1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2025/2026 on: September 22, 2025, 09:55:09 PM
To be fair, City may not be looking great at the moment but they are still a team that won it four times in a row, so while they have changed most of the team, they are still that team inside of them, they still have a few players who was part of those years as well. So it's clear that if they do fail to win, that's normal.
Manchester City is already picking up gradually and are almost close to that old team that were winning every match with ease. They have made remarkable improvement in their attacking which is why they are able to score more goals lately. I will not rule out the possibility of them winning the title this year, even though it's still too early to call.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: not-a-luxury casino on: September 22, 2025, 03:51:19 PM
does the comfort of a casino add to how much you want to gamble? i have been thinking that the services of a casino to make you feel as comfortable as possible are they only tactics to keep you in longer inside the casino and spend more?

but what about those not so expensive casino or betting sites? there’s usually no air conditioning unit, it’s small and cramped but there are still people who go there to bet maybe because the desire to bet is higher than their desire for comfort

is comfort a big deal to you when gambling?
Your post will make more sense to those who visit physical casinos,  something I rarely do and when I was going to physical  casinos to gamble, comfort is indeed a big factor in choosing which casino to visit. There were casinos that made their offices comfortable they attracted a lot of rich and wealthy gamblers who appreciate good ambience.

The prevalence of online casinos have reduced the rate of people visiting physical casinos. Even with online casinos, sites that have good visuals and nice color combination and website that does not lag will definitely attract more gamblers than others.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Was gambling a reason for you to discover Bitcoin / cryptocurrencies? on: September 20, 2025, 09:43:53 PM
I know about Bitcoin a lot time before I know about crypto casinos. When j learnt they it can be used to make deposit in casino, after learning about casinos, it became more interesting to me than it was. Bitcoin have come to make life easy and comfortable for a lot of people as it has found application in many areas.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 20, 2025, 08:38:35 PM
I think that the bundesliga is becoming more competitive because looking at the games that were scored all the matches produced more than two goals any league that is producing plenty of goals is a sign that the league is competitive as all the teams in the league is striving to win their games by scoring plenty of goals.

I do not see that Bundesliga producing quite number of goals in a day match is a way of classifying the league as becoming competitive, rather seeing teams head-to-head with each other in points or having slight points difference from each other, or a situation where you start to see this team tops today and the next week game another team has climbed or equal them. This is the things that we enjoy and see happen in the Premier League which makes it the most competitive league in the world.
Technically you are right because performance is measured by scoring goals and preventing opponents from scoring. If scoring goals without defending is the main thing, some lower divisions that even score more than first division would have been seen as strong teams.  The Bundesliga this season is actually tough and competitive but not because it produce so many goals.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 20, 2025, 08:19:34 PM
game ended 1-1 for Juventus and Verona.
They leading the leaderboard but they could easily had 2 more points.

Milan is playing right now and they are winning 1-0 against a good Udinese.
I watched this match a little and it was not interesting one bit. A draw with Hellas Verona is a very bad result for Juventus even though they played away. They ought to win the match and keep their chances of winning the Serie A very active,  but this draw is bringing hope to other teams that would have been gapped by Juventus and Napoli. Sometimes I avoid Juventus and some key Italian team due to their inconsistency.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Life and what else on: September 20, 2025, 07:45:44 PM
I am curious what is the one thing that you will never bet with? I am not talking about life because I think almost everyone will say that already but instead I am talking about other things. Like your house, your car or maybe some weird thing like your favorite shirt or the mug your father gave you. Those kinds of things. It would be interesting to see how people value different things within the metrics of gambling.
I can only bet with whatever I can afford to lose in terms of money. I cannot bet with house, car or any of my property, that is not what gambling requires. Most people that gamble with their properties are addicted to gambling, so bad that they are ready to gamble with anything at their disposal. Such gamblers need serious help.
7  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria ranks 6th in the Chainalysis 2025 Global Crypto Adoption Index. on: September 20, 2025, 07:01:08 PM
Although I'm not surprised with the position of Nigeria in this ranking, what baffles me is seeing India in the first position even ahead of the US and Russia. If someone had told me this without evidence, ai wouldn't have believed but since there is evidence from a credible source, it's possible to be correct. It is encouraging that countries which their governments are not friendly with Bitcoin like Nigeria and India still come out among the highest. This shows that nothing can stop Bitcoin.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a cultural thing? on: September 20, 2025, 03:24:29 PM
People often say that gambling is full of men. But I have seen women be addicted to gambling as well. Older women spend their remaining time in bingo places. You will often see grandmothers playing cards or mahjongs. Some daughters will even say they learned from their mothers. So I am surprised to see when people say they are only recently seeing women around gambling. Is it a cultural thing? Are women from specific cultures more prone to gambling?
Women gamble in my country but the percentage of women that gamble is insignificant. Even the woman that gamble here are young women, some youths who also love football, you will rarely see old women gambling here. Card is mot popular here, just done by a handful of people. I don't even play Cards, my game is sports betting and that is what is popular here.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Trading Competitions Really Get the Best Out of You? on: September 19, 2025, 06:32:54 PM
I have participated in trading competition a couple of times and sincerely, it made me worse than I was because I was taking trade I was not supposed to take and allowing trades I was supposed to close to run because I needed more profits. Trading competition sometimes makes a trader abandon his strategy and follow something else, it can also make you to over leverage your account due to the quest for big profits to remain among the winners of the competition.  I will not take trading competition seriously and even if I do it, I will do it struckly for fun.

