Am I keeping track wrong or is it taking the bet when there's a push?

I jumped the gun, nevermind.

Edit: Any chance of surrender and/or insurance features in there?

Oh, and a hand history and win/loss ledger.

The bottleneck is going to be in the graphics card drivers and the GPU chip itself, mining is taking like 1% cpu on my i7 right now.

It'd probably be worth your while to install ubuntu on it and NOT load a GUI, that way all the GPU will be dedicated to mining.

The pool server latency and your hashrate affect these, as well as the miner you use. Make sure you have one that supports Long Polling.

I have long polling, a pool with 50ms ping, and a hashrate of 100Mhash/s and I am getting 2.8% stale

Crazy amount for a first investment, I started with 100 and I'm pretty much even.

As long as hash rate keeps increasing, the miners will demand a profit for btc. Mining stabilizes the price.
