To do this tests you need a hashboard tester ...

Hi

Take out the boards on 7 and 8 connector (2 and 3 from left to right).
Move the 6 board to 7 or 8, start the miner with this one board. If its still 0 asics, this board has isues.
Live the miner with 2 board till you get the 3rd.

I think the control board is broken.

Hi
I did not repaired T17e, but,
on s9 and T17 when this problems occured one of the cips wass not weldet properly.
Have you change the place of board, whith other board?
Only after put the board on test tool and measure the 5 signals i descovered the problems.
Home user withowt tools and knowledge cannot fix this.
5  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S9i hashboard chip numbers on: March 10, 2022, 07:44:51 AM
This is how chips are numbered.
https://www.imagebam.com/view/ME8IINC
If see only 30 chips the problem can be:
Chip 30 - not weldet good
Chip 31 - broken or not weldet good
LDO voltage of domain with chips 31,32,33.
Check 5 test ponts voltage with test tool.
Why you changed heatsinks?!?!
6  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: My S9K stopped working after I cleaned them... on: January 20, 2022, 09:23:02 AM
This devices work with high temperature.
The solderings are made with lead-free soldering paste, and are verry breakable.
Just the phisical manipulation of the board can cause detachament of one ore more chips.
The only solution is cleaning inside the casse with copressed air, and whe they are at normal temperature.
Otherwise you wil cause temperature stress.

If the chips get loose, unfortunatly you must resolder, or change, in any case you need special equipment and skils!  Angry

Hello,
What are the most common failures when the web interface says "has 0 asics" on an antminer S9?
This is not a firmware problem.
Thank you in advance.

The most common problem is one ore more chip's from a board are schort circuit.
The second, one ore more chips have bad soldering, this can be diagnosed by pushing gently the chip radiators with finger, the 'big' radiators, not the small ones.
The third, problem with power supply of each board.

9  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: APW9+ (S17+) power supply 0 volts. on: September 29, 2021, 08:44:53 AM
OK,
After some research i figured out.
The apw9+ start only if is connected to control board and control board to a hash board, or more...
Now next step, hash board dissect ...
10  Bitcoin / Mining support / APW9+ (S17+) power supply 0 volts. on: September 28, 2021, 07:01:54 PM
Hi!

A apw9+ deliver high current without any hash board connected?
I have a s17+ miner and the PSU feed the control board and vents, but on the high current i have 0 volts.
I dont know if there is a PSU problem or something else...

Tnx
11  Bitcoin / Mining support / apw3++ repair advice.. on: June 25, 2021, 09:46:55 AM

Hello!
I have a non-voltage source.
There is nothing visibly flawed inside.
The capacitors in the primary part are charged at 310v, the relay does not engage.
From the youtube clips in the enclosed area I should have ~ 13v. I have 0v.