10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26 on: September 19, 2025, 01:45:19 PM
Next week, Barcelona will face Getafe in La Liga. I think this match will be quite exciting, as Getafe's current form is quite good. The proof is that Getafe is currently in fourth place in La Liga and has won three of its four matches. So, given that, I think Barcelona needs to be cautious in this match. Because Barcelona can't afford to lose any more points in this match. Currently, Barcelona is in second place and still trails Real Madrid by a point.
Barcelona meeting Getafe is an easy three points for Barcelona because Getafe will not be able to withstand the momentum of the present Barcelona squad.  Yesternigt they won Newcastle United in the UEFA Champions League against the expectations of the bookmakers who gave them bigger odd thinking that they will lose the match due to injuries of some key players. No one thought that Rashford will be able to pick the call deliver two goals for the Catalans. I expect a repeat of that wonderful performance from him this weekend.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From $0.9B to $10.9B: Sports Betting Skyrockets in the U.S. on: September 18, 2025, 09:59:30 PM
Rhe increase is not only in the US, but it's a global trend and some country are higher in terms of the percentage of their population. The second reason for this could be increase in financial awareness which is why more people are looking alternative ways of earning money for which gambling is one of the easiest way to achieve that if you are careful to discipline and not greedy.

13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bankroll management is not a strategy. on: September 17, 2025, 09:59:18 PM
Do you agree with me? Or do you think that bankroll management is a strategy?
Bankroll management is a must in every gambling sessions, and it has to be implemented while using every strategies the gambler aims to execute, although it's indeed not a strategy by itself. Strategies are Martingale, D'Alembert, Fibonacci, Labouchère, Oscar's Grind and Paroli. Despite the strategy you decide to use, it's always necessary to make sure to be a responsible gambler. And it's not possible to be a responsible gambler if you don't manage your bankroll properly...
I think he was referring to it as not being a strategy in gambling even though it is an important part of the gambling process. If you only know how to manage money as an economics without having a strategy of selecting your bests, it will only take time for your money management strategy to become useless. This is what the author may be referring to and that is correct. If you have a good strategy of selecting your game, they you can apply money management to the strategy to become profitable.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season on: September 17, 2025, 09:30:17 PM
Yes, the match between Bayern Munich and Chelsea was indeed more exciting. Chelsea had to play more aggressively in the second half to keep the pressure on Bayern Munich's players. Bayern Munich played a very neat and composed ball circulation, allowing the home team to dominate the match.

The second half has begun, and I hope Chelsea's defenders play more cautiously and focused to avoid the mistakes they made in the first half.
The match has to be interesting that's why it was the main match I was anticipating to watch this midweek in the Champions League. Funny enough the game in terms of goals has gone as I wanted, both teams to score and ov 2.5, it even came through in the first half. These are the types of matches I love, score goals early so that bettors can behave peace and rest of mind. I just love this very match that I'm watching.
Bayern Munic was just too much for Chelsea tonight, they outplayed them and still defeated them. Although Chelsea tried their best but were just not lucky to get some their chances converted and one of their goal by Palmer allowed. I knew that the presence of Diaz in Bayern Munic will be a problem for the Chelsea defense because I don't just know how Chelsea would be able to stop Harry Kane, Diaz and Olise.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: World economic system, survival of the fittest. on: September 17, 2025, 09:03:12 PM
Apart from some random Arabs complaining on social media, the rest are either too scared to speak up against the dictatorship or the occupiers or too busy trying to survive poverty to do anything else.
Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani assumed that gifting a Boeing 747-8 luxury jetliner to Trump would buy protection. This is just a lesson that the US only sees Americans and Israelis as humans. Others can be slaughtered at will because they are less human in the US's sight. It is better to be an enemy than to be a friend who can be sacrificed at will.
Middle East politics is so complicated as everyone have a version of their story but one thing is sure, most of the problems there were created by people who want to divide them to be able to exploit them. The wars are all about natural resources and nothing more and anyone that will favor America is where their interest is. The gift may not really be for what you described because Qatar and the US have a lot together but don't forget that Israel acted alone and not with the approval of the US. Although the US may be on the know but turn a def ear because their precious people are involved.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake aviator hack app is advertised on telegram on: September 17, 2025, 08:39:17 PM
On my telegram account, I don't know how some group admins manage to get my user name to add me to their group because each time I open my account, I always find out that I have been added to multiple unknown groups. As I opened my account today, there is this group that cease my attention, so I started scrolling and found so many ads about some products but the very one lead me to create this thread was an ads about app designed to work as a hack for the aviator game, a very deceitful ads that could get a lot of people trapped.
That is a cheap scam that is not even hard to detect. If someone have this hack, why advertise it when you can simply use it to exploit the casino. I think anyone that fall for this scam can as well believe that Somalia is the richest and most developed country on earth. For it to be advertised on Telegram is already a red flag because Telegram is a community filled with scammers.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy Buy Buy or Sell Sell Sell? on: September 16, 2025, 09:59:18 PM
I agree with you on this, anyone who have this mindset of making profit at the early stage of their accumulation will surely not succeed in their investment journey because they will so much focus on the profit and they can take a little profit they will see because they will feel if they don't take the little profit that price of Bitcoin will dip and they won't see this profit again which is a wrong mindset and this is always exercise by traders and some people who disguise as an investor.

