Nah, wasn't really bar getting me down, though I must admit I wasn't looking forward to dealing with the mess that I expected trolls to have created by the time I was able to return.
FWIW I don't have troll minions. There's enough trolls already. Seriously, with guys like Barrabbas in the thread, why would I need them?
Anyway, I know I haven't been very active in the thread over this weekend like I said I was going to be, there honestly hasn't been much going on, so I've been working on some things behind the scenes so that everyone here actually has something to talk about. Any thoughts and ideas are welcome, as always. Feel free to post here in the thread or PM me.
In the meantime, someone mentioned a logo contest sometime back and I was wondering what the community could come up with, so lets have some fun with that.

SeedCoin Logo Contest
10,000 SEED Contest Prize
I will pick my 5 favorite submissions next week at 11:59 PM on Sunday November 2nd. The community will then have a week to vote between those 5 submissions and the current logo. People can submit any number of logos, but I will only pick a maximum of one per entrant for the vote.
Whoever's logo wins the vote at the end of the voting deadline will have their logo adopted as the new SEED logo and they will receive the 10,000 SEED prize.
If the current coin logo receives the most votes, then the 10,000 SEED will be divided evenly among the creators of the 5 other designs that were selected to be voted on, regardless of how many votes they received.
Well I didn't expect that. Not a single submission for this so far. Hmm. Well there's still 6 1/2 hours left if anyone's up for the challenge;) Worth a tweet from @SeedCoins? |

On another good note, Tranz and I have modified all the systems we've created to take all profit, sell it, and use it to resupport the coin with a buy wall.
What does this mean?
Every lottery ticket sold for 100 PINK, will have 50 PINK go to the jackpot, 25 to the charity and the other 25 will go to be sold on the market. Once they are sold, the BTC will than be placed at a specific location. For every poker hand played, the rake, on average 2%, will be sold and the BTC used to resupport.
The size of the buy wall depends completely on how much all the systems get used. The bigger the wall, the higher up it can be. The current plan for the buy wall, is to have it at a price where it can catch all the coins on the exchange. So right now, with about 85,000,000 PINK on the exchange, the buy wall would need to be 32BTC to have it at 40 SATs.
summary, no one makes any profit off of the systems built for Pinkcoin. In fact, the more the systems are used, the more valuable your Pinkcoin will become. Systems included, Twitter bot and poker.

where is Pink support? I need my problem to be solved
The Troll can make this thread less than inspiring at times (which is it's aim). The Pink devs do a great job and are always supportive, but I wouldn't blame them for checking in less frequently - the FUD is tiresome. Moving to a moderated thread or reddit might lead to a more appealing environment for discussion and support. What do people think? |

How's the #Pinkarmy today? I see a lot has happened in the thread over the last couple days. This is good  I will get caught up in a few days, just trying to wrap some things up. I'm just dropping in as Tranz and I have been working on some "spur of the moment" tools that were inspired by a few community members. SpockSkywalker started OPERATION: "CULTURE BOMB" recently, that targets some other coins communities. In his post he had mentionned that we shouldn't release anything new until we upgraded our status and size of community. This has been doing extremely well, and has already shown great results, and has gotten great support from the rest of the #pinkarmy. MikeTheMover had an emotional breakdown that spiraled into a world of drama and confusion for many. This could be seen as a negative event, and in the midst of it all, it even felt like one. However, his disappointment and upset lead us to question how we "expanded" into other coins. Yes, the deal supports another coin, it supports Pinkcoin, and most importantly, it supports our charity. At the same time, we shared our most unique and powerful feature that so many have come to know and love Pinkcoin for. These 2 events sparked the idea to turn our lottery bot into a "multipool". So as of right now, you can request a @pinkcoinlottery doge address, deposit Dogecoin and have it converted into Pinkcoin automatically.  This is fully functional as of right now, we are going to try and get this working for both LTC and BC. Thank you SpockSkywalker for your creative writings and putting the potential of targeting these other coins into light. Thank you MikeTheMover for being so dedicated and passionate about our project. Thank you to the rest of the #pinkarmy for being so damn badass. EDIT: Litecoin can now be exchanged for Pinkcoin.  Can you add this to the wallet? A tab to let you buy PINK with other currencies? Anything is possible. We have discussed incorporating the lottery into the wallet on multiple occasions. The problem with that right now is, that you need to link your wallet to your Twitter account. So far I believe the best solution is to make a website that allows all this and can than be added. Otherwise, we can look at adding it to wallet.pink which is already in your wallet. In short, yes we can, and will. Just have to figure it out still. Are you guys still working on "Pay with Pink"? Would the BTC/Fiat/Pink pools allow you to buy PINK with BTC or Fiat? It would be good to be able to buy PINK using PayPal from the wallet (or a website). |
