O/T Rant:

Was looking at buying a sports car for a bit of fun.
I had no idea road tax vehicle tax rules had become so complicated here in the UK until I spoke with the dealer today.

Who the fuck comes up with such a stupid system?
"Conservatives" my ass.

You pay a premium for the first year based on emissions, then a standard rate for subsequent years.
BUT if your car costs more than 40K (almost all nice cars now do), you have to pay an additional premium on top of the standard rate for the first 5 years,
but that first 5 years is counted from the second year onwards, not the first.

Also this is only if you buy a new car, for older cars there are different rules and you may only pay a flat rate.

I think for cars below 2017 you may have to pay lesser based on the current tax band system.

Maybe you can scan through this:

Yeah seriously, fuck that guy.

There is a YouTube video from 2013 (that I can't find now, probably been scrubbed) where a random guy asks him if Bitcoin is a good investment, to which Jim Cramer replies "No, absolutely not!"

FUCK FUCK THAT GUY.

I've seen enough.  The market obviously wants to end the year at $42069 and at this point I don't even think people should fight it.  Just let it happen.  Maybe Elon is having some fun or the overall market is just a bunch of wise guys.  Pretty crazy that it could be manipulated seemingly so easily to hit a price target for a joke, but here we are.  Makes you wonder what will happen when those big money folks want to manipulate the price to the moon...  It will be hang on tight time for sure.
The New Year era could be a big opportunity for the big folks making some plans to drag the price to a well comfortable position that will profit the smarts. Seating close to a bull in the farm yard trying to disclose my plans for the new era to her 😆.

70% of all bitcoin have not moved in over 1 year
30% of bitcoin have not moved in over 5 years
a large part of these are lost bitcoins
the rest are strong hands that learned a good lesson from FTX, banks and their own government

the us gov has borrowed $5 billion of new debt every single day in 2023

while the next halving is in 9 months!
Source

So many persons had been contemplating about the halving that is going to make the price of Bitcoin to skyrocket but only should they keep in mind that Holding is what is going to make  it worth waiting. It might also take more time for the halving to take place which could be more than the 9 months you are expecting.
I smile when I see my portfolio growing like a flower that is set for the sun rise.

I do not accept the idea of a newbie not sharing his or her own idea on how to invest in bitcoin or trying to advise a new investor on how to invest because many newbies here has been on the bitcoin world outside this bitcointalk forum and many people are a strong investor that has invested for a long time now so bitcointalk newbies that have been an investors can share there own lite knowledge about bitcoin, everyone in this forum should share there own ideas about bitcoin so others can aquare more knowledge.
Reading this make me sick and maybe op might be right but that does not mean that all newbies are ignorant of the cryptocurrency market. This is just a community where you can decide or not to create an account and participate in the community building and sharing different opinions. Not everyone is interested in this so if a newbie gives his own opinion about the general aspect of investment and what it could entails, that should be seen based on there knowledge and experience the person has so far not on the rank or level in the community.

No one should see a newbie as a juvenile writer or someone that has no concrete knowledge about some certain things, whether investment or not. If the community is opened to everyone so we should know that we're liable for anything we write here and going to bear the consequences if it's against the rules and it's guidelines.
Nice try op!

This is pretty soft for me to comprehend hahaha...Sec want everyone to be on there knees begging for soft sanctioning.
Sec is begging the judge to freeze Binance US account, Binance is pleading for the judge to drop that idea under the carpet...damn, absolutely irrational for me!

Who's going to win this case? I smell Gary had already taken a fishy move to create more chaos in the crypto sphere.
Need to sip some juice for more drama.
7  Economy / Economics / Billionaires keep losing billions of dollars why poverty rate is increasing on: January 29, 2023, 02:49:46 PM
I am always skeptical why billionaires are always losing huge amount of money in days while people are suffering. Last time I read in a new that Elon Musk loses upto 4 billions in just few hours and the other time he made close or more than that in days. Money that would be very hard for an employee or middle class business owners to make in a year.

If we take a look on the news we will see that billionaires loses upto 2 trillions dollar last year and this January we had been hearing about several loses from some of the world billionaires.

Last year I heard that Jeff Bezos loses up to 80 billion dollars and Mark Zuckerberg also loses close to that amount which is enough to allivate poverty from a continent. The cause of their lose is best known to them but I think the funds should have been used to help the poor rather than allowing the money to vanish in a thin air.

I have seen so many programs fro the masses especially to aid those that are in need. Some of these aid organisations do seek for donations from individuals, companies that are ready to help with funds. When we have billionaires losing huge amount of money every year, why not they use those money to help the poor rather than losing them

What really fucked France is their goal keeper,  the goal keeper didn't at all in saving goals. France played very well, if their was to be good I don't think Argentina would have won the game. The moment the game was leaving to penalties I already knew  France won't score much goals.

