1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What’s the best advice you would give to new casino players? on: October 02, 2025, 09:04:18 PM
Try to practice discipline from the very start. Always strictly follow your plan without fail, as you will be the one who benefits from it. Don’t always dream about making a life-changing win from a small amount. Although it’s possible, the chances are very small. So, keep it low, because if you keep thinking about it, it could affect your emotions and your focus, which is not good, as that will lead to worse situations.

Why is no one saying understand gambling and have skill to win than all this advices. A gambler without knowledge of gambler isn't no longer a gambler but a loser that have money to throw at casino. Most often, people that loss much to casinos are people that doesn't know how to bet, yet want to bet but didn't care to learn about it. Why should a person be gambling in the first place when they don't know what they are playing, it's not ideal.

It's when you know how to gamble you can apply discipline, the rule of money can follow when you have the skills to gamble, that's when you know the amount to gamble, the money to risk, when to exit and know the bankroll to work with. That's when you know yourself better, when you can schedule time for your games and never compromise your finance for anything in gambling, these are the secondary things you should put in mind as a gambler.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26 on: October 02, 2025, 08:01:04 PM
The season is still very much fresh no doubt and just one game lost isn't a big deal but on the other hand it is a big deal too but there's no way we are expecting them to go unbeaten in the season, just like Barcelona had their early draw that led Real Madrid take a lead in the Spanish LA Liga that same way this losing led Barcelona to take the lead too, but the only thing is Xabi Alonso should just keep his head up and understand the league more to avoid these mistakes because there are still very much tough games ahead and I believe he wouldn't like it to keep going this way.

It's a big deal and it send a strong message to minor teams that they can take down any team that feels they are bigger. Wiyh the way Atletico Madrid was unstable, I knew one day they were going to use one team as a come back and that comeback is going to be a scape goat unknowingly Real Madrid was the scapegoat. They dealt with them with full satisfaction, I was loss of words that day because it was unexpected, I didn't see it coming from any angle.

Now that Barcelona has taken a lead, I hope Real Madrid don't lose another game from here. Any loss from here means they are not going to make it again. The Barcelona that I know will do anything for draw match but will not do anything to be taken down with loss. It's not good to lose game but it's better to draw and have 1 point than make loss and lastly what I fear is El clasico, Real Madrid doesn't look to stable to beat Barcelona, I don't know how they are going to do it but it's going to be hard.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble because of others storyline on: October 02, 2025, 07:49:58 PM
If we are to begin compiling what people share with us about gambling, I am sure many of us would quit, not to join gambling because what we will hear mostly in the mouths of people would be about their gambling losses.

I look at it as stupidity when someone gambles, desperate to win, because someone they know won in gambling. Have they thought about the person's losses before they had that win they told them about? I will be the last person to gamble desperate to win because a friend has won, let me win mine also, that's stupidity.

There is always two side to every coin. If you sit down with some people that has seen the bad side of gambling, I mean people that loss money beyond what they imagine you will think there spirituality with gambling, they paint it like it's the reason why they are not successful in life when it's actually there obsession to make money that lead them to where they never expected, when you want to make an impossible becomes possible, such things doesn't end well.

Similarly, there are some people are gifted, luck shouldn't be the best name to describe them. They just do their thing with their skills and get their fair share from casino. They don't cheat, they don't over bet, they don't even socialize that much and yes they make good money from gambling but don't try to be like them unless you are close to them to monitore how they bet and how they risk their money, blindly following them will lead you to losses.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble on your birthday? on: October 02, 2025, 07:06:36 PM
Just last week, I attended a close friend's birthday. The guy is so happy and ecstatic, food and drinks are pouring. This was not like his last birthday, when he celebrated it last year in a simple manner.

Out of curiosity, we asked him, and he told us that he had just won $1,000 hours before his birthday. It's his tradition to allocate a portion of the winnings, so if he wins, he will have a grand celebration; if not, he'll just make it simple.

It started in his bachelor days, when luck seemed to be on his side on his birthday, according to him, so he made it a yearly tradition.

How about you? Do you have this kind of tradition of gambling on your birthday?

