1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do YOU sell? on: July 19, 2017, 05:44:41 AM
I will sell my Bitcoin if the market value of Bitcoin is good. Otherwise, I will wait for some more days. All said that the price of the crypto currency will increase in the next month. There is no accurate information from the marketers, so I have to wait for a right time to get profit.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can bitcoin be used for regular transactions.. on: July 08, 2017, 04:28:39 PM
Bitcoin transactions are divisible. A satoshi is one hundred millionth of a bitcoin, and it is possible to send a transaction of a smallest value of satoshi on the bitcoin network. so we can use bitcoins for regular transactions form any country irrespective of the currency value of that particular country.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: July 06, 2017, 03:41:32 PM
Less than 10 members are contacted me to know about the bitcoin. I explained its benefits, usage and what i have learned from others completely. Really i surprised, 5 members interested in technology.

My family, they dont have any idea about bitcoins but some of my friends they are kind of interested and ask me about bitcoins. I like talking and educating  my friends on this topic.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: July 04, 2017, 05:20:01 PM
Many people have known bitcoin lately and many of the world's policymakers already know about digital currencies like Bitcoin, but many of them have not made laws or legal rules about digital currencies because of the complexity of digital currencies like Bitcoin.
Therefore, from late 2013 to 2014 many warnings and directives from central banks and financial policy-making authorities in various countries have warned that Bitcoin has not been recognized by the state as an investment asset, instrument of payment, or a legitimate currency. Some of the institutions are anxious about the stability of the country's financial system, if large-scale adoption of Bitcoin occurs.
But as time passes, some countries begin to look at Bitcoin and digital currencies with different perspectives, and try to impose rules on the digital currency. Typically, regulation is not something that all parties support. But in the case of Bitcoin, regulation is a gift. Bitcoin regulation is something that the Bitcoin community has around the world.

Each country has its own rules and laws. If everyone starts using bitcoin in the country the government would be in loss because the country wont get enough taxes and etc. Their will be a great loss in the country's economy. That is the reason some countries are not supporting bitcoin.

Pascal coin? is this coin written in Pascal? I almost forget this language, lol. The dev should be a really old guy then... someone wants to create a basic-coin using BASIC language? or fortran-coin, or cobol coin?

Unfortunately by reading the thread, I don't think Griffith knows enough to take over, but I don't mind if he does trial and error type development, he can become expert maybe in the future. There are way too few good devs for altcoin, and probably if there are they will do their own. Supercoindev is certainly one of the very best.

and for those who said it is not an anonymous system, do a transaction and try to figure out the source, it is not difficult. The system uses random nodes to create multisig address, so when there are enough participating nodes, you will not be able to pinpoint the source. Also it is easy to use a random address from each party to create the multisig address, I did not implement it due to time constraint, but it is trivial to do so. All explaned in the whitepapers.

Anyway, no more jokes, I won't have time to answer them.

yes you did a great job, though I don't understand all the code, I know it works fine with my client Smiley

Most likely what transpired in Supercoindev's mind is this.  "So they actually found a DEV team not just a single inexperience wannabe DEV. " I did say I will not release source code into the public but I'll release it to a DEV that the Supercoin community finds only after we have a one on one chat.  The DEV just needs to understand coin code."  I will change my mind with consulting with the supercoin community and release the source code to everyone!  "No private chat in irc or on the bitcointalk forum."  I should mention something that can help define exactly what qualifications for a qualified DEV for Supercoin but I simply won't since no one but me can understand it HAHAHAHA!!"  I think a ceratin part of the Supercoindev's mind wants Supercoin to fail because he won't get the sole credit for it anymore.  Remember both Supercointeam and Supercoindev blamed the Supercoin community!  Ever since the fork issue the Supercoindev and Supercointeam lost interest.  Things get tough and they were willing to let the fork continue and to let all the exchanges drop Supercoin and maybe look into the Chinese exchanges!  I appreciate everything technical that Supercoindev and supercointeam provide us.  They did plenty of bad as well.  Like vindictive teenagers!

They may have created the best cryptocurrency since Satoshi created Bitcoin but their mindsets would have destroyed Supercoin before it was even 6 months old!  I am glad we don't have to depend on them as our solely DEV and management again.

because too many people behave like you, that certainly discouraged supercoindev and supercointeam to continue. Whatever they do, you will blame them. They spent big time creating a unique coin and helped the community, and now they released the whole codebase to public, in hope to advance the altcoin technologies. All they did is to help the coin, why people like you only do the opposite, a very sad situation...

I have my supercoin wallet working correctly. I have my wallet.dat backed up. I replace the wallet.dat that is newly created with my backup and run the wallet. When it loads it still shows a balance of zero coins. Can somebody help me figure out how to get my coins back? 1,000 supercoin to the first person to help me. Thank you!

just exit the client, copy the correct wallet.dat back to the config dir, and restart the client, you'll be fine.

make sure you keep your correct backup in the safe place and don't erase it Grin

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN] Mandatory Upgrade V.3.1.1 or V.1.6.1 on: September 12, 2014, 07:35:31 PM
Did Satoshi do the POD? Did it prevent Bitcoin from being accepted by the community?

What a non-sense to ask for POD, you think to show a picture of a few pig heads will change anything? Or let someone who has no credibility in coin space know your identity will change anything? Did you see some coins said they have 1 mil assets to back it up, or have gold to back it up? Do you believe any of these? It is pure hype and marketing and try to cheat a few BTCs from "investors".

The quality of a coin depends on the technical quality and the marketing of the coin. I think the dev team of this coin is a 5, from what they delivered. But on the marketing side, they did not do great, it's probably because these guys are mainly tech people. We need some good marketing skill people to take over the lead of this coin and community.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN]First P2p Decentralized Trustless Anonymous Wallet New Thread on: August 20, 2014, 06:49:21 AM

I,m quite sure the main reason for the resent drop in the price of Supercoin was directly caused by the thread started labelled -
supercoin is fundamentally broken

Stated in the thread is
"this thread was started because you have idiots in your community that picked a stupid fight against the XC community (which is 10x larger than Super's) and spread FUD about our coin and  this thread was more of a retaliation."

When this thread was most active, the price started dropping hard, which shows that some people believed instantly what was said there. Which shows how easily people can be caused to sell off through being scared that something was wrong.

For others it has been a great buying opportunity.

There is no need to be insecure about this coin. Just look at what is being accomplished. And as with any altcoin only put into it what you can afford to lose as all altcoins are a high risk. And with high risk, it can also equal high reward.

Supercoin has much to offer, and like I have said before I expect all this trading to look like a flat line on future exchange graphs.

The anonymous decentralization, and the speed is of great importance, as the tech becomes more understood, and if all goes well as it seems to be then the sky is literally the limit.

I mean this coin is trading for 1 or 2 cents each. Think about it.

XC has a big fud team, they tried nasty ways against supercoin, because someone pointed out their claims of multisig is not true and praised supercoin tech (they actually never saw their own XC multisig address before - see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=742025.0). supercoin dev team is not related to this at all.

The unfortunate thing is that the fuds seem working, and many people don't understand the technologies believed their fuds. But truth is truth, people will understand the value and this new multisig technology and how significant it is.

Question regarding SuperSend Trustless.

If I have 1000 SUPER and want to send ALL of it to someone via trustless anon. Is that possible?
Or can only 50% (minus fee) of what you have can be send via trustless anon? (due to escrow)
Yes it is possible, there can be no limits in the future QTs, because we are in test period, we limited it as 1000 SUPERs.

The algorithm requires wallet have 2 times the amount of send, otherwise you need to use the regular send. This is a limitation I guess.
