So my nft recently sold for around like $13 but when i checked my meta mask wallet i didn't receive it, and the funny thing is when i check it on polygonscan it says that it was confirmed? i check my polygon wallet or matic mainet on metamask and it says i have 0.02 polygon, which is about 3 cents. is it because of fees that the net amount of money i received is 3 cents?

Really such stories are so inspiring because at young age if you can identify such opportunities then you are really set to make a lot of money once you reach your mid of 30's or 40's. Probably at those age you may even retire if you wish as then you will make money work for money and keep enjoying passive income. Wish I had such early start in my career.

yeah man, I definitely want to take advantage of the opportunities crypto has, especially before something major could happen. long term I plan on working maybe 2 jobs and then one side hustle, because now I am legally eligible to work in my state, I'm going to save up as much as I can, invest occasionally, open up a credit card with step to build up credit, then hopefully in a year I will have about 10-15k saved up, which I can then use to put a down payment on a small house/tiny home which I can then airbnb or rent it out, generating passive income which will eventually pay off the house and generate more income because I won't have to pay mortgage once it's paid off, meaning more money proffited.

Wish I knew the real reason why you went into NFTs. Your age is 15yrs plus  or 16 now, right? At that age you will need to be really srong enough to control yourself or you could be controlled by the world around you whether good or bad.  If your intention is too get rich quick through NFT, you could ignore certain warning signs, take big risk and make big mistakes. So, you have to be really sure about what you are chasing after and be careful else you fall into traps from people who will decieve and take advantage of you, like you said they did to you with the payment processor you mentioned above.

I'm always careful with recommended contents on the internet or from sites that show you the content based on your interest.  The bad ones could use that to make you do whatever they want you to do or be, if they understand you really well especially by spying on your conversation with friends, family etc. If they succeed in using you, you are part of the Matrix and doing the will of an evil entity that controls it.
So, be sure to do and choose what is right while dealing with NFTs and others.

the reason I created the nft is because unlike most nfts, having fancy graphic designs and all, I wanted to prove something simple could also have a shot as becoming popular with some value to it.

Well, as long as it is useful, serves important purpose or represents something useful.

If I may ask, what can your NFT do for me if i obtain one today?  What can I do with it?

I really hope you do the right thing and succeed.

it represents the average online identity of someone. we all have our own unique talents, but unless we open up to other people, we are all stripped of our uniqueness and just seen as another human being.

and if enough people see the message it portrays and therefore raises its value, then you could sell it, i guess.

this is my first post on this site, ive been browsing posts on this forum for almost 5 months now but just now decided to create an account

future apologies if this is in the rule breaking (i read the rules thoroughly so i guess this isn't violating anything?)

anyways, at February of last year i got into bitcoin, as i used to sell game items online, and most of the time people used bitcoin, which at the time i didn't really know much about, until i discovered that a then-14-year-old kid could create a wallet on blockchain.com and send and receive bitcoin for free through your phone. after about a day of a friend explaining to me how it worked, i sold a video game group (roblox group) that had some value in it for about 100$ worth of bitcoin.

fast forward to december of 2020, i had not really spent any of my bitcoin, i just held my $100 from that sale i got a few months ago, when i noticed that my portfolio balance was just under $300, which is almost a 300% return! i quickly rushed to try and sell it for regular cash, at the time i only had a 5 year old all in one desktop with integrated graphics, and as a game developer, i desperately needed a gaming computer, which was why i was trying to sell my bitcoin, so that i could use the $300 from that + some cash i had saved up to buy a gaming laptop. I went to bitcoin atms, pawn shops, gold/silver traders, even currency exchangers, but found out that bitcoin atms only allow you to purchase bitcoin, not sell it, and that all the other shops had nothing to do with bitcoin. running out of options, and in my desperation, i made the mistake of looking online for someone to exchange my bitcoin for money on paypal. i found an individual on a forum, a site that i regularly used to trade game items, willing to exchange his money on paypal for my bitcoin. i guess you know how that went... in my desperation, fearing that the sudden rise in price was going to go down any moment, i went first and sent him my bitcoin, only to get blocked. not too proud of that one.

now, to march of 2021, i met a family friend, who introduced me to ethereum technology, including nft's. i was really amazed at how some simple art could sell for thousands of dollars. i knew i wanted to get into it, but i always procrastinated and forgot about it for awhile, that is until recently when a video popped up in my recommended about how to create an nft, aswell as an explanation to how everything worked, which gave me motivation to create one, which i did, and you can see it here on rarible.com https://rarible.com/token/0x60f80121c31a0d46b5279700f9df786054aa5ee5:1278616?tab=bids

anyways, i was wondering if anyone here had any ideas as to how i could spread the word about my newly released nft, since not too many people on social media know anything about crypto. ideas?
