9  Bitcoin / Mining support / CPU miner manuel transactions or fee settings? on: May 24, 2014, 05:01:30 PM
Is there a way to set a minimum transaction amount for your client to solve or solve certain transactions? this would be very useful so you can chose if you only accept transactions with a certain miners fee or only accept a manual set transaction?
For minerd.exe
10  Bitcoin / Mining support / Plz i made a mistake and added a 1 sat mine fee can someone confirm it? on: May 24, 2014, 11:54:29 AM
I made the biggest mistake ever and made a 1 satoshi mining fee and its not getting confirmed and i was wondering if anyone would be nice enough to confirm my transaction?

I never really got into the whole vanity btc address thing.

Is there a certain benefit from it? like getting transactions faster? besides the whole personalization part..??

I went to the github program for vanitygen but I dont get how to install lol. Even after reading the "read me" section.

Just a name not much else

Like this address: https://blockchain.info/address/1NxaBCFQwejSZbQfWcYNwgqML5wWoE3rK4
It has a name and I was wondering how they do this?

You can add tags for your addresses in blockchain.info wallet page, or add tags for any addresses in this page. https://blockchain.info/tags
Now how do I remove a tag?

AFAIK, you can't. Wink
If you really want to do that, try sending a support ticket to blockchain.info.

I sent a request to blockchain.info asking them to remove my name and they never did.

At one point, blockchain.info scraped this site and associated user names with bitcoin addresses in signatures. They might still be doing that.

They did that automatically without asking permission?  Shocked
They are but people could use that in a bad way. If you go on the tag page when you are adding a tab it has a whole list of bitcointalk usernames and BTC adds
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unable to post on: May 22, 2014, 02:49:28 PM
I keep trying to post here. Whenever I do, I get an error saying something like "The last posting from your IP was less than 360 seconds ago. Please try again later." This is true even if I haven't posted at all.

Then, when I try posting again, it said "You already submitted this post! You might have accidentally double clicked, or tried to refresh." and wouldn't let me post it.

Unfortunately, despite all that, it doesn't look like my post was submitted at all. It still says I have 0 posts in my profile, and I can't post anywhere but here. So I'm trying again. :|
You are not the only one it's annoying me to!
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Urls next to BTC addresses on: May 22, 2014, 02:35:50 PM
Are those tags just visible on the blockchain.info website?

Yes. It is just a feature offered by the site blockchain.info.
I know I can dd my bitcointalk but it keeps saying invalid url?

Is this still stuck or no?
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Transaction_fees#Sending There is quite some information there, I have a transaction that is stuck for weeks. You can try to double spend it and you will receive the coins back.
Just busy downloading the block chain for my desktop wallet.
Then I'll fix the prob!
Still stuck
