreciated.

I was trying to compile but wound up downloading the CUDA 5.0 instead of 5.5. I tried changing the include statements to point to the files I had but ran into an issue on compile. I guess my first question is confirmation whether I need to include the 2.1 CUDA files and change the references, or get the 5.5 ones in there and change a flag or something in the headers.

On another note, I was looking at DMD and Doge because of their placement on this list: http://www.coinchoose.com/. Am I doing the right thing here? Are any of you guys making money doing this, or is it just a hobby for you. I figured this would be a good opportunity to get some coins in a new currency and hold on to them for long term. Am I wasting my time?

Thanks for all the help from everyone in the past 10-20 pages of this post!
