1  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What places do you do your shopping online? on: November 05, 2017, 06:36:07 PM
We run CoinRebates, a rewards program that lets you earn bitcoin rebates for shopping at more than 300 online stores. We want to know which stores you often shop so we can put more emphasis on them, or if they are not already partnered with us, we know to reach out to them.

Popular stores:

All stores: http://www.coinrebates.com/stores/all

Stores accepting bitcoin: http://www.coinrebates.com/stores/bitcoin-accepted

Stores we cannot add: Amazon, eBay
I do my shopping in Amazon, eBay and pay through my local currency. Need to start purchasing through bitcoin. Waiting to get experienced with bitcoin trasactions.
2  Economy / Gambling / Re: [POLL] Best Dice of 2015 on: December 14, 2015, 03:33:34 PM
PrimeDice has no invest feature that I can see, meaning it's just making a single person very rich.

My vote goes to Just-Dice and bitdice.me

For what it's worth I've been using giftoff for years (back when it was pock.io) and never had any problems. Converted Doge and BTC to Amazon gift cards and it's an extremely easy/quick process.

Thank you caga... and damn fille, that doesn't bode well!
5  Economy / Gambling / Re: [SHUTTING DOWN] [DiceBitco.in | BE THE BANK ! | 1% House Edge] on: November 12, 2014, 01:53:21 PM
Thanks redsn0w... yes, I have, but haven't heard back unfortunately.

finnile, do you mean they fabricated the entire thing to make it look like they paid out 169 BTC, but actually just transferred it to their own address?!
6  Economy / Gambling / Re: [SHUTTING DOWN] [DiceBitco.in | BE THE BANK ! | 1% House Edge] on: November 12, 2014, 11:02:52 AM
Thank you guys, I've probably lost in total 70% of my total BTC to sites like this... makes me feel a bit sick just thinking about it, and how stupid I've been by not learning my lesson Smiley The EveryDice owner at least was a good guy and kept in regular communication with me, and I did get my remaining invested amount back (even though it was a small fraction of my total investment after 1DiCe hit them) - I haven't given up hope on these sites either, though I'm not getting any communication from any of them.

I had invested 22 BTC total deluxeCITY - I lost around 10 BTC to mateo but the remaining amount is still invested and it won't let me divest.

Yup, emailed a couple of times but haven't heard back.

You'd have thought I would have learnt my lesson now, but nope... I've now lost coins at EveryDice, Reddking, Mintpal, DiceBitco.in and probably others. Sigh.
8  Economy / Gambling / Re: [SHUTTING DOWN] [DiceBitco.in | BE THE BANK ! | 1% House Edge] on: November 11, 2014, 10:56:23 AM
I thought that'd be the case Sad Thanks guys.
9  Economy / Gambling / Re: [SHUTTING DOWN] [DiceBitco.in | BE THE BANK ! | 1% House Edge] on: November 11, 2014, 09:05:20 AM
I had 12 BTC here... is it pretty safe to say I'm never getting it back? Sad
10  Economy / Gambling / Re: EveryDice.com | 0.99% Edge - Instant Cashout - Invest - Referral - Mobile - Fair on: August 21, 2014, 08:49:01 AM
Well, for what it's worth since the code has been sold to a third party, there's a very good chance we'll see Everydice back in some form or another soon Smiley
11  Economy / Gambling / Re: EveryDice.com | 0.99% Edge - Instant Cashout - Invest - Referral - Mobile - Fair on: August 20, 2014, 11:06:38 AM
Okay, so I've got some really surprising but awesome news! http://everydice.com/

It seems like after a few months (I can't believe this all happened back in May!) Ed has finally managed to secure a buyer for the site/code, and the site is now refunding any coins owed to players. I have received all of the funds that were in my Everydice balance.

Here's the full update:

Quote
Since EveryDice was closed, few people were trying to contact us and offer to buy the whole site and code. Few weeks ago we finally made a deal with one of them.

The coins we got from selling the site will be used to reimburse players and investors of EveryDice. Until today, we have settled most withdrawal from investors and players that have contacted us, including 1DiCe1.

To those who still have their balance left in our site, please send email to everydice.withdrawal@hushmail.com, and write down your:
  • Username
  • Encrypted password hash using Bcrypt (http://www.bcrypt-generator.com)
  • Withdrawal address
  • Message signed with one of your previous deposit / withdrawal address if you either have more than 1 BTC in your account or you have 2FA enabled
  • Estimated withdrawal amount (optional). We will send the coins in your account after we validated your information.

We sincerely apologize for all that happened during the last few months. EveryDice is over, but hopefully we can be remembered as a site that boost Bitcoin popularity, not the one that give bad reputation to it. We also want to thank all parties, players, and investors that trust and support us this far.
I know it's been a pretty rough few months, probably for Ed as much as anyone, but it seems like to be fair to him he's worked his socks off and actually came up with a resolution that suits everyone involved.

If you had any BTC left in the site I'd advise following the above steps asap to get your coins back Smiley
12  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (1GH/S per Unit) on: August 15, 2014, 03:29:59 PM
This is terrible news tbh, I bought almost purely because of the decision to move to P2P.
13  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (1GH/S per Unit) on: August 11, 2014, 10:57:58 AM
They seem to be in freefall right now... to the people (ie Puppet) who have been incredibly bearish on PETA, at what point, if any, do you see these becoming a good investment?
14  Economy / Gambling / Re: EveryDice.com | 0.99% Edge - Instant Cashout - Invest - Referral - Mobile - Fair on: July 30, 2014, 10:05:06 AM
Someone suspected that "mysterious investor" was uptweets, who has completely vanished since the incident.
Looks to be the case, but what I cannot understand is why uptweets hasn't taken the coins out of the cold wallet yet.
15  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (1GH/S per Unit) on: July 29, 2014, 03:27:28 PM
But the trend is definitely down, down, down...  Sad
Ouch, yeah I'm looking at the graph now and it's been pretty brutal Sad

I got out quite a while ago (though still took a fairly hefty loss) which obviously in hindsight I'm glad about, but it's a shame because IMO Peta is doing a lot of good things.
16  Economy / Gambling / Re: EveryDice.com | 0.99% Edge - Instant Cashout - Invest - Referral - Mobile - Fair on: July 29, 2014, 03:22:05 PM
The problem is, since the coins are still in cold storage it makes me wonder if even whoever was in control of them, still actually has control of them... is there a chance that something has genuinely happened to the coin holder?

Or is this probably just a ruse, hoping that we all forget about it in time and don't notice the coins being transferred out?

Hi,

I'm finally a full member - would it please be possible to join this now? Smiley

Many thanks

Over a month now since the last post in this thread Sad Ruru has just mentioned however that the coins are still in the cold wallet, no movement at all... is there even the slightest glimmer of hope they could be recovered?

Is there anyway to set my wallet to open unlocked so I can stake the coins automatically?
