Can we have the link to the review by Earlz? Thanks. I've invested roughly 1btc in this coin. looking forward to this
ugh. I really hate this overdone DOGE meme... Despite this, the code is impeccable darkshibe https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=833133.0
Heritage: perfect clone from shadowcash
Problems:
Notes:
good checkpointed premine and even stake modifier stuff properly checkpointed good genesis seed is news event from 1 day before launch good even copyrights for shadowcoin are maintained and not lazily renamed like usual
Mining began at correct time, 1 extra (0 coin block) mined but that doesn't matter
coin supply is correct and premine percentage
Watermarks: uint64_t, pos, lz4

We have to tell then, that this multipool was throwing 50 Ghash at the network at last Hardfork, so we could not get through the blocks. I can tell you all we could bite out tongues for not shouting like maniacs. Instead we took the quiet way and this hard-fork is the result. No multipool is going to tell us what to do ever again. Now the team can focus on the real deal and move on with the dev.
Thanks guys for your patience, it has been a struggle.
Wow. Amazing to hear what goes on behind the scenes. I am very impressed with how your team approached and resolved the issue with the multipool. Keep up the great work!

what do you mean with bonus coins? Looks like your first opinion about the coin being a scam was right. The discrepancy between the block explorers and coin market cap was real.

I don't understand why people don't get it..
*sigh*
Again.. Everyone LOOK at the OP:
20 M max POW Coins
5,000 blocks x 4,000 coins ... How much is that ? Do the math yourself..
We still have some PoW blocks left, but not much, after all 5,000 PoW Blocks are mined, we have reached exactly the amount of POW coins which are stated in the OP ..
POS ALWAYS gives MORE coins .. thats the way it is designed.. you remember that 1% annualy.. or 3% or 10 % etc.. ??
What you are asking for is a POW ONLY coin which ENDS after block 5,000 without any more coins...
EDIT: ifightformerkel should get a award for perfect fudding and posting nonsense in big fat red letters
If thats the case, are you saying PoS has produced an additional 9 million coins in 2 days? According to your block explorer and coinmarket cap we see current coin count of 27 million.

Block explorer currently 18644998.20237726 outstanding coins. http://explorer.ghostcoin.org/chain/GhostCoinCoinmarket cap is calculating the number of outstanding coins incorrectly. It is taking the total of combined PoW + PoS blocks and multiplying them by the reward amount. It should only take the total pow coins and multiply that by 4000. The official block explorer will show you the correct amount.

Holy fucking shit... At this current net hash rate and difficulty, it currently costs 1k per coin to mine.

Diff retarget time of 1.5 days is killing the coin. We are currently on block 12820 and from what I understand the diff is set to change every 864 blocks (1.5 days) which means the next block change is at 12960.
With the average time to resolve a block currently at 2.6 hours, we are currently looking at 15 days for us to reach the next diff change.
Of course once we get to the next diff change, the diff drops and megahash comes in raising the difficulty again for the next block change, which will again take another 2-3 months to switch when the hash rate drops against the raised difficulty. At the current block solve times, the coin is extremely slow to send and confirm.
LTCD went through a similar issue, and the issue was resolved by implementing dynamic diff retargeting which was only achieved through a hard fork. I believe the dev's need to do the same thing.

For now there are 161 CEO buyers with 32000 arch each =5 152 000 141 sales with 16 000 = 2 256 000 101 HQ with 8 000 = 808 000
total 8 216 000 out of 16,180,339 will be hodl. At least for the beginning this coins will not hit the exchanges. Good numbers huh?
Not to mention people in the Sales and HQ category will most probably want to increase their holdings to get to the CEO category, as well as existing CEO's wanting to increase their own holdings. I am currently in the CEO category and I am chomping at the bit to buy more on the open market. With news pending from BTCArchitect regarding the progress of various projects coinry, moby, ihash etc. once distribution is complete, I believe we have all the elements brewing for the perfect storm!

Will you be doing a POD via cryptoasian or coinsource?
This is minimum requirement as there have been too many scam coins lately with viruses in the wallet.

holy crap.. a bomb just burst at bitrex Awesome! Makes you wonder how high we would have gone yesterday with the massive sell walls removed! On a serious note, what do we need to do to get past block 36999? I have 200 Mhs of scrypt gear I can direct to a pool to help with getting over the hump. Would mining at bestpool be the best way to help at this point?

We already have a few additional changes and modifications planned. I will not, however, keep up this development pace. The next few updates will likely contain only bug fixes and some core restructuring and unless something else is requested with such massive community demand, will not hard fork again until 1.3.0. This is yet another reason lowering the block reward was preferable. The longer the coin can be mined, the more time I can spend testing actual feature additions as opposed to chasing down problems. This is a community coin, and while ultimately I am responsible for what goes into the code, I do not make the decisions behind it. I rather enjoy working on it in this fashion. Thanks for the update. I appreciate all the work you and your team have done for the coin. I will continue to mine the coin irrespective of the block rewards to help secure the network and for the fact that I truly believe in this coin and that comes from my strong belief in you and your team. Keep doing what you are doing! You are doing great work - I look forward to seeing how the coin develops in the future.
