1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to cash out DEFI(DFI) token to a bank account? on: November 04, 2021, 03:43:30 PM
DFI is a a decentraliced coin based on bitcoin and is running on it's own blockchain. www.defichain.com (So it is not a token on an other chain)

Cakedefi is a centraliced company in singapore providing different services, one is easy but limited access to DeFiChain.

If you have DFI at cakedefi and what to cash them out you need a crypto to fiat gateway.
1. transfer to KuCoin or Bittrex (both are good)
2. End of this month you can also use the www.dfx.swiss (at the moment only fiat to DFI) to directly Swap your DFI to your SEPA (Euro) account.
3. End of November of beginning of December you will also be able to use the Defichain DEX directly from Cakedefi to swap your DFI to ETH or BTC and then you can transfer it to whatever account/wallet you would like to send.
4. you could also use the defichain directly, but it need several spent and the way you ask I think 1-3 would be better for you.

This is a mandatory update for the upcoming Fort Canning chain upgrade. It contains key features and fixes.
Fort Canning upgrade is set for block 1367000 (approx. ETA Monday, 15 Nov 2021) on mainnet.

Update of mainnet node before the chain upgrade block is REQUIRED.

What’s Changed

Improved on-chain mechanics for oracle pricing and fault tolerance with dedicated support for fixed time interval pricing.
updatemasternode RPC that currently enables updating a masternode's operator address. (#687)
setforcedrewardaddress RPC that enables providing a dedicated address for masternode rewards. (#642)
Other noteworthy improvements:

#704: getmasternodeblocks RPC now correctly returns blocks minted by all subnodes.
#686: spv_refundhtlcall RPC - Gets all HTLC contracts stored in wallet and creates refunds transactions for all that have expired.
#711: listaccounthistory RPC now only includes a record if the transaction is trusted (confirmation > 0).
#722: Anchoring cost has now been reduced to BTC dust (minimum possible).
#752: Tx fees, which were being burnt after Eunos upgrade will now be included in block rewards again from Fort Canning.

TenX waren immer 3 Leute.

https://crypto.com/cards

There is a new major Upgrade for DefiChain expected this month.

Mid November the Ford Canning update will bring support for decentralised Stock Tokens, decentralised Loans and Liquidity Mining with Stocks - dUSD Liquidity Pairs. So you will be able to buy for example buy a synthetic Tesla Stock token and not only benefit from the price increase, you can also put it into Liquidity mining and get additional cash flow.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better: Ethereum or the Binance Smart Chain? on: September 06, 2021, 08:08:04 AM
I love BSC for it's cheep prices. But BSC is not a decentralised chain. It is a pure binance chain.
Also the ETH developer community is much bigger.

So what is better? Huh
It depends, what is important for you. But once Ethereum has a solution for the huge fees, it will be hard for BSC.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum's first ever deflationary day. What does this mean? on: September 06, 2021, 07:56:47 AM
The reduced supply caused the price of ETH to increase, but also caused the gas fee of the ERC20 platform to spike, making it difficult for many projects to use ERC20 if not improve this may mean ETH will not be able to grow more using BNB or other platforms.

It is the other way round. Not the reduced supply caused the gas fee to spike. The Spike in the gas fees caused the increased burning rate and therefore the reduced supply.

Yes you are right, the huge gas fees is a major issue. But L2 solutions and Ethereum are working on that. But it takes time.
