1  Other / Off-topic / Re: investment for the long term? on: September 12, 2021, 08:12:23 PM
I would recommend to only invest after you understand how the cryptocurrency that you are investing in works. Make sure you trust the team behind it and make sure the network is secure.
As it is now, only invest a small sum of money (something that would not have a huge impact on your life if you lost it) and make sure you are 100% convinced that the cryptocurrency and the technology behind it is a good idea. Ideally, you should be totally sold on the multiple applications and genuinely believe it will have a big impact on our day to day life at some point in the next 4-6 years.

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a safe haven? on: September 12, 2021, 07:33:52 AM
Some crypto advocates have argued Bitcoin can be a good safe haven for investors when other Markets like that of Gold get stormy. Unlike national currencies, Bitcoin is not linked to any government or national economy. There's also an eventual cap on its supply. Asides from the well known fact that it’s a secured platform, as all other cryptocurrencies.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Give me some investment advice on: September 12, 2021, 07:15:50 AM
Do not expect to get rich quick. The huge price hikes of 2017 has come and gone. Most likely you will not see it happen again. There will allways be two sides of a story. First side by the non believers who will warn you to keep away. It’s s scam or ponzi sceme. They are the type of people that normally do not succeed in their goals in life. Secondly you will find the avid investors. People who believe in what they do. People who get to know a product before investing. Will the product increase in value? If yes feel free invest BUT do not invest more than you can afford to lose. Do not fall for the negativity reports. If you do you WILL lose your money. If you buy bitcoin etc at a certain price do NOT sell below that price. Be patient. Do your research well and ask questions. Be willing to pay schoolfees. Learn and remember from experience. But also remember nothing in life is gauranteed not even life itself.

A gift that will make the person happy something like Sly Stallone Mighty Mick's Boxing Sleeveless Hoodie, A Top-Notch Fitness Tracker. This is more preferred and it going to make such person happy though.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you lend your cryptocurrencies? on: September 11, 2021, 08:43:31 PM
Of course yes i will like to borrow my cryptocurrency because Crypto lending is a type of trade where you lend out your cryptocurrency and earn interest from it. Crypto lending works similarly to traditional lending services but unlike a traditional bank loan, crypto lending is mostly P2P. This mean users are borrowing directly from each other instead of a financial institution or the lending platform itself and the core difference is that loans are issued on decentralised platforms. The peer to peer lending industry could possibly disrupt traditional providers of debt by providing an interesting opportunity for investors to achieve an attractive and stable stream of passive income while also offering a fast and customer friendly way to meet the financing needs of borrowers.
10  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are NFTs a scam? on: September 11, 2021, 05:24:13 PM
First of all, do you think Ethereum is legit? It might be YES! Well, you must think the same for NFTs
NFTs means non-fungible-tokens.
NFTs are extremely secure, and safe.
They can be programmed, stored on transferred on exchange or wallet that is based on ERC-721 or ERC-1155 which is the platform that Ethereum is also based on the blockchain technology.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Should you (or anyone) buy Cardano? What will Cardano be worth in 5 years? on: September 11, 2021, 05:16:35 PM
You can’t know if any single coin/token will even exist in five years, let alone predict its price. The question you should be asking is “What is Cardano, and what does it offer?”. Similarly, if its similar to a different coin, does it offer better features and options compared to its competition. How are the updates? Do they post frequent updates on their social media, are they on track with their roadmap.
These are just general questions you should be asking about every single crypto when investing. And here’s a word of advice: Do your own research and invest only as much as you are willing lose.
