People are losing sight of the fact that, actually, any $ that has been lost, was lost by the previous dev team. When CN rescued this coin it was basically worthless, so your money was already gone. CN and Bminer could've just taken the source for this dead coin, called it something new, and started over. Instead they rebranded the coin and brought it back from the dead, giving everyone a fair shake at exchanging old coins for new. People need to take a little personal responsibility here, you're invested in crypto currency, not the S&P 500, you have to check up on these things daily. It's hard to feel bad for people who admittedly didn't check this thread, the website, or Twitter for weeks on end. Weeks are like years in this world.
