1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / BTG block solution value on: September 19, 2022, 04:10:09 PM
Could someone explain to me when a share is a block solution mining solo BTG (Equihash 144.5 algo)? Is there a way to know if you found a block by the value of the share you submit?

I thought it works the same as on ETH, where you need to submit a share with a value equal or higher to the network difficulty to find a block; but I've submitted a 6.5M share when the network difficulty is around 500K and still didn't get the block.

Sparkpool still has the same hashrate as Ethermine, how come? Did all the miners in China switch to out of China pool servers?

How about big mining farms in China? If they're forced to close operation, since they're too big to function under the radar, shouldn't there be a big drop in the network hashrate and difficulty?

Will GMiner include the Autolykos2 algo for ERGO mining in next versions?

@nebutech

Could you implement a share validation feature that shows the difficulty of the submitted shares like GMiner and T-Rex have?

Does the --validate-shares command not work when mining ERGO? It doesn't show the difficulty of the submitted shares while on ERGO like it does on ETH.
