1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] ipoMiner - Profitable multipool targeting new coins on: September 18, 2014, 02:40:45 PM
Hi, I'm mining on direct port for NEOS  (stratum+tcp://pool.ipominer.com:3627) Miner is getting accepted work - however don't see speed appearing on frontend. If I change back to multiport I can see my hash appearing.... Any help would be appreciated!!

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] ipoMiner - Profitable multipool targeting new coins on: September 02, 2014, 10:00:37 AM
I've been mining for four hours and still no unconfirmed balance, DRK and XURO are working fine before.
I'm seeing the same thing with NEOS. Mining most of the day, blocks being found and confirmed. Unconfirmed balance stays at 0. Confirmed, unconfirmed and per block estimates don't change. I'm suspecting there's a problem with the front end?

Same here - seeing block success but no confirmed / unconfirmed - probably noticed about 8-12 hours ago....

Update: Actually I haven't seen a payout for about 17 hours.... Since Block #3646 - we have found 39 blocks since..

IPO Miner - can you please take a look?

Bump.....

Seems to now be resolved - missing (or should I say mined) coins have turned up and confirmed - what little I am actually mining that is - good stuff ipominer - highly rate your service!

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAST] MastCoin | CoinRecycler | ANON | New development roadmap on: July 27, 2014, 10:43:19 AM
This coin is NOT fake, and the coin recycler works, but the devs awhile back in irc said that the coin is open source, but the coin recycler part was not. So the old devs will have to give the code to the new ones.

i'm pretty sure he said here a few weeks back that he didn't mind if anyone looked at the code because it's open source and just API's interacting with different exchanges.

I think it's the wallet that was closed source. But that never got released anyways.

the actual wallet are not supposed to work with the console ?

Hi all,

The wallet is opensource - and I believe github holds latest release. This code includes the wallet non GUI 'console-based' client integration to coin-recycler (via webservice/json API). The coin-recycler website is not opensource (and is where most of the complexity would lie as it interacts with the exchange(s)....) as such we don't have access to this, only MAST devs do.

My question is how hard would it be to push a sell and then push a buy and withdraw?  Seems pretty simple IMO

Edit:  I have a lot of ideas I'm willing to toss to you guys if you can prove yourselves as developers...  No closed source this time, once I've seen competence, I'll unleash all of my ideas to you, most are simple but for some reason or another it hasn't been implemented and are pretty good foundations for any currency

Whilst not a big fan of 'closed source' development - I can understand why the Devs took this approach. Building this functionality directly into the wallet allows every other coin to just copy and clone - you pretty much immediately lose the 'investment' Interesting to note I'm not aware of any other coins that have the OtherCoin-> Coin 'recycler' feature at the moment (Happy to be proven wrong) aware of the anon / coinjoin style mechanisms for washing coins - SameCoin -> SameCoin - however not what MAST does - so we had a good head start on a number of coins - just a pity this wasn't capatilised on, however the comment from someone earlier in the thread about Coin Recycler being mostly manual 'under the covers' starts to make a little more sense...

Devs have not been away for 5 days. They were last active less than 3 days ago and last post was less than 4 days ago.

Yeah, me.  But I can't do it alone.  and I see no one else offering...

I'm in as well (if required) however it would obviously be better to do this in conjunction with devs if at all possible... I should also point out that there is nothing stopping you submitting code now to help devs out today - the beauty of oss ....

FYI - I'm still buying where I can.... Still feel that this coin can have a strong future.

Hey - just in respect to 'no one buying.... '

Wanted to point out that I'm mining every new sh*tcoin launched - then selling it and buying MAST. i.e. at every opportunity I get.....

I believe in the coin, just wish I had more time to promote/contribute - I am trying to pickup C + QT development in the background but slow process... If I can finally get to point I can reliably contribute I'll definitely be looking to add some ideas of mine into the mix.

edit - P.S. Who owns http://www.mastiffcoin.com/  ? we should redirect this to new site - possibly is confusing.... and looks like nothing is happening.

Thanks, this is not version 1.2, this version 0.8 not synchronized

Not 100% sure but if you look at the properties on the exe (on windows) of the zip I uploaded (see above) it states FileVersion 0.8.6.0 - so it maybe that the original dev in the rush to dump forgot to update the version number in the source (github)

The bitcoin-qt.pro file for example still has:

VERSION = 0.8.6

In the code on Github.....

So hoping Guthub code aligns with version I uploaded - not sure if there is a definitive way of checking thou....

Can someone please explain how the coin recycler actually works?  Basically are the devs making their own market?  How competitive are the exchange rates offered?

No - AFAIK they are using existing exchanges to sell 'other' coins to BTC/LTC then purchasing MAST on the open market as well... All in all rather clever way of driving demand of MAST up - which is what we all want.

Haven't seen any indications of volumes (which would be rather interesting) but if we start producing large volumes (buy/sell side) then we could probably ask exchanges for some sort of discount (transactional would be difficult I assume - given percentage basis for most conversions) - as we are in essence becoming a coin aggregator. Assuming people don't mind being pooled together into larger tranches which would impact turn around time (effectively a coinjoin) anyway whatever approach being used we would be driving ever larger revenue into whichever exchange we currently use...... this is something exchanges could bid on - we just need to make it widely known as a way to convert coins (quickly + effectively)

Spread the word!

Do we now re-vote for more coins to be added? I would be keen for HIRO/KIWI etc Smiley

Although an earlier suggestion for BTC / LTC might shake things up a bit.....

PS Well done devs - delivering on the commitments you've made once again - this is becoming a bit of a habit for you!!!

CoinRecycler is very close to the release of public beta. Our team has been working nonstop, so we're going to get some sleep, run some final tests later today, and then announce a release time.
Moon time?

Now I just have to find some whitecoin (?) to recycle.....

silent is not good ...

JUst tried them on the IRC channel as well - no response either.

Perhaps they are at there day jobs now... however so far they have been really responsive, so this is a concern. Perhaps busy implementing new features..... have fingers crossed..

Hi is anyone using coinking.io to 'mine' mast (via autoconvert?) if so what AltCoins are you mining? I'm struggling to get any converted=>MAST and wondering if I'm not generating enough 'source' coins to trigger the autoconvert (I understand it should be combined with others)

Was hoping to accumulate a few more before we see a Mastiff in space.....

Hi Vlizz,

Yes the net hash is low at the moment, but that was after the difficulty shot up earlier. The pre mine was actually less than 420k and is used for bountys e.g the mac wallet, faucet, block explorer, the pools, free Kiwi sign up if you were here before launch and much more.

GetKiwi - maybe of some interest to people to explain what has been done with the premine so far.... I for one am happy to say got 25 Kiwi free from launch signup + Some from the Faucet.....

Hi all,

Just received my 25 Kiwi launch bonus (sign up on pre-launch website)

That deserves an 'O for Oarsome...'

Thanks Devs - very much appreciated!

Whoo hooo - feel the burn....

We have just been put on the multiport at IPOMiner - we've been the largest m/hash for a number of hours now (over LOL + axis) now hit 1990 MH/s......

Edit: Now 3226.2 MH/s