He didn't disclose amount he risk to win $1000, I don't think any tradition will mandate you to spend or allocate some portions. What if he doesn't win anything, does that signigify he is not going to leave long or he isn't going to enjoy the days. Most often, traditions are superstitious believe we put in our mind but if you don't believe in it, it will absolutely do nothing on you. It's the things you believe in that can harm you psychologically.

Maybe the way we view birthdays are different, I don't see it as special day. I just go out with my woman and spend some special time and that's it. I don't any tradition or beliefs attached to it and I still gamble anyways but it has to be weekend. I don't gamble when it's not weekend unless on rare occasions of Champions League and some other domestic leagues but the week I don't see good games, I don't even bother to stake any money, I just watch match and enjoy the show.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 02, 2025, 06:46:26 PM
Manchester United never tires of constantly changing coaches. I think I'll trust Amorin until mid season. Many managers have come to Manchester United but ended up doing poorly. Honestly since Sir Alex Ferguson retired, Mourinho was the only one who had a decent amount of success with Manchester United, but he was also fired.

The only problem at Manchester United is the fans. They're so preoccupied with the past that their current game lacks philosophy. Why? Because the fans always demand victory without addressing the club's problems, and unfortunately, the owners consistently agree to the fans' requests for coaching changes. Another problem at Manchester United is the lack of mental development. Under pressure players don't use it as encouragement; instead, they use it as a burden.

If there is any club that is coach tolerance, I will hive it to Manchester United considering the backlash, poor performance they have seen since 2021. Between that period when Chelsea was experience poor performance, they have change coaches upto 5 times but Manchester United has changed just 4 except now that people want Amorim to go but the what brought him to that club as a coach isn't something we can even negotiate, if they want him leave, it would have been since.

You can't blame the fans for been intolerant with the players and the coach, didn't Chelsea undergone the same transformation, they were even worse but at a point, it became a pivot and everything became good for the club, are we now going to say Manchester United isn't that good when they used to be better than Chelsea. As a fan, it's justify because you can't lose more than you win when people don't know you with such, Manchester United has never been this bad in a long time.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What’s the right age to start gambling? on: October 01, 2025, 07:07:15 PM
We all know most countries set the legal age to gamble at 18 or 21, but it got me thinking, what really is the right age?

If you’re under 18, you probably don’t fully understand money yet. For teens, most income is from allowance or side gigs, so losing it in slots or sports betting could hurt more than they realize. That’s why rules say they’re not ready, it’s about protecting them from mistakes they can’t handle financially or mentally.

In your early 20s, you start earning your own money, but a lot of people still don’t have discipline. Some see gambling as thrill or quick cash, but they don’t really think long term.

Do you think the legal age limits (18 or 21) actually make sense, or should it be higher or lower depending on maturity?

What about going to prison, why don't you ask why 18 years old is considered as the age since you think they are not financially exposed. The main reason why 18 is used as a limit is because it's an age bracket where a teenager can take the consequences of their actions, that's the age they can make their own decisions without their parent standing for them, that's an age to make a decision that is going to affect your future, it's just about understanding money or how moeny work.

Someone can be at the age of 25 and still don't understand how money works, it's not an age thing to be financially incline but how expose you are to finance. If an 18 years old knows how to make money then he has the free will to spend the money as he wish without the consent of their parents. There are some kids that are not even upto 15 years old and if you see how they understand money and how to make money, you will be convinced that it's not about money.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26 on: October 01, 2025, 06:48:57 PM
The new real Madrid is struggling a bit, their loss to atl Madrid showed how weak their defense has become which is not how the team used to be. Madrid had a good defense and they barely concede goals carelessly in previous seasons but now that's not the case. They have given Barcelona the opportunity to surpass them and now I think it would be difficult for them to get back to the first position

Real Madrid successful matches in the last 4 season has been within good midfielders and back line. Right now, there is good back line and there is good front line but the midfield looks like under 17 academy kids. Maybe it's Xabi that doesn't know how to fully use the midfielders or it's this one's lacking but in all the matches they have struggled, I have felt the impact of Tony Kroos and Modric, there is no midfielder in that club right now that can replicate what those has played.

