I don't think it’d survive without the midas touch of Elon musk. The only reason why dogecoin’s price was pumped so hard was because of Elon's stint on twitter , who also dipped the value of the coin post SNL.

@wiss19You are right and I even feel it's due to lack of knowledge about BTC and market movements. The newbies are unaware about the price movements and whenever there are high fluctuations, especially towards the red zone, their panic button switches on and they sell it instantly, unaware that the market always bounces back after sometime.

I think people who have been in the crypto space understand that the value of the crypto always goes up, irrespective of the dips and crashes. The panic sell usually occurs from the people who are new to the market and are not used to the volatility of it.

If I were you I wouldn't sell all of the cryptos I own, rather sell some of them to get my profits and hold the remaining because I feel the bull run is going to continue for quite some time now.
I think the same as you. There is no need to sell all our coins, just sell some coins that are already increasing at good prices to sell. For some coins that the prices are still decreasing, it is better to keep holding them. The sign for the upcoming uptrend is still there, I am also confident that the bullrun isn't over yet. What we must do is to be patient waiting for the beginning of the next pump of all crypto coins, especially for Bitcoin. When Bitcoin is increasing significantly again, all altcoins probably will increase their values as well. exactly and with the current market dip i think it's a great opportunity for people to buy some more fundamentally strong cryptos and reap profits when the market rises.

That is not a bad idea at all because most of the crypto enthusiasts are young kids and maybe by teaching them crypto and blockchain, they would learn more about the market and what drives the price of these coins.

@Natalim at the end of the day it's all about implementing your trading strategy as per the market movements. The only crypto I hodl is BTC , the rest of the alt coins I frequently buy and sell in portions once it reaches my desired price point.

Not a financial advice, but if i were you i would have sold eth and BTC for SOL, given its quicker transaction speed and lesser transaction fees compared to both BTC and ETh. Although the mining equipment required for SOL is much more expensive, that is a more like one time expense, unlike the ever increasing gas fees.

I don't think there is gonna be any market in the future for these shit coins. Only assets that hold some importance in the present day witness a price increase in the future, And these shits don't hold any significance in the market, hence i don't think with time their value as such would increase

I read books and study about forex and crypto market in my free time, and it has been very fruitful for me.

Why not, but clearly depends upon their money management. I have been a salaried person before and I always used to make sure that a half of my salary goes into asset buying and not into useless expenditure.

To trade in ALT coins one needs to make a thorough research about that particular cryptocurrency or currencies. Today all the information is available on the internet and many cryptocurrencies have dedicated websites for people to get information about their coin and the projects they have. Go through their white paper and check all the related information about their blockchain. Even if you are just planning to trade, getting all the related information is important because you would want to put your money on a coin or coins that make you good money.

I think both USDC and BUSD are great alternatives to the USDT and offer more transparency than the latter.

I think you are over generalizing things over here. The dip that people witnessed two days ago was due to the high leverage that people had taken for BTC, and once it reached the 52k mark most of the holders (Whales) sold their BTC, which resulted in the fall of price, which was later accompanied by price corrections. I am not scared, rather excited about the next price level BTC is going to reach in a couple of months!

I get all the information about the crypto. If the coin has some promising feature that could lead to a technological development, I would hold on to that one. But if a coin has been brought just for the namesake with zero offerings, I would surely buy them cheap and dump them when they are hyped up.

I guess this thread is everything that a novice should read and understand, that trading is nothing as they read or listen. It's a battlefield between your emotions and strategies. Most of the newbies lose 90% of their money in the first month or so because of lack of practice and market study. They pay no attention to entry or exit points, they just follow a trader with some successful trades and lose most of their money just because they wanted to earn quick money.

I don't think age has anything to do with trading. I would allow kids to trade once they have obtained optimum knowledge about trading and markets.

@Jolankaa not bad man, the article is very informative and talks about some really key points about doge. I feel for new traders doge is still a good crypto to try their hands on given its volatile movements, and people can make some good profits from it. But since it doesn't offer any specific technological advancement I feel it will be very hard for doge to withstand the competition from other alt coins.

I have thought that one key advantage crypto (bitcoin, litecoin, Dash, monero etc.) has over gold is that its supply level is fixed and transparent, but can this or features make crypto more valuable than gold?
for now and in the future crypto will be more valuable than gold because the profits that can be obtained through crypto are very large but have a high risk. but not everyone will believe that krypto is more valuable than gold because people who are not savvy with crypto will continue to invest using gold. Moreover, crypto has a higher risk than gold. Ofcourse, in fact I think BTC is already more valuable than gold. Yes you are right some people may have a hard time accepting it due to lack of knowledge regarding crypto and being unaware about its utility. But I believe BTC will give gold a run for its money in the coming days, given BTC’s block chain technology and limited supply of 21 million coins.
