Has the thing happened, ya know the important thing on today of all days, that one thing, the thing of things?
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / ETFs the silent transaction killer on: September 05, 2025, 12:50:15 AM
First of all this isn’t an original idea, I read something somewhere and will definitely go pull the source. The general theme was that as paper bitcoin increase(etfs, dats etc) there will be less circulating bitcoin and thus transactions fees will be impacted negatively. It sounds plausible, I’m a bit stuck on the a holder is a holder no matter where they are self custody or third party, but do you think this will have cause transactions to drop off over time as more adoption happens on the paper side?

We are now in the annoying phase where everyone who knows you have bitcoin but doesn't themselves tells you how they would have sold at the top and been rich. Which they didn't because, as previously stated, they don't have bitcoin.

Aye but it’s also a confirmation that the face rip is on us. I have been looking forward somewhat smugly(ngl) for the fomo phase. I’m absolutely gonna refrain from the I told you so narrative but I’m quite looking forward to saying it my head. To be fair I have been quietly whispering it since we broke above the 200wma but I definitely would like to have a proper shout about it too.

...

They found my mother in her bathroom unconscious.

Doctors said shes braindead it will take few days till 2 weeks.

...
...

I'm heartbroken, crying, don't know what to say.

A wall of observation of different opinions!
What if you wake up tomorrow morning and see Bitcoin at $200k? What will be your expression?

Would be nicely surprised, then watch it dip to 195k, and then get really impatient that it hasn’t gone back to 200k while I’m here WO’ing  Grin

Bitcoin versus gold ownership in the United States according to a new report from River

I object to bitcoin being made gold, it’s clearly not gold!
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: Discretionary Income vs Emergency Funds: Why It Matters for Bitcoin Investing on: July 20, 2025, 01:51:03 PM
I disagree on the emergency funds piece but also agree too. Ahhh a conundrum what do I mean lol. It comes down to the maturity of your emergency fund.

I agree 100% with you based on early maturity of your emergency fund covering your life expenses for 3months(minimum) It should just cover your basic needs for that time period. It shouldn’t be used for bitcoin investments.

Where I disagree, again relates back to maturity. Over time you may increase your emergency fund for example extending it to 6,9,12,18 months of $ saved, at some points in the future. When you have maturity in your emergency fund you can start to figure out basic to comparative living $ needs. It happens naturally and you might account for other expenses above basic living coverage. So I absolutely disagree that you can’t use your emergency fund for buying bitcoin( like dca amount) in sense that if you account for it as something over basic living coverage and have that maturity in your funds. Personally I only started to think about extra over basic living things once my emergency fund reached 6 months.

As an example say you have 18 month coverage in your funds. Now you got a decision to make if say you lost your job. Do you do basic living for 24months or comparative living for 18months(with a btc dca).

Great write up by the way thanks for sharing, I enjoyed reading it!

12  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for July on: July 02, 2025, 02:00:47 AM
I think so, I’m just as happy for it to range while I dca but I feel that we are going to climb soon(tm), wouldn’t be overly surprised to see 115k+ sometime within July
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: July 02, 2025, 01:57:39 AM

I doubt that you are making any meaningful and/or important point OrbitalX - since the ways that guys use either term would depend upon the context inht which he is using such term... so at first there were guys who were seeming to proclaim that guys should not be investing into bitcoin unless they have a steady income (which they might have had referred to as a source of income or source income.. either way).

Something else to ponder here, I don’t necessarily agree with you can’t invest in bitcoin if you have no income source. When you consider your emergency funds include your dca amount as per the term; 3,6,9,12,18 etc months of funding/living. Technically you don’t have an income but you planned for the worst and can continue to DCA too with the emergency funds include kicking in, in your time of need.

Nice!  You got it.  Sorry I took so long to reply but I was celebrating with the in-laws.  Back bacon, bannock, bison burgers, beer and for dessert, blueberry crisp, butter tarts and beavertails...served with Chapman's ice cream of course.

 God save the King!

It is British best of season stuff atm; Glasto, Wimbledon and the Chelsea flower show. I’m still waiting for bitcoin garden, utterly shocked there hasn’t been one

16  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Israel and Iran go to war, what will happen to crypto assets? on: June 25, 2025, 05:08:15 AM
On June 13, Israel launched a large-scale airstrike on Iran, causing the crypto market to fall sharply, with Bitcoin falling below $103,000. How is the war going? Will the crypto market continue to fall or rebound from the bottom?

origin topic site: https://bitbbs.bitsoul.xyz/topic/6853d139c3ba499d41e5895b
Even though the price of bitcoin decrease to hit bearish season now, I think it is time for such thing to happen, but not because of the war between Israel and Iran, Hope you know that Israel and Iran are not the founder of bitcoin or crypto, they don't have the influence to make the price of bitcoin to start decreasing when it is not time for bearish season. The price of bitcoin will not continue to decrease because there are some signs in the market, that will make this bullish season to reach December ending before the price of bitcoin will start decreasing to enter bearish season.

Eh bearish wtf you smoking!?! The atl in this cycle was ~16k and here we are sitting pretty at ~6x that, and that’s just if your in this cycle. All this shit going on is just noise. We are in the increasing stage not the fucking reducing phase and don’t be spouting shit about it’s dropped 3% or even 5%, take that shit away from 600+% and it’s still bullish
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 25, 2025, 04:36:44 AM
I’m just sitting here, content you know content in the knowledge that things are gonna be better. The world can move and do so many things but there is one constant “tick tock another block” and all the stuff that’s going on the good the bad the ugly just drowns out that eternal metronome but it always comes back.

I’m just happy to be alive, all these fuckwits in power across the globe tho be threatening Greyhats peace. Can’t we all just get along ffs.

But who cares time goes by another fucking drama, another shit show another distraction but ultimately tick tock.
