Like I said, ARM support was in delgon cpuminer-gr repo. It had some changes so it compiled fine on ARM, not like improvements, more like compatibility.
I also never even noticed raptoreum github had cpuminer repo it was never linked anywhere so I did not scan every single repo they had on their GitHub account. All links on the site and given to ppl on discord were from the dev repo in the beginning. After some time they were switched to Wyvern repo with current cpuminer-gr-avx2

Aaaa, you mean the problem is that they put binaries from the dev repo (https://github.com/npq7721/cpuminer-gr) into raptoreum repo withoud doing PR of the code.
I always used npq7721 as it was the one linked long time ago so did not notice the change now.

raptor3um is plagiarised. The source code is from my repo but the binaries don't match the source, do not trust them.

You are talking about this one? https://github.com/Raptor3um/cpuminer-opt
Well, code is changed because they added whole GhostRider algo logic.

If you are defending plagiarism you are not to be trusted.

Wait, what?
So, let me get this straight
1. Your fork of cpuminer-multi with changes is OK
2. Fork of cpuminer-gr (which is a fork of cpuminer-opt) that changes colors of prints and stays open source is OK - cpuminer-gr fork that I mentioned before

but!
Fork of cpuminer-opt that adds another algo is not ok?

How is that logical? Your logic also makes you a plagiarist of cpuminer-multi in that case as well.
If you say that forking GPL code and adhering to GPL license (staying open source) is bad, I have a lot of questions in that case

Maybe you should post his bitcointalk profile link here so that we can tell why he got banned

Got his profile link here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3282724

he can create another profile and use it only to appeal in meta. I have seen people get unbanned before

There are some 3rd party sites that archive. We will be able to see the post even if it was deleted by the mods

So he should create new account, isnt that like ban evasion or whatever if he was already banned? How is that different from what he already did from sending mail to bitcointalk ppl? so they never read their mails and thats why he should post in forum where they actually read stuff?

Where is the Ghostrider ARM support?

The version that compiles on ARM was created here: https://github.com/michal-zurkowski/cpuminer-gr by Delgon. It is not anymore on Raptoreum website Download section as the code itself is not optimized for normal CPUs like improved vesrion below.

All I see is bullshit claims without any evidence. Where is this elusive miner? It's not recommended my Raptoreum as was claimed.
Where's the KNL code?
And the Delgon and Ausminer cpuminer-gr that is mostly used is here: https://github.com/WyvernTKC/cpuminer-gr-avx2 not sure what is "ellusive" about it as it is literally in the Download section on Raptoreum website.
KNL binaries were mostly dropped since version after 1.1 as the interest was not so great with it iirc.

Where did Wolf vouch for him?
Delgon was doing a misc checks for Wolf as RTM team though he might put GR logic together and push a miner for GPUs but he dropped it and andrucrypt (Wildrig) made it instead. If you know him, you can ask him about Delgon, they were colborating and Wolf was quite active in RTM discord for a long time, did not see him lately tho.

Here Wolf's reaction about cpuminer-gr fork being on Bitcointalk just fine where they changed colors and address to the Delgon and Ausminer dev fee wallets but main cpuminer-gr and dev was banned. And some other of him talking about the miner

Ugh, would have expected more from cpuminer-opt dev... or is it cpuminer-jdd, or would it be JayDDee Miner on the site hmmm...
I think setch1 is also not a dev of xmrig coz it the miner repo does not have his name, damn, so many imposters.

A quick look at who is actually pushing changes and releasing miner and you have your answer.

If the standard is GitHub user must be the same as the username here and preferably the same as the miner name then I do not think I would ever be able to meet those and would get insta banned like Delgon lol.

Been on the internet for too long to know there are no absolutes there.
Also, do not forget that 99% of mods in high circles have huge power trip so even if they falsely banned him, they would never  admit their fault.

This site is def great for posting new miner to spread the word but just thought about getting banned after for some unknown (or even nonexisting) reason points into that it is not so good in the end. Lack of any communication from the mod team to him was already telling that they do not rly care about users much.

I don't know any dev that improved the Ghostrider algorithm because I am mining Raptoreum and the only dev that I know is the real one,who is also providing the binaries through the official Github through the Raptoreum official website.

Any smart dev that provides an "improved" version of this algorithm is most probably providing people malware and once it is known that it is malware getting him banned is the best thing to do in the forum so we can save some unsuspecting newbies by downloading this infected software.

I'm talking about Delgon. If you are mining RTM and are on Discord, you know him. It is his miner that is linked on the official Raptoreum website. You can search him and bitcointalk where he talks about how he got banned for his one and only post about cpuminer-gr.

If you can't give any specific details about the case, we can't give you any explanation or even an idea of what might have happened. The ban was what it was, and you have to move on. However, there are cases where a ban makes sense, and I can assure you that there is no personal vendetta against him or any other member. If you feel that a ban has been unjust, then the best way to remove it is to contact the staff or post about it on the Meta section. A staff members will review the situation and either remove the ban or explain why it was justified.  But please give us something more specific than just, "suspicion" and "concerns", because otherwise we won't really be able to do anything for you.

I saw that post but it is hard to give more "proof" as mods just deleted the post and banned him. It was his only post so hard for it to be related to something else. What is weird imo that there is no way of communication for him with mods or whatever to explain or so the mods can give some info.

Maybe whoever you are talking about got caught in the ban wave where people were spamming malware 4x a day and it looked a lot like one of their posts.  Either way if its sus its getting banned, not that big of a deal.

So it is okay to be just falsily banned and that you cannot do anything about it? weird mentality but ok?

I heard about one whoch i do not know but i saw the post of the cpuminer-gr dev where he literally put link to the github repo (fork of cpuminer-opt), some small info about it and donation addresses. Not sure how that was wrong, hence my main question how to determine if i get banned from posting github link with miner or now.

It is literally miner that probably 60% of GR miners use, it was more as it was literally the fastest and only good option back then, is open source and out there for some time for now so not sure how that might be bad.

He talked about main GR coin discord about it some time ago. What i personally did not like about it is that apparently there are no reason he got about the ban, just ban, no explanation, no questions asked or answered when he asked about it.

Hello,

I heard a few stories about some of the open-source miners main devs just straight up getting banned from here from posting their miner, talking here about a dev that improved GhostRider for cpuminer  (cpuminer-gr) and posted it here and is used mostly by GR algo coins, but others that just post modified versions without or changes fees to their own (just search for cpuminer-gr forks here), or just use the GPL miners in the closed-source (rplant or example) are allowed and kept here.

My question is if I want to announce/release my miner how should I announce it so mods do not ban me for nothing?

Due to info about open-source miner devs getting banned and closed-source being kept here, I lean heavily towards pushing it as closed source

I want to post here but if legit devs are being banned without any explanation or info about it, it is kinda discouraging xD
