Rodrygo on the bench for Real Madrid again tonight, he must love the lifestyle out there because sporting ambition wise, he cant have any.
Hes permanently on the bench. Such a talented player but isnt interested to move to a club where he tests himself and plays every week.
When it is Madrid it is Madrid and every player wants to play for Madrid. You saw the press statement by the club owners that nobody wants to leave the club, when youre big youre big. I think Rodrygo will gradually get game time, the season has just began there are still plenty of games to be played and players will get fatigued and injured so he will certainly get his time. Having a player like him at Real Madrid significantly strengthens the manager's hand. Having such a quality player on the bench always benefits Real Madrid. Furthermore, if young Argentinian star Mastantuono struggles to adapt, the Brazilian can step in and achieve great things in that area. He's a great fit for Real Madrid. I'm sure Xabi Alonso is aware of this.

The Manchester city we know is no longer the one we are seeing now losing two consecutive games at a row is not a good result at all for a team as Manchester city. There inconsistency Started last season when rodri got injured and Have not maintained form till now which is getting fans confused and curious to ask what the problem could be for a team as Manchester city, with there spending in the transfer window this season. I think its the best time for pep guadiola to change his pattern of play because all teams have mastered that game Pattern and have developed a suitable game plan to withstand such pressure.
You are right, Manchester City have depreciated so much and I don't seem to know what the problem is. Losing two matches in a row is something I never thought was possible for a club of that grade that have that quality of players and an outstanding record. I don't believe that it is the injury of Rodri that is the problem with the club, something is fundamentally wrong with the team, maybe it is time for Pep Guardiola to leave the club which is more logical that Rodri's injury. I don't know exactly where the problem lies, but Manchester City appears to be in serious trouble. It would be good if they brought Donnarumma in as soon as possible. There are also errors in defense. There's no trace of the invincible Manchester City of a few years ago. The Premier League is now a Manchester City that's prone to losing big games. They were 1-0 up in the match and then went down 2-1. Their inability to maintain the lead is also a problem.

Bro is going to spend most of his season on the bench or just being used as a sub. Someone said maybe the manager has a plan for him in the UCL, but imo he should have just left when Liverpool made the move. Not sure if thats still on, but if it is, he should take the chance and explore a new club instead of becoming an ambassador for the bench If the manager is considering him as a substitute, I think he should leave the team. Rodrygo is a player who could easily be a starter for any other team. The Brazilian looks quite down. Perhaps he could play for Real Madrid in the second half. I was also surprised that Xabi chose Mastantuono over him. He must have a lot of faith in the young Argentinian.

Fenerbahçe, unable to qualify for the Champions League, terminated Jose Mourinho's contract. Mourinho received his severance pay and left the team. I think we've seen the importance of the Champions League once again. If Fenerbahçe had qualified for the Champions League, the Portuguese manager would likely have remained at the helm. After being eliminated from the Champions League against Benfica, they will now have to find another team. From now on, only Galatasaray will be in the Champions League.

Real Madrid have no issues winning the games looking at their next 3 opponents so far they have won all their games and their players are in good shape until they play against strong opponents like they are they can't be seen as a good team this season, against Mallorca should be another 3 points in the bag for them and Xabi Alonso should maintain the standard of his team by not allowing them to concede goals when they score also the co operation between Mbappe and Junior shouldn't stop because they appear to be like Harry Kane and Luis Diaz in Bayern Munich a good combination that will help the team this season.
It should be like that but it will not be as easy as it seems, I think Real Madrid's performance at the moment is not completely strong and the problem of performance consistency also still has to be proven including many other jobs that Xabi Alonso has to complete, fortunately in the first few matches of the season they did not meet strong opponents so that Xabi Alonso had time in those matches to adapt and continue to improve the team's performance. Real Madrid is a very good team and has been flawless so far. I don't think they'll have any problems today either. Xabi seems to be making good progress for the team so far. There seems to be a chemistry between Mbappé and Vinicius. The manager must be the source of this. I see a team with more ambition than last year. Real Madrid is very ambitious this year.

One of main problem in the football transfer these days is inflation. Time flies so fast in football. I'm getting shocked when Newcastle paid 90m for a striker who came from nowhere. Meanwhile, 90m could give us Ronaldo at 2009. It seems the inflation in football is uncontrollable. Sometimes, i think football these days much more on business instead of passion. Priced a player that literally no ones heard of close to the 100m is so crazy as hell. Things worsen when Newcastle agreed to buy him. We may be seeing 4th tier player may be priced millions soon. Yes, I agree. Inflation in football has risen abnormally. Players are now being transferred for transfer fees that are far higher than they deserved in previous years. I think the World Football Committee should investigate this matter. They need to cap football transfer fees. If this continues, other European and world-class teams with limited financial means will be unable to find players to play for. I was very surprised to hear what Newcastle United paid for this transfer. They could have added Osimhen to their squad for less. At the very least, they would have had him prove himself and acquired a top-quality striker.

