And I think you misunderstood the speech of ChangKi Park . He mentioned AI as a environmental factor, not the AI write the code.

Got it, this was the misunderstanding.  I thought AI was related to the coin itself.  Thanks

A self-evolving cryptocurrency platform means that it can change it's policy and code by the decision of it's governance system. Governance system called "Congress Network" is constitute of nodes who operate the BOS platform.
So in other words, it's change of code done by majority vote? Just trying to understand what it actually is.  Self-evolving in combination with buzzwords like AI make it sound like there automation rewriting its own code to adapt, which if driven by people would not be the case.

Regarding the partnership with Cosmos, is there any confirmation of this from Cosmos's team? I cannot find mention of BOSCoin on their site, blog, twitter, etc.
https://cosmos.network/
https://cosmos.network/blog
https://twitter.com/cosmos_hq
https://www.reddit.com/r/TheCosmos/

Also all articles I see describing the partnership are paid PR wires or reposting of another article.

Not saying it's not a real partnership; just trying to find 3rd party confirmation for DD, especially since the token itself is not being distributed until October - so there's not that much to go off of.

Thanks

Can you explain more what BosCoin is doing with AI or what it means to "self-evolve"? A lot of text I'm finding seems circular in description.

For example:
“BOScoin is a self-evolving cryptocurrency platform. With so many advances in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and quantum computers, it's impossible for us to predict the future. Which is why BOScoin is designed to evolve,” said Changki Park, BOScoin CEO.

In other words, it's self evolving because of machine learning, AI, and quantum computers, which makes it impossible to predict, which is why it evolves.

I'm willing to chalk it up to English not being the dev's first language, but I'd still like to know more what the coin is about before buying it.  What I read from the BosCoin site sounds more like just a simpler version of Ethereum to reduce the risk of programming errors like with what happened to DAO. I'm not really seeing what it has to do with AI or self evolving, which I'd like to understand more on.

Also regarding the ICO itself, do we need a personal BTC address/wallet or can it be sent from an exchange? It seems like no coins will be distributed until October.  Is there a way to verify our ownership or is it just the BosCoin dashboard/website?

Thanks

Very sad news.  RIP Hal and hope you rise back one day.

Well we all have our different goals - I'm actually aiming for fully automated.  You can't use set thresholds or static rules to achieve that (I'm working with ML, image recognition, etc).  I'm not going to try to change people's minds on this if they're already set against it, but if anyone else happens to be working something similar, it'd be nice to team up. I set up a few automated charts here for anyone interested:
http://ripple.tech-trader.net/?pair=BTC-USD

Main value of the algos there are the trendlines and support/resistance drawing, which are strength-weighted based on how well the levels are tested.  I'm also working on a few automated strategies for the trading itself if anyone's interested in collaborating.

I'm mainly watching to see if the support at $550 holds.  If not, I'd expect a test of the next closest trendline below that.

The buy signal from Tech Trader a few days back ended up working quite well.  Is anyone else taking an automated approach to this?
I think the divergence pattern was obvious and didn't need any tools. The eye looking at raw price and volume is the best tool.

The point of my post was that the automation is good enough to catch and trade these setups on its own. I didn't mean you needed it as a crutch to guide your trading. That's not what it's meant for.  I was asking if anyone was doing anything like this as well (fully automated swing trading, not just using tools). My own trading is still often better than the automation, but it's nice to know I can walk away if I needed to or focus on other things with my time. Smiley

Anyone else see the potential double top?

What about the much more profound triple bottom?

I don't know, could you perhaps show me an example of a triple bottom to help further my understanding?

zoom out

It's more consolidation and breakout imo.  The triple bottom is harder to see since the third time down actually went briefly below the previous two lows and held there for a while.

This is from an automated trading system I built for primarily trading stocks, but I managed to pull a feed in for BTC as well.  The move for the last few days looks pretty decent - it very clearly broke the downtrend that's been plaguing the currency for a while.
