1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AC] AsiaCoin | Pure PoS | 100% Interest on: November 13, 2015, 03:19:50 PM
so it seems as if i have just lost 50,000 asia coins by trying to send them to cryptsy on a old wallet. Why hasn't the website been updated with the latest wallet ? you go to the website and it says that the latest wallet is 2.0.1.0 and then i go and troll through posts to find out there is a newer wallet WTF guys this is total bullshit, i have done nothing but lost money on this fucking coin, since the inception where it was delisted and had then the coins returned and the value drop to nearly nothing, then to spend the next year staking what i have cause it wasn't worth anything and now to try to transfer the coins and loose them because no one can take a few minutes to update the fucking website bunch of amateurs
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AC] AsiaCoin | Pure PoS | 100% Interest on: April 21, 2015, 01:22:40 PM
so i have the latest wallet, have finally got it synced up after a week or so and i have 56k coins unconfirmed ? WTF is going on ? looked at my transaction history and it looks like everything i have staked isn't confirming ?

What can be done to rectify this ? have like a 1/3 of my coins unconfirmed

        return "01000000010000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000fffff fff4d04ffff001d0104455468652054696d65732030332f4a616e2f32303039204368616e63656c 6c6f72206f6e206272696e6b206f66207365636f6e64206261696c6f757420666f722062616e6b7 3ffffffff0100f2052a01000000434104678afdb0fe5548271967f1a67130b7105cd6a828e03909 a67962e0ea1f61deb649f6bc3f4cef38c4f35504e51ec112de5c384df7ba0b8d578a4c702b6bf11 d5fac00000000"

the  if tx_hash_hex == "4a5e1e4baab89f3a32518a88c31bc87f618f76673e2cc77ab2127b7afdeda33b": is the merkle root, what i don't get is where this return "" number comes from ?

this is the link to the GitHub https://github.com/bitcoin-abe/bitcoin-abe/blob/master/Abe/genesis_tx.py

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer S5 (mining on your own network solo) on: February 22, 2015, 05:19:22 PM
it has been my experience that it is nearly impossible to get the newer antminers to solo mine since the new miners use stratum by default.

the only way i found of mining solo was to set up a p2pool server on my network and mine to it but be prepared for a lot of orphaned blocks, high stale rate

the other option is to mine here http://solo.ckpool.org/

good luck
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is UNB price on fire? on: February 01, 2015, 04:19:18 AM
Big Vern from Cryptsy mention UNB and Jim the developer in his BTC Miami speech which started the interest in the coin in the first place.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is UNB price on fire? on: January 31, 2015, 04:18:46 AM
This is not a POS coin with hyper inflation. This is a POW sha 256 coin built off of Bitcoin

The community has been growing over the last 10 months and people are starting to get behind the coin, It was recently added to Multipool, Coinwarz.

Since then it has been on a rise and now seems to have taken off, there are only 2 million coins in circulation and a growing difficulty which is helping to increase the price

there are approx 400,000 trading on the market which also increases the price

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / How to Solo mine with S3 on: January 20, 2015, 11:50:56 PM

11  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER C1 Discussion and Support Thread on: January 15, 2015, 06:13:45 AM

try to switch it to static ip ( give it a ip of 192.168.1.10 )and change the dns server to 8.8.8.8 and see if that works
12  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER C1 Discussion and Support Thread on: December 27, 2014, 05:31:29 AM
Someone asked if the fans would slow down if the temps were lower
My fans slow down to 1200 on 2 of my C1's and 1320 on the other when the temps are low ( 20c)

13  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER C1 Discussion and Support Thread on: December 11, 2014, 07:45:06 PM
after receiving my C1's and getting set up and hashing, which was a total breeze thanks to Doge's guide.I have had them running for a couple of days and i must say i am quite impressed with the hashing. Really consistent hashing

I had 5 S3's and none of them would has at the advertised hash rate, they would all be fine but after say 12 hours the hashing would drop off and the only way i found to get them to hash consistently was to lower them to 212.

After 3 days of running my C1's they are all hashing @ 1006 without any need of rebooting them.

Thanks really impressed
14  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Got a Block Erupter cube but can't get setup screen on: December 07, 2014, 06:40:38 AM
press and hold the reset button for a couple of seconds while the unit is running that will reset it back to the factory defaults
15  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: ASIC Block Erupter Cube, not working, hardware problem? on: August 30, 2014, 02:09:36 PM
i found that you need really robust power supplies to run the BE cubes.

I bought a couple of (forget name brand) power supplies (850's) that said that they had 35 amp on the 12V rail and they wouldn't even turn on one then i tried a 750 watt Thermal take power supply same issue wouldn't even power up the unit.

then we tried corsair CX600 and they powered up and ran fine.

These BE cubes will call out power supply manufactures bluffs when it comes to how much power they say they make on the 12V rails and what they actually do
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AC] AsiaCoin | Pure PoS | 100% Interest | Mandatory wallet update NOW! on: June 30, 2014, 02:39:43 PM
thanks ORiN, when i updated to the newest wallet i had had trouble with the block chain not updating and had deleted a few files to get the block chain going again and had to do a repair on the wallet to get it back in sync and lost all of my previous transaction history on the wallet so all i had seen since was the 4 failed stake payments and didn't realise i was jumping the gun on the stake payments
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AC] AsiaCoin | Pure PoS | 100% Interest | Mandatory wallet update NOW! on: June 30, 2014, 02:13:25 PM

I had 4 stakes that remained unconfirmed and rejected by the chain . You should be fine just using the repairwallet command in the console .  This will purge your stuck stakes and you will get new stakes swiftly probably higher than the previous ones , this has been my case with all stuck stakes . Don't move your coins around to keep them ready for staking . Since the update to the latest wallet and applying the repair command I had no trouble nor reason to complain , staking happened in good amount & in time .
[/quote]

i did the repair wallet command a week ago as well as yesterday trying to get it kick started, i haven't moved the coins since they were first deposited to the wallet after the stake announcement, guess i will trying it again and hope it works

btw thanks for responding
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AC] AsiaCoin | Pure PoS | 100% Interest | Mandatory wallet update NOW! on: June 30, 2014, 01:27:48 PM
I have a bunch of unconfirmed stake payments and after the forth unconfirmed payment the payments stopped on the 16th. Now i have gone through and updated the wallet to 2.0.0.0 (called 2.0.1.0)
block chain is up to date and has been running in this state for over a week

Any ideas anyone ?

If the coin isn't goin to stake then i am not going to keep it
19  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: PSU for ANT-Miner S1s on: May 23, 2014, 06:16:03 PM
i am currently running 2 Antminer S1's off of a Corsair 1050HX great power supply and it still leaves room to over clock and not run the power supply at 100% which kills them quickly

I have a friend that has 2 corsair 1050 hx's with 5 Antminer S1's plugged into them and they run fine on high clock speeds - 2.5 S1's on each power supply
20  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Assistance in config antminer s1 on: May 16, 2014, 12:21:59 PM
you could also go into your router and look at the dhcp tables and try some of the addresses listed there. I had the same problem when i purchased mine used and they weren't set to static ip addresses so i looked at the dhcp table and typed in a couple of the addresses till i found it, think i got it on the second attempt Good Luck