That should not be the excuse here please
They should have won that game earlier enough
Thuram missed so many chances honestly that last save gave Argentina energy
I think you have a point here. France had so many chances to have scored more than 3 goals during the match but I am very surprised how the match ended 3-3 when so may opportunities had been lost. I am not surprised because everyone depend on Mbappe to score which shouldn't be so.

The match had ended and Argentina had won the match so we don't need to agitate on how the mistakes was done because we all are humans. We are prone to make mistakes so I will like us to admit the outcome of the match.

This is why this world cup is so amazing to me. You know the team are very good but the keeper really tried but you know I can't even imagine him stopping Messi the Goat from scoring.
Mbappe is another Goat I am happy about. He was able to score 3 goals in one match to make France proud but the penalty was a mess from his team.

You know everyone has lapses and this is why we can never be perfect. Well the match has ended and I am happy to see very supporters if Argentina happy.
Let's be happy guys 🔥🔥🔥
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 18, 2022, 06:26:19 PM
I am patiently wait for how the penalty would go. This is one of the best world cup I have ever watched. Having scored 3-3 between the both team. Hahaha, France supporters and the Argentina supporters are in a big collision.

Messi must give me a goal which is very certain. I hope this miracle should happen and if Argentina can win this match, then so be it.

Bruh, this match is already over FFS
I have posted this for long dude....
Network had been killing here and I know many will think Maybe I am writing out of points or moreover the match had finished and I'm here writing about the match that had finished. Thank you dude 😎

I am very happy right now..... Messi just made me proud again becoming the re Goat. I am fucking proud of Messi 😊

13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't trade your Bitcoin like Laszlo Hanyecz on: May 31, 2022, 09:10:23 AM

Laszlo Hanyecz very much made into the Bitcoin history book as one of the first to prove that BTC can be used like an ordinary money. Now, had I been in his place i would not just buy pizza but also some coffee and maybe eve donuts with my BTC mined. We have many things to thank this man for taking the risks and for finding that pizza patrol for the transaction. And that is why we have an annual Bitcoin Pizza Day to honor the event, honor the man and honor Bitcoin. I am wondering what kind of pizzas were bought back then...
In the history of bitcoin we don't know the identity of Satoshi. Atleast we've seen the person who have given value to the marvelous innovation. He mentioned it was two large pizzas. I would like to remind people not to donate anyone requesting in the name of Laszlo Hanyecz. Came across a Twitter account requesting donation.

This is ridiculous looking at the picture of the name of the man that sold 10,000 Bitcoin for two big Pizza. When he sold his Bitcoin for pizza he would have thought that he is on the right track and so lucky but time was able to prove him wrong. This is of the reasons why we should not take things for granted. We don't know what the price of Bitcoin would be in the next few years coming.
Hold your coin and keep it save, time might gives you a triple value.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Don't trade your Bitcoin like Laszlo Hanyecz on: May 22, 2022, 01:28:06 PM
Well, today is the main celebration of the Bitcoin Pizza day. May 22 marks the 12th anniversary of Bitcoin Pizza Day, a day when the cryptocurrency was used in a real-world transaction for the first time.

I'll pay 10,000 bitcoins for a couple of pizzas.. like maybe 2 large ones so I have some left over for the next day.  I like having left over pizza to nibble on later.  You can make the pizza yourself and bring it to my house or order it for me from a delivery place, but what I'm aiming for is getting food delivered in exchange for bitcoins where I don't have to order or prepare it myself, kind of like ordering a 'breakfast platter' at a hotel or something, they just bring you something to eat and you're happy!

I like things like onions, peppers, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, pepperoni, etc.. just standard stuff no weird fish topping or anything like that.  I also like regular cheese pizzas which may be cheaper to prepare or otherwise acquire.

If you're interested please let me know and we can work out a deal.

Thanks,
Laszlo

Almost 12 years ago, a Floridian programmer named Laszlo Hanyecz was craving pizza. So, he bought two. But the catch here is, that he paid in Bitcoin in the first-ever recorded real-world transaction using crypto.

Hanyecz announced on May 18, 2010, that he planned to use Bitcoin to buy pizza, preferably two large pies. He was willing to pay 10,000 Bitcoin to anyone who could place an order, collect the cryptocurrency, and bring it to him.

Days passed and Hanyecz was still unable to find anyone who was willing to take up his offer. He was losing hope. But then, on May 22, Jeremy Sturdivant, a 19-year-old at the time, started turning heads on the forum. He accepted the offer of 10,000 Bitcoin for two pizzas, valued at around $41 back then.

Sturdivant purchased the two pizzas and delivered them to Hanyecz’s place in Florida. Laszlo Hanyecz posted on the forum that he had received the pizzas and shared the following photograph with his family.

A big lesson
Do you know your Bitcoin asset can worth more than you could ever image in time? Hodl and buy more since price is down and await the future to decide.