I still remember Bellingham appearance in the club last 2 season. He was everywhere, the day he act as a front forward he scored a goal and the day he act as midfield he provide all the assist but he is having 10 good appearance already with 1 assist and 1 goal. I forget him most of the time that he is part of players that do start. Anytime you check Arda Guler heat map, he does the midfield work than any of them right now despite been younger with experience.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will the world follow Greece on how they restrict children from online gambling on: October 01, 2025, 06:35:28 PM
Gen z kids are smart so I don't think there's measures taken can fully restrict kids from gambling. This kids wallet of a thing, is it going to curb the rate of gambling  among underage kids or is it going to increase the problem or enable it. There would always be a category of those that would be curious to know why they are being restricted and this is only going to make them look for ways to engage in it

This might not be the best solution but this is going to drastically reduce the number of under age children that are gambling. I don't like all this process of anti gambling campaign against kids because of privacy and all the violations of data but if it can be handle very well, I will support the government on this one. Some parents are not doing their duty as a guardian allowing their kids expose to internet, there are better things kids can do than usual gambling.

We have to let kids have their space and knows where they belong. It's inappropriate to see kids gamble, the money in it can mess up their heads. If there is something important like going to school, they will see it as a punishment, it wouldn't be their thing to get. Now imagine if kids doesn't want to go to school and get educated, we are going to use the rest of our lives trying to train someone else child, we haven't even look at the effects of gambling addiction.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2025/2026 on: October 01, 2025, 06:15:54 PM
Manchester United is one of the most richest team in the world if coaches can be given financial freedom to go for am player they needed, Manchester United financial capacity can afford any player needed, Manchester United problem is not from there defense not even from there manager Amorim the team lack quality players it will be difficult for the team to get back to past glory.

For how long will they be preventing other teams from not getting  goals and how can this be possible, what Manchester United needs now is good results they need to be winning games from their current position in the English premier league table they can't move forward if they keep losing games.

They are the richest but with the way they are having revenue decline, players with high wages to settle, low tickets sales and poor performance, they will some become an average club. Back then, Manchester City was in debt and financial crisis but now they are the second most richest and even close to Manchester United and high revenue generated, that's because of their last 4 Premier league trophy and Champions League they won in 4 years.

If Manchester United doesn't win any trophy, the revenue is going to decline heavily, they will need to settle this expensive contracts they have signed in the last 4 years. The ridiculous thing about these contracts is that some of these players are going to stay until 2027, meanwhile they are not giving anything back to the club but contract is a contract, they have to fulfill its full obligations and funny thing no club want to buy them, poor investment if you ask me.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Responsible Gambling in Land base casinos is is possible? on: October 01, 2025, 05:56:31 PM
What if there is a timer on slot machines that will remain us how long you are playing already.

Question 1:

Would introducing clock inside reduces our gambling session?

This is subjective to who is inside and who is playing. We all have our time to the things we do other than gambling. There are people that has nothing doing in their life other than gambling. A gambler that has limited time don't need casino clock to walk away, he will have a precise time to walk out as soon as the time reach the period they want to use in the casino.

Quote
Question 2:

Does having a timer in slot machine increase our awareness on the time that we are playing and maybe it can reduce long sessions and it might cut us from chasing our losses?

Still on the subject of slot machines, what if together with the time, it will also shows how much money we have spend already.

This also depend on what the gambler is making at that time. It's very common and easy for a gambler that is not making anything to walk away quickly than a gambler that is on the luck day of his gambling. If the slot machine is giving the gambler good win, clock wouldn't matter but if account balance tends to go to zero, time will be the most friendly thing a gambler will look at most.

Quote
Question 3:
Does it stop up from moving on if we have seen how much money we've lost already?

This is still the same, its subjective to the gambler. An addicted person that has nothing doing at home will gamble and leave when he likes than another person that has work load pileup at home waiting to be done. I think it's normal to see someone work out of casino if they see they have exhausted alot of their money than they have won in gambling whether there is clock or not.

12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport is Really the Most Profitable to Bet On? on: September 30, 2025, 08:56:07 PM
For me, football can be the best choice for betting because it is one of the most popular sports, and has a very large number of matches every week, and offers various types of bets, so you can try playing in a league that you understand better and use that knowledge to make more accurate predictions, maybe you will be able to get a higher percentage of wins, just like when you bet on basketball.