In the Champions League's toughest match of the night, Benfica eliminated Fenerbahçe 1-0 with a goal from Turkish player Kerem Aktürkoğlu. Benfica will enter the Champions League from the second pot, and the draw will take place today. It's safe to say that Benfica were the more effective side throughout the match. They scored a few goals, but they were disallowed. Furthermore, goalkeeper Livakovic prevented several clear-cut chances. Don't let the single-goal scoreline fool you, but Benfica played very well.

If Donnarumma and PSG don't capitalize on the current transfer window, both will suffer losses. Gigio will likely be benched, potentially for almost a season. For PSG, this represents a financial loss, given that Gigio only has one season left on his contract, meaning they likely won't receive anything in the future. One option is to lower the price; I'm sure Manchester City will try to meet this requirement so they don't have to wait to sell Ederson.
PSG isn't a team that seeks to profit from player sales, so the decision to bench him and his contract expiring next season won't impact the club. What's truly unfortunate is Donnarumma's career, as staying and not getting playing time this season will make things even more difficult. It's better to lower the price so that more teams might be interested in signing Donnarumma, although I don't think PSG's current asking price is too high, considering Donnarumma's abilities as one of the best goalkeepers. I agree that Donnarumma's asking price isn't excessive, but it's unreasonable to ask for such a high sum for a player whose contract expires at the end of the year. Furthermore, Paris Saint-Germain doesn't seem to be making much of a bid to renew his contract. If it were me, I'd pay him the money he wants and keep him, as he's a goalkeeper whose contribution to the team has always been top-notch.

Now it's back to the league. Matchday 4 features a big match: Sporting vs. Porto. Both teams have won everything, scoring many goals and conceding few. What will the match be like? Who will win? Or will it end in a draw?
It's really the tough call to predict the outcome of this clash. From my bettor's perspective, I think the most reasonable bet for this match could be BTTS . That said, I still have at least two days to go over all the facts and make more informed decision. Personally, Im slightly biased toward Sporting win, though Im not exactly sure why. It's probably due to their position in the table last season. I think BTTS is the more likely match. It's difficult to predict who will win, as both teams have a high probability of winning. I'm confident it will be a good match, and I think it's the strongest bet right now. If I'm not mistaken, this will be the first big match in the Portuguese league. It could even shape the future of the league.

After Manchester United spent a lot of money in the transfer window this season and they still failed to compete then I believe the manager is the main problem we don't talk about his ability, it's just that sometimes a coach is not suitable for all clubs. I'm sure Amorim doesn't have much time to fix this situation and yeah at least until mid season his fate will be determined. Manchester United have dropped 5 points in their last 2 games and we still have to wait for the next 3 games to say something.
Now the problem is more about the captaincy. If Amorim forces Bruno Fernandez to play in that position, it will make it difficult for him to be as productive as last season. In poor team form, Bruno Fernandez can perform better, providing assists and scoring goals, and forcing Bruno Fernandez to play the way he did in the previous two matches will limit his creativity on the pitch. Things haven't gone well, but if Amorim continues to experiment and keeps Sesko on the bench for longer, it will make things much more difficult for Manchester United. You could say Sesko hasn't had much of an opportunity yet. I had high hopes for him when Manchester United signed him, but he hasn't had enough playing time so far. I support giving a young player who wants to prove himself in the Premier League an opportunity. I understand Manchester United's ambition to be more successful this year, but they shouldn't discourage young players. I'm sure Sesko rejected offers from other teams when he signed for Manchester United. Now that he can't play, he might be questioning his decision.

The historic rivalry between Real Madrid and Barcelona certainly won't change this season; it always has been and always will be. Real Madrid doesn't seem to have improved compared to last year, perhaps just time to stabilize? I hope they can show us their numbers in a couple of weeks; they have a promising squad, but they seem a bit lacking in energy yet. I'll wait a little longer before making any bets on La Liga.
I actually liked Real Madrid's performance over the past two weeks. Everyone was hoping to see more goals, but their scoring numbers seem to have decreased slightly. They only scored one goal in the first week, and this week, despite scoring three, they've missed more opportunities. Real Madrid will definitely have a match where they'll score a goal in their expected performance. I really enjoy watching this rivalry in Spain. The rivalry between Barcelona and Real Madrid is what keeps us watching the Spanish league.

There will be only one Europa League match today. Following the AEK-Brann clash, the remaining matches will be played tomorrow. AEK lost 2-1 away. Now they'll be playing at home, so they have no other choice. They absolutely must win this match and advance. Brann, on the other hand, must defend well away from home and keep a clean sheet to stay in the Europa League and experience this atmosphere. Furthermore, tomorrow's matches will conclude the group stage. I don't see any strong teams competing in this qualifier, other than Braga. Perhaps Genk as well. The Europa League winner likely won't be coming through this qualifier.

This will be some unpopular opinion, but if Saudi Arabia is interested in Bruno Fernández, I think Manchester United should consider this move to complete the total overhaul of this club...After seeing Bruno miss that penalty I think it could be pressure from the new signings who are big names and had better stats last season and it just makes sense that to get the optimal performance from these lads, then the team needs to be rebuilt around these..and also why did Amorim get Sesko if he keeps starting from the bench..doesnt make sense tbh..
It's too late to sell Bruno now. The transfer window is very close, and if Bruno is sold, Manchester United won't have enough time to find a replacement and adapt him to the team. Any player can miss a penalty, but that's not a big deal. He was the team's most important player last year. I believe he'll improve over time this year.