Everyone thinks I'm wrong but actually, the truth is better. I can't argue with anyone but I am going to drop facts why trading should be the last thing we should ever thing about.

¶ You can make money now but you'll lose it tomorrow.
¶ Your strategies only work for a limited time.
¶ You cannot always be a winner.
¶ Your can't beat the market maker.
¶ The whales are the real traders so going against them is total lose.
¶ 80% of traders are losers; maybe it's not yet time for you.
¶ Your trading has no guarantee, you will lose that profit soon.
¶  Trading is not gambling, it is technical gambling lol.

16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Does trading really works? Likely based on guesses on: April 16, 2022, 06:46:14 PM
I have been seeing people talking and writing about trading like they never made losses showing different techniques the upcoming traders can use to trade and make money. I always see people arguing about strategies, the right chart for a particular trend, where likely the direction of Bitcoin tend go, and so many boring writeup. I keep asking if these so call traders actually makes money from trading. If you guys actually make money from trading then where are the losers?

Pardon me if I may ask, does trading really works? Hmm...looking at the cloud for possible comprehension! I think trading is just a mere guesses of what the outcome of the market direction may be. I do see traders using trendlines to guess the direction of Bitcoin and most time their guess fails. If trading works why is their few traders than holders? Please I don't intend to go against trading or our so called traders but I'm very surprised seeing so much writeups about trading even when there is nothing to write home about.
Everyone comes to the trading board and write to show knowledge but not result. Their are 10 profitable traders out of 1000 traders in the real world. Maybe I'm drunk!

why I think trading does not works and it's based on guesses

1) 80% of traders are losers. Many do brag on being traders but they don't make money from it.
2) Trading is based on luck: you might be lucky making good profits in trading at the beginning, but later you'll pay for it.
3) Those strategies can not stand the test of time: Your strategy might be giving you good profit now, but how long can it last?
4) If your strategy is giving you money so why are you selling it: You'll see something like "Enrol for my trading master class for the sum of $500 and become a consistent profitable trader, only 10 seats available" it sucks!
5) If you are making money, so whose money are you gaining?
6) You cannot always be a winner: you'll forgotten that what goes around comes around.
7) Trading is gambling: Trading is based on guesses with the use of trading tools that can help you use past events or data to guess what will happen in the future.
Cool Most traders are scared of trading: If you are scared of losing, you can as well use the fund to buy Bitcoin and hodl. Save yourself from stress!
9) Trading platforms want your money: All those exchanges that provide trading services need your money for maintenance of their portfolios.
10) Trading does not guarantee profit: Traders always post their profits but are scared of showing their losses. Trading is difficult, you can only become a winner through luck.

If trading truelly works so why the speculation, It's like the game of throne.

17  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: April 05, 2022, 11:38:51 AM
Russian soldiers attacking Ukrainian soil is generally unacceptable. The attack was not a good one, and I don't know the reason why they decided to attack their own neighboring country. The worse part is the attack on civilians which is against the rules of war. Attacking residents and innocent people is not a good way of fighting war. The Russian soldiers need to stop that act that is capable of bringing more heavy sanctions on them.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If you can sell Bitcoin on Exchange with good rate, why selling to resellers on: September 14, 2021, 02:38:56 AM
@Tranthidung...i'm pointing at selling Bitcoin outside exchange where the reseller gain mostly and the seller end up forfieting some dollars just because of low selling rate. Almost all resellers do go for rate that are lower than the general/exchange rate just to make profit out of the transaction.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / If you can sell Bitcoin on Exchange with good rate, why selling to resellers on: September 14, 2021, 01:52:42 AM
I have noticed people selling there bitcoin to resellers who will buy low and sell high making  few profits from what they bought from others. They do make frequent Bitcoin transactions selling to people that are urgently in need of it with bigger profits especially when the transaction is large. Exchanges had made Bitcoin transactions easier through peer to peer trading with an obvious rate which will be more profits to sellers when they sell through exchanges than when they sell to resellers who later sell to the public.

I had sold my Bitcoin before at a low rate lower than exchange rate which I later regret because I was new to crypto and doesn't have a better knowledge of selling to an exchange. Some people still prefer selling their Bitcoin to resellers which I will like to know. I use to have the feeling that selling to them may shorten the overall amount that one has to receive because they will need to sell it to others make there own profits.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Billionaire Investor call for crypto regulation on: September 14, 2021, 01:08:02 AM
if he weren't scammed by a defi project he wouldn't be calling this regulation. i have not read anything about Cuban trying to go after the scammer to recover his funds, why?

going after the scammers-criminals i think is a lot easier than regulating crypto. he should know that anyone with a skill can create a token and then list it on a market. the internet is open for everyone just as cryptocurrencies are.
Many things are happening in the market and frequent perusing of coin to invest in is very important cos if care is observed  many scammers with feak and useless projects will end up being billionaires while the common investors will go home been broke.
