1  Other / Politics & Society / Free speech and modern society. on: May 05, 2021, 02:50:07 PM
The late twentieth century saw free speech been given to the people, to some extent. This era has seen free speech thrive but free speech to what extent. The ongoing war between former US President Donald Trump and various social media have me question, to what level should free speech be allowed.
Should it still be given to someone that is clearly deceiving the people or it should be allowed?
2  Other / Off-topic / This generation is normalizing prostitution. on: May 05, 2021, 02:39:27 PM
No one is perfect but this generation is bringing the worst out of humanity. This generation has seen prostitution as a norm. It's safe to say they are in a nation's budget.  Like the recent video that surfaced online about a lady dancing naked, licking a dildo, and smoking not knowing the dad was around, fortunately for her the dad caught her and beat the heal out of her. Most parents won't do that but in times past you dare not think of that talk much of doing.
This generation is turning into something else. I fear for my kids tho' wonder what it would be like when they are grown.
Prostitution shouldn't be a norm in our society.
3  Other / Off-topic / Divorce, how can we stop it.? on: May 05, 2021, 01:31:31 PM
For many years many have wondered the real cause of a divorce could it be cheating, money, name them. We have sen it all.
Human beings are insatiable and the human mind?   Hmmm, we can't figure out the working mechanism of it. For a couple as rich and educated as bill and Melinda gates to divorce I don't no who can say the perfect plan to end divorce Is this.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Investing in bitcoins for future kids on: May 04, 2021, 06:46:45 PM
As a form of investment, many are buying cryptocurrency in smaller quantities and saving for their kids in the future. With the continuous rising and falling of the currency and the volatility of the market, how do we know the coins to buy and save for future use or is it a waste of money.
Need your thoughts on this tho'...
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Football clubs and bitcoins on: May 04, 2021, 05:44:37 PM
It's no news that some football clubs might consider paying players in bitcoins sooner rather later with the continued surge of the currency football clubs like Southampton and Tottenham have partnerships with some Bitcoin firms and Southampton plays could be paid bonuses in bitcoins.
Could this be the way forward for football clubs in the future

The car maker made more money from Bitcoin than car sales. Tesla’s profits hit $438m with nearly a quarter of that earning coming in Bitcoin sale.- "punch"
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Ethereum giving bitcoin a hard chase on: May 04, 2021, 11:41:50 AM
Bitcoin is gradually losing market value. At the start of this year, Bitcoin commanded about 70% of the total cryptocurrency market but with the continued surge of ethereum that has dropped to about 47%.
Earlier this week ethereum got to its all-time high after reaching 3,000 and it quickly got to 3200 yesterday which amount to 15% of the crypto market. Ethereum is giving bitcoin a hard chase as it is gradually dropping the market value of BTC. This is expected to continue as many investors are flooding to ethereum.
8  Economy / Economics / Africa needs to fix continent, richest people are politicians on: May 04, 2021, 11:05:12 AM
Forget Dangote and the rest of the billionaires, the richest people in Africa are politicians. Africans need to reevaluate and rethink their system, so much power is given to the politicians and without any checks or balances. How can an ex-governor not be tried in court for his mischievous activities because there is a written document that said so who signed the documents is it the populace? They loot millions of dollars and stack them up for their families whereas the masses are suffering.
They even go as far as banning the trading of cryptocurrencies because they feel people might benefit from it. When the world is enjoying it. African needs to be taken to the hospital and given proper treatment because they are moving backward. More strength to their youth as many are still thriving in the harsh environment.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Africa still leading in BTC trading despite government policies on: May 03, 2021, 08:45:54 PM
Despite various rules put in place by some African countries to discourage their citizens from trading cryptocurrencies, they are still thriving.
A statement released by "documenting bitcoin", reveals that Africa is leading the world in peer-to-peer bitcoin trading volume growth this year so far.
Giving the unfair condition of the market in Africa especially Nigeria where the government has banned financial institutions from engaging in the buying or selling of crypto, this comes as a surprise.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Bitcoin's domination of the crypto-market loosening on: May 03, 2021, 08:21:02 PM
The domination of bitcoin in the cryptocurrency market is loosening as investors are seeking to invest in other smaller cryptocurrencies. A large pool of investors is going towards ethereum as it hit 3k yesterday and many are projecting it to hit 10k before the year runs out.
BTC is undoubtedly the hottest cryptocurrency in the world and its market remains strong. But many still want other options and are going for the smaller coins as there are some with very good projections in the near future
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Towards a unified currency on: May 03, 2021, 03:03:17 PM
Have always wonder which currency would the world accept if only one currency was to be used. Maybe the dollar?, don't think so, The British won't tolerate that.
Cryptocurrency?. Maybe. Until the advent of cryptocurrency, I never thought that would be possible but it seems possible.
The world is not too far from a unified currency.
12  Other / Off-topic / Our body and the coronavirus on: May 03, 2021, 01:30:29 PM
When a virus finds its way into our body, our immune system unleashes an attack. It puts up a good fight and then stands down, or at least that's what it's supposed to do. Sometimes our system works so hard that it goes off the rays, immune cells start attacking healthy tissue, flood the lungs clot the blood cause vessels to leak, and shut down organs. Our own body wreaks havoc on itself.
It's called "the pseudo kin storm", And it takes a miracle to stop it.
Sometimes you think the storm has passed but then you realize you were just in the eye of it. " greys anatomy"
We must learn to take every day as it comes because we don't know what tomorrow brings. If I have learned anything from the coronavirus is to live one day at a time because even our own body can wreak havoc on it's self
13  Other / Politics & Society / Corona virus, man's biggest lesson on: May 03, 2021, 01:24:07 PM
If the human race hasn't had any lesson in our existence then the corona virus is our biggest lesson. It thought many what life is all about. It dealt many a blow, crumbled markets, economy, businesses, lives, and so on. The level of poverty and suffering after the coronavirus has never been seen. And to make matters worse, we are not even done fighting the coronavirus.
We say it's the second wave, we don't know  If the virus is in its first, second, or third mitotic phase, we don't even know what we are fighting right now. We only pray we've got it all figured out and what we have in store is enough to combat the virus.
14  Other / Politics & Society / How do we raise our kids in this kinda society on: May 03, 2021, 10:00:36 AM
Society nowadays doesn't seem like anything we grew up in, it's so complex and diverse that I can't help but wonder if this is where my kids are going to grow up and how do I manage.
While growing up fraudulent activities, prostitution, and others were seen as heinous crimes whereas today it is seen as a norm. How do I send my children out to society even with a thorough upbringing and not be afraid not knowing what society will through at them? It frightens me. Can't help but wonder.
15  Other / Politics & Society / Re: THE INEVITABLE GUEST (DEATH) on: May 02, 2021, 02:51:23 PM
Exactly I agree with you, indeed death is no man's friend, and  the human race fails to admit it, living a carefree life, I always say people should learn how to make accurate use of their time, because we won't be here for long, wealth and power or neither fame won't save you when death comes knocking.