Any game can be best choice, basketball can be best or tablet tennis but what matter is which team is playing. Do you know why Premier league is one of the best league in the world? That's because it's one of the most trust judgement league and the most hardest to manipulate and easy to predict, players can't be compromised easily like the rest to the league. Anytime you see me bet on other club, then it's based on the club and not the league entirely.

I can bet on any NBA games without thinking twice but you see college basket ball? I don't value them as much as possible, it's not like they are not good or their games are not entertaining, it's just that a player can easily be compromise which is going to affect your games and your plans but if it's an NBA game, everything there is going to be by merit, no any form manipulation or favoritism, they don't allow such things that's why as a gambler you need to know the kind games you are playing.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction without loss of money. on: September 30, 2025, 08:45:19 PM
It's really rare to believe that gambling addiction exists without loss of money.Although, there's got to be other means like using non-monetary stakes to gamble. But that notwithstanding, gambling can still be addictive because of the constant circles of risks that it comes with.

Gambling addiction exist without loss of money my buddy. Have you seen gamblers that are bless, I mean the street OT gamblers that are well equipped with skills and knowledge of gambling and they make good money. It's not like they don't make loss in gambling, they do but overall they are money making gamblers than the usual gamblers we do see with addiction and there is no day that goes without them trying gambling even if it's to try game they are don't watch often.

I believe when they say addiction, it means something you can't go a day without trying out. That's what some people do in gambling, every blessed day they try one and two games together, some people called it cooking of odds and then bet what they can lose at that time, some of them are very good at skills, their overall daily turn out don't go below their risk rate, always ahead of the casino even though they lose money there is always another game to make back the money.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26 on: September 30, 2025, 08:26:09 PM
At the end of the first half, Real Madrid is leading 1- 0. Mbappe scored the  goal from the penalty spot. Anyway , in the first half, Madrid players could not score any more goals despite their great efforts.

Real Madrid players had 71 % ball possession. Madrid players had 9 shots, while Kairat players had  5 shots. But , they could not break Madrid's strong defense. In the second half, we will probably see a more organized gameplay from Real Madrid players. Perhaps Alonso has already been able to identify the weaknesses of Kairat's defense. He will definitely change Madrid's strategy in the second half.

I was watching this match when my friends were mocking me that Real Madrid is known for nothing but penalties because of the early goal we had. It's been a while I talk about Real Madrid, I have seen people attack Real Madrid about their encounter with Atletico. I admit the midfield was weak and defense was looking too fragile, they don't know when to attack but maybe Atletico meant business while Real Madrid thought they could have it easy in the match.

They had their correction and has Kairat a scape goat today. Now, people are having a change of mouth that the team isn't a top tier 1 team. The same thing that is toping in there second place in there league. We are going to stay stronger like we never had any obstacles this season. This season, we are back at second place but it's just 1 place from the top of the table, as long as we don't have plenty of loses there is hope to still compete with the top place.

I imported to Bitcoin.com wallet but my balance didn't reflect, let me import to blue wallet and see if balance will reflect so I proceed.
Bitcoin.com is a close source wallet also. I do not recommend close source wallets.

If you want to continue using Bluewallet, it is better you delete the seed phrase you imported on it from Trust wallet after you have transferred all the coins from the wallet and it is confirmed on where you transferred it to. Generate a new seed phrase on Bluewallet instead which should be using as a new wallet instead.
I imported to bluewallet and I saw the balance reflected, but there is another problem, each time i try to input the amount I want to withdraw, the app will just force stop and take me back to the home screen, tried several times but the same thing again and again.

I think I'll give it time and try again. Thanks for your help.

Are using an android device? If yes, then you have to check your phone if there is enough RAM on your phone. Unless there is a bug in the current version 7.2.1, it should be doing fine on your phone.

If the problem persist, download electrum on playstore, it's light just like blue wallet but becareful, there is a lot of reports about clone playstore applications.

For better experience, if you have a PC, download Electrum on their website[1], verify the download and import your recovery phrase, your transaction should be fine after that.

