1  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: T17e firmware to bypass asic check on: January 10, 2022, 04:33:22 AM
If you are looking for a factory firmware that could bypass ASIC check then there is no factory firmware that you can find here or even in Bitmain's support page.

You can only bypass the ASIC check if you install a modified firmware try to check the BraiinsOS you can able to bypass those broken chips.

You can find the official thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5036844.0

Thanks for the reply. I have tried brainos, but the chain doesn't appear in the dashboard. On stock firmware, it appears but not hashing as the board shuts down because it has 77 asic instead of 78. Care to explain if there are other settings I need to set or something ?
2  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / T17e firmware to bypass asic check on: January 09, 2022, 04:15:06 PM
Are there such firmware with option to bypass asic check
One of my board have 77 asic instead of 78 and it just powers it off which is a shame. I'm sure it could run with 77 asic. Sad l3+ is able to run with less than 72 asic.

Thanks in advance.
3  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S19J abnormal hashrate. No error in Kernel on: December 25, 2021, 06:08:59 AM
Hello. Now all 3 of my miners have the same problem. I have one miner without all the pwm and invalid config thingy. Zero errors or problem on the kernel. But after it starts hashing for 5 min, it just stops mining. :/

No idea why. All S19j pro.

Do you have a stable internet connection? What is your internet speed?

This is what I found

Code:
2021-12-21 11:30:58 WARN_NET_LOST: network connection lost
2021-12-21 11:30:58 will power off in 72 seconds in case not resume
2021-12-21 11:32:09 network connection lost for 5 min + 72 seconds, power off...
2021-12-21 11:32:16 chain avg vol drop to 1.27
2021-12-21 11:36:04 ****power off hashboard****

Can you try to run or switch to another pool server if you are living on ASIA you should use an ASIA pool server or if you are living in the US then you should use a US pool server to get the lower latency?

Also, notice this

Code:
021-12-21 11:36:09 Invalid config option --bitmain-fan-pwm: '' is not a number
2021-12-21 11:36:09 Invalid config option --bitmain-freq: '' is not a number
2021-12-21 11:36:09 Invalid config option --bitmain-voltage: '' is not a number
2021-12-21 11:36:09 Invalid config option --bitmain-ccdelay: '' is not a number
2021-12-21 11:36:09 Invalid config option --bitmain-pwth: '' is not a number
2021-12-21 11:36:09 Invalid config option --bitmain-freq-level: '' is not a number

and this below sometimes it doesn't have a fan power signal

Code:
2021-12-21 11:24:05 fan_eft : 0  fan_pwm : 0

The fan might be the issue that is why you have an invalid config option according to the above logs.

Try to upgrade it to the latest version and test it again if your issue doesn't solve then post the whole kernel logs again here.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I skip everything and follow your last advice and flash the latest firmware. It fixed the issue. But how can a firmware flash what seems to be a net_lost problem or fan problem ?

Or maybe it fixed the invalid config problem. But how did that problem happen in the first place?

edit : apprently the invalid config, fan_pwm and net_lost issue still exist. But its hashing for a solid hour without problem.
5  Bitcoin / Mining support / S19J abnormal hashrate. No error in Kernel on: December 21, 2021, 02:04:57 PM
Hey guys, 2 of my S19j just randomly stops hashing. Sometimes when i press restart, it will hash for about 5 minutes then stops. No error it seems on kernel. What could be the problem? I have another s19 just beside it and its running just fine.

Here's the kernel log.

How many accounts did you create here on the forum? Smiley

My only account. Just joined this forum after a long time mining... mostly I'm on reddit. Lurking around here to look for any new exciting firmware but kept seeing your post in almost every thread for firmwares. By the way, no hard feelings..  I guess I know how it feels to get your work stolen.. but oh wells

All of the miner manufacturers are violating the license.

False.

However, I will also point out that although many people are murdered every day, is that OK for you to do it also?

You have to make a profit somehow even if it is illegal?
Since no one else on the planet can make a profit legally?

Many people are murdered everyday, and of course it's not ok to do so. But you as the police (in this analogy), you allow a big corporation to get away with murder because MAYBE

1) they are too big to take down
2) majority of the people are working for them and murdering every single day so you can't fight them
3) you had a deal with them which you didn't disclose

Either way, you pick on someone weaker while letting them go scott free.

In another words : Hypocrite.

I see you in almost every thread like an old broken record. Take them all down with a lawsuit if it's illegal. If not move on and live and let live