And lastly, Investment in Bitcoin is not just about holding for long term but also doing the necessary things that is meant to be done, such as consistent accumulation, growing your discretionary and keeping your emergency funds on standby to offset any emergency that will come up and also keep your wallet safe.
The more you invest in Bitcoin, more you will get return. Now it's up to us whether to go for normal Bitcoin accumulation or go for bullish accumulation. Those who don't have enough Bitcoin or are just starting, have no other option but to go bullish until they have adequate number of Bitcoins in there portfolio. With price of 100k, the one who are just entering the accumulation phase may set a target of getting 1 Bitcoin before they stop getting bullish in Bitcoin accumulation. For bullish accumulation, it's important to have some kind of discretionary income that you can invest in Bitcoin.
I have not heard about this bullish accumulation of a thing and it is sounding like being passionate to accumulate Bitcoin against all odds. I hope I'm wrong but the right way to invest in Bitcoin is always with discretionary income to avoid a situation where you will have to sell Bitcoin to meet your basic needs, which is not a good thing to do. Even  though you may not have meet your accumulation goal in terms of the quantity of Bitcoin in your portfolio, it will be better to imbibe consistency than to rush the process since with time you will definitely meet the target. In other words, the concept of slow and steady wins the race.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: September 16, 2025, 09:32:47 PM
Age itself does not stop anyone from investing in Bitcoin or from building more cash flow. What really matters is whether someone has discretionary income and the discipline to keep stacking without touching it for everyday bills. As you said, expenses will always be there no matter our age, so the real solution is having other income streams to support those expenses. That way, whatever goes into Bitcoin remains long term. Salaries or main income can serve as the foundation, but multiple income sources give extra room to increase discretionary income and keep the investment secure.
You must not have multiple sources of income before you can comfortably invest in Bitcoin, what you need is a good source of income that can cover your basic needs and allow you have enough discretionary income from where you will invest part into Bitcoin and part of it kept as emergency funds. This idea of having multiple sources of income have made more people spread their money and energy into things they should have avoid to focus on things that will help them just because they want to create many streams of income. If you have a good business that is fetching you enough money, you can use part of your profits to start building your Building your Bitcoin portfolio. The focus is to have discretionary income and emergency funds to protect the investment from being sold when it was not planned.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season on: September 16, 2025, 09:12:27 PM

That penalty kick goal from Promise Akinpelu of Royale Union Saint-Gilloise already ruined my combo bet.
Lost right away on the first leg. All of my bets today are the same type: draw in 1st 10 mins. Looks like the remaining five might actually hit. That’s how it usually goes lose on the first leg, then the rest of the legs win.
But when you bet on those, they end up losing too. I guess that how gambling life works. lol f.
I felt somehow about this game from the beginning, even though lots of bettors predicted psv to win or draw I had some doubts because union are known to pressure big teams and they are also good in goal scoring.  Psv is already lagging behind and union have scored to goals in that first half, there goes all the expectations people placed on psv. Well, it's not to late for them to turn things around
This match with that of Benfica versus Qarabag are the strange matches of today that ended in the least expected ways. Everyone felt that PSV would win the match, they same way we thought that Benfica will enjoy easy victory, Unfortunately, the home teams were defeated  and that of Benfica was the most disgraceful one since they were leading by 0-2 in first half before losing the match in second half. Marseille even scored Real Madrid first but Madrid was able to quickly bounce back and secure the win. This is how champions league should be, full of surprises.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season on: September 16, 2025, 05:48:25 PM
We are all set to behold one of the most tense competitions in the world,
Ladies and gentlemen the Europe champions League is here, can't wait to behold the beautiful moments of the game
My prediction for today game are
Ath Bilbao vs Arsenal= Arsenal win
PSV vs Royale Union= PSV WIN
Benfica vs Quarabag = gg
Juventus vs Dortmund= Juventus win or draw
Real Madrid vs Marseille= Real Madrid win
Tottenham Hotspurs vs Villarreal= gg.
It is obvious you underestimated Royale Union who are beating PSV 0-2 at half time. It is easy to go with this option since it is expected that PSV would have used their home advantage to win the match. At the current half time score, PSV will only be targeting a draw which is possible. Juventus against Borussia Dortmund is another match I'm expecting to have similar result because Dortmund is in good form this season and have little regard for away.