Trust wallet is one of the least wallet you should be using for Bitcoin transaction, you can see that you can't even customize the transaction fee, you will be over paying sats for common transaction.

If you go to your wallet settings~Preference~node settings~Bitcoin, you should be able to see the condition of your server. Right now, the server is slow and you can't broadcast any transaction.

What you should do! Download blue wallet for mobile, export your recovery phrase to Blue wallet, you should be able to send your Bitcoin easily.

As far as you are alive it is always good to be back. Spamming is from the beginning and why spamming will not end because knowledge is not equal. And those who don't have the knowledge in bitcoin is also here and many here learning from the forum and that is why when you check the beginners and help section with politics you see the major spammers. But in any of the technical section it is filtered. Gambling section is an another place of it.
And that is why the ignore button is added to the forum for users to use. And you can select a good board to post so you won't see them. Welcome back to the forum.

Spamming isn't about lack of knowledge, I think it's more of purpose of everyone in the forum. There are users that are highly inclined with Bitcoin knowledge but will used half of their time on the forum to troll members of the forum especially if they have some beef or some altercation going on in the forum.
I can create a thread now for something useful and another mentally derange person that knows what his doing to spam the thread with off topic replies.

Have you seen people that disguised on the forum with the intention of pure spam but make it looks professional. Recently I saw a post on the beginner board, it was about using an app for mining, this was a very good company that has a created a browser, I'm not sure if their is another intention of been scam or malware but the OP was using mining to lure people to download the app, he was creating thread on different board until the mod got his attention and eventually took an action, this are also spammets but professionals.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: MicroStrategy Buys $250M in Bitcoin, Calling the Crypto ‘Superior to Cash’ on: September 28, 2025, 05:23:55 PM
Yes, I mean here that Michael Saylor has now reached old age, and MSTR Company Bitcoin holding is long-term but human life is short-term. So as long as he lives, he will continue to buy Bitcoin for a long time and keep Bitcoin holding alive. Because he mentioned the promise of buying 1.5 million Bitcoin, here he has taken about 5 more years to hold 639835 Bitcoins.
So it will take him a few years in the future to buy 1.5 million Bitcoins and hold them, based on this promise, I have made this assumption that Michael Saylor will continue to buy Bitcoin for as long as he lives.

CEO is a title given to a person to highest stake holder, I don't Micheal Saylor is the only person with the dream of making Microstrategy a Bitcoin place, if today he is no longer alive, another person is going to take over from where he stop, the mission is going to remain the same, though there could be some doubt if there is a new person on board as the CEO but I don't think the company will come this far and then rubbish their investment, the company is about fulfilling it's vision and mission and not about Michael Saylor ambition alone.

1.5 million coin isn't going to be easy as you think. The 600k stash of Bitcoin they are holding right now, half of it was bought when the price was low, the total amount of Bitcoin they are holding now at today price is worth $6B plus on the market and that's not even half of the projected plan. If they want to buy the remaining amount of Bitcoin, they are going to need billions or double that amount because Bitcoin price isn't going to be the same in the future.

20  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are majority of people really poor? on: September 28, 2025, 04:51:08 PM
The main reason everyone can not be rich is because of the lack of knowledge and exposure to what can make them become rich.

If everyone is rich, life can not be balanced, but it is not good to be poor. Some people are poor because they lack education.

Knowledge, education and exposure are very important.

Knowledge to escape poverty? Lol, you must be a genius at escaping poverty or at least be a mentor as a rich person.
From experience, nobody knew if they were going to be born into a rich family, average home or a poor home, it's all about who gave birth to you and parents after them. If your parents or grandparents happened to be at the wrong side of history, they will certainly be poor than be an average people. Some people that you see are rich today had some opportunity they laid there hands on that some people didn't, some people were wealth aware than the other, these are the things that contribute to wealth of some families today.

The end to poverty start from one person taking risk in the family, the risk can be legal, moral or immoral, it could also be illegal but on the outside of wealth, people don't view it that way, wealth is wealth and that's is how some people are able to get out of poverty. There is one person that has taken the risk for them to enjoy the richness they have at that particular time and the more the generation continue to take risk, the more wealthy the generation becomes, it has nothing to do with knowledge.
