Up here for your consideration is a vintage Waterman’s Ideal CARDINAL RED HARD RUBBER 52 fountain pen, which was manufactured in USA circa 1909.

This Waterman’s is a fine example, in ORANGE CARDINAL RED HARD RUBBER with gold filled trim and a Waterman’s 14ct solid gold nib. The color is a pattern that was exclusive to Waterman during the Golden Age.

The pen is in nice condition, very glossy body with nice crisp imprint. There is some minor wears due to age.

The model 52 is engraved at the end of the barrel.

The pocket clip and side lever bear the ‘IDEAL’ globe logo, which is crisp and stunning.

The lever filling system of the pen is in perfect working order. A new sac has been fitted.

It is really rare and highly sought after Waterman, considering its age (almost 100 years) and in this nice condition.

Mabie Todd Swan – Up here is a vintage Mabie Todd Swan Self-Filler pen, model #3161, which was manufactured in England circa 1940s.

The pen is in nice condition, new old stock, very attractive and highly collectible pattern.

The pen is a complete set, comes with its original paper gift box, the guarantee and instruction paper.

The pen is an new old stock. On the cap is a worn price sticker at the past time. The whole body of the pen is nice and glossy in nice condition.

The pen is superbly detailed, ‘SWAN’ signature all around. On the top back of the pocket clip is a ‘SWAN’ embossed. Also ‘SWAN’ brand name is embossed on the feed and section. The imprint is impressive on the barrel.

The model #952V is engraved at the end of the barrel. There are also some imprints on the barrel and barrel end.

This Waterman’s is a fine example, in eye-catching gorgeous rare silver black striped marble, and semi-transparent amber striped barrel. You can see thru the amber semi-transparent barrel under the light clearly, and you will not be disappointed.

The chrome plated pocket clip, cap band and side lever is in parallel lines art-deco patterning.

The pen is in nice condition. It bears a large Waterman’s Account 14ct solid gold nib, with nice keyhole airhole.

The Waterman Pen Company was established in 1883 in New York City by Lewis Waterman. Waterman's improvement on basic pen design and aggressive marketing played a vital role in making the fountain pen a mass-market object. The essential novelty of Waterman's first fountain pens was the feed, for which his first pen-related patent was granted in 1884. By 1899, Lewis Waterman opened a factory in Montreal was was offering a variety of designs.

Waterman's opened subsidiaries in Europe to meet international demand. A Waterman Fountain pen won the Medal of Excellence at the 1900 Paris World Exposition. In 1901, upon Waterman's death, his nephew took the business overseas and increased sales to 350,000 pens per year.

Waterman's fountain pen was extremely desirable. The Treaty of Versailles was signed using a solid gold Waterman pen, by Prime Minister David Lloyd George.

Up here is a vintage Parker vacumatic fountain pen, which was manufactured in USA circa 1930s.

The pen is in nice condition.

On the pocket clip there is a “STAR” at the top. This is specially rare which only produced for a few months during 1930s.

The pen illustrates silver pearl striped pattern, and it is amber SEMI-TRANSPARENT, you can see the ink flow inside.

The pen bears an art-deco capband;

The pen also bears deluxe double jewels, with matching silver striped marble pattern.

It is fitted with a Parker 14ct solid gold nib, writing smooth medium line.

A new vacumatic sac has been fitted. The speedline filling system is special and in working order. .

This Parker Duofold is a fine example, in stunning, rare and most sought after MADARIN YELLOW.

The pen is in nice condition, only some wears due to age.

It is in royal black, with gold trim, and a rare stunning art-deco gold capband featured.

The pen is superbly detailed, with 'SWAN' signature all around. On the top back of the cap is a 'SWAN' embossed. Also 'SWAN' brand name is embossed on the feed and section. The imprint is impressive on the barrel.

The pen bears a SWAN 14ct solid gold nib. A new ink sac has been fitted to the pen. The self-filler system is in perfect working order. The pen has been serviced and tested for its full functionality.

This stylish SWAN is a fine example of Mabie Todd - The pursuit of excellence. This Swan is a classic elegance and has been produced to the highest standards of craftsmanship. This would make an excellent gift to treat yourself or for someone special.

Mabie & Todd Co Ltd was started circa 1845, when Henry Todd and John Mabie combined their business for the manufacture of pen holders, pencil cases and the other related products. Around 1878, the company began its production of fountain pens.

The 'Swan' pen trademark is first adopted in 1884.

In 1909 production of pens is begun in England and the tradmark 'Swan, the pen of the British Empire' comes into use. Eventually, 'Swan' became another word for 'pen' in the popular lexicon.
Around 1923, the firm began production of its line of 'Eternal' pens, featured the lever fillers. These were very solid and well made pens, with several attractive colours available.

Till now, Swan fountain pens are highly sought after by collectors around the world.

The Waterman’s Argent is a safety pen. You can screw and unscrew the barrel end to load and unload the nib.

The ripple is a pattern that was exclusive to Waterman during the Golden Age. There is also gothic sterling silver overlay in nice condition.

The pen is in nice condition. There is no scretches, cracks, dings and dents all over the body.

The Waterman Pen Company was established in 1883 in New York City by Lewis Waterman. Waterman’s improvement on basic pen design and aggressive marketing played a vital role in making the fountain pen a mass-market object. The essential novelty of Waterman’s first fountain pens was the feed, for which his first pen-related patent was granted in 1884. By 1899, Lewis Waterman opened a factory in Montreal was was offering a variety of designs.

Waterman’s opened subsidiaries in Europe to meet international demand. A Waterman Fountain pen won the Medal of Excellence at the 1900 Paris World Exposition. In 1901, upon Waterman’s death, his nephew took the business overseas and increased sales to 350,000 pens per year.

Waterman’s fountain pen was extremely desirable. The Treaty of Versailles was signed using a solid gold Waterman pen, by Prime Minister David Lloyd George.