Among the teams that have already secured a place in the Europa League, Aston Villa and Lyon stand out to me. These two teams could make it to the finals. While the other teams aren't as ambitious, I suspect the teams that will emerge from the qualifiers won't be too ambitious either.
Why do you think so? Aston Villa's last 5 games haven't been that great so far. They drew against Newcastle and lost against Brentford. They did win against Roma and Villareal, so that's that. Do you think their league form isn't indicative of how they'll perform on the UEL, like Manchester United or Spurs last season? I don't understand how you can conclude their ambitions based on the qualifiers' results or something else. Yes, perhaps that's why he said it. Manchester United, who nearly went down in the Europa League last year, and Tottenham, who were relegated, met in the Europa League final. Despite playing very well, Manchester United lost, and Tottenham won the final. Tottenham will be in the Champions League this year. Because the Premier League's difficulty level is vastly different from that of the Europa League, many English teams were seen as the natural favorites. Similarly, English teams are the favorites in the Conference League.

If it was not because Liverpool was able to add one goal and win the game yesterday, many people would have blamed them for their poor performance. If not for their poor performance, how could Newcastle who had only 10 men on the pitch manage to score two goals against Liverpool, who had 11 men on the pitch? The goals from Newcastle came as an equalizer, which is a very poor sign.
The same thing happened against Bournemouth. Liverpool was two goals down, and although they managed to equalize, Bournemouth was still able to respond quickly. Later, Liverpool struggled to score two more goals late in the match.Liverpool needs to address what has happened in these two matches. They cannot continue like this. If they keep allowing opponents to equalize, they won't always be lucky enough to score a late winner.
Liverpool is defending champion and their fans have high hope from the club. You are right, Anthony Gordon was shown red red towards the final moment of first half and Newcastle was reduced to 10 men in second half, yet they were able to equalize the game in 88th minute. It was due to Rio Ngumoha goal in 90+10 minute that Liverpool was able to win the match otherwise it was a confirm draw. If Liverpool continue playing like that then it will be difficult for them to defend their title. Yes, they didn't play particularly well, even against their opponents down to ten men. I see Liverpool performing below my expectations. Liverpool, who played so well in every aspect last year, seem to have narrowly won both of their matches this year. Newcastle United were the lucky ones to receive a red card. If this match had ended with both teams having the same number of players, Newcastle United would likely have won. Liverpool played so ineffectively.

Getafe had taken the lead since the 15th minute through a goal from Adnan Liso. The situation was actually quite tense when a Getafe player made a mistake and conceded an own goal at the end of the first half. However, at the start of the second half, precisely in the 51st minute, Liso scored again, turning the score around and Getafe regained the lead, which lasted until the end of the match.
Getafe showed their best qualities against Sevilla, playing much better than Sevilla, who lost momentum after the Getafe own goal. This guaranteed a poor start for Sevilla, as they had dropped six points in their last two matches. Without any changes in the next match, Sevilla would have struggled even more. Sevilla were dominant in that match, but they didn't capitalize on many scoring opportunities, allowing Getafe to capitalize on the situation to steal three points at Sevilla's home ground. For this season Sevilla has no changes for progress and the defeat at home against Getafe I think is enough to prove that Sevilla will fight again to escape relegation this season even though it is quite early to say but after seeing Sevilla's strength and performance in the last 2 matches I am sure it will happen. Sevilla lost, but their football still gives hope. When we look at the statistics, we see that Sevilla, despite their defeat, has excellent performance. Their possession rate is 72%, which is truly remarkable. I can't understand how they lost despite this percentage. Sevilla's biggest problem is their ineffective attack. A good striker is essential for the team. If they can find the opportunity, I think they should sign a good striker before the transfer window closes.

Donnarumma has no other choice but to wait for which team is serious about bringing him in because it is no longer possible for Donnarumma to stay at PSG so for his career he will go anywhere and regardless of which team will sign him and indeed personally I quite agree if Donnarumma goes to Manchester City because in my opinion both will have big advantages in terms of performance Donnarumma is still quite good and his age is still very young so it is very likely that he will be able to contribute greatly to the Manchester City team.
Yes, City is a good team, but in my opinion, they are not in their best period right now. Guardiola has initiated major changes in the team, selling many players and bringing in new ones, and it may take some time before he gets the team playing well. However, I agree that for Donnarumma, City is a very good option at the moment. But now he has to wait for the deal with Galatasaray regarding Ederson to be completed, and only after that will he be able to join City. I dont know why, but for some reason these transfers have stalled and are not progressing at the moment. I believe the Donnarumma transfer will be completed before the season ends. Once that's done, Manchester City can easily let Ederson go. It seems they don't have much confidence in their backup goalkeeper right now. He made obvious mistakes in the match they played. The presence of an experienced player is essential. This could be possible with Donnarumma, who has left Paris Saint-Germain.
