Personally I'm a newbie and I've always gotten constructive criticism and didn't feel disrespected. I've always gotten help when I needed help. But I also try to do my own research and learn on my own before asking for help. Almost everyone here is here because they want to help. Id be annoyed if it felt like a newbie was asking a simple question easy to find on their own before they even tried and I have a feeling that's more often than we'd like to think. It doesn't pay to be given the answers and an experienced user knows this. I guess in short one I think common scenario is "if you ask a stupid question you're gonna get made fun of a little bit" - Dwight Schrute.

Yes CC is cold card. Swan is the exchange. I did export the psbt to the sd card and insert it into the CC and hit "Ready to sign to which i get this msg on the "none of these keys belong to this coldcard. Need "XXXXX" i verified the wallet number is the one that was created in blue with the exported CC skeleton wallet as well. The skeleton and the watch only wallet came from the same cold card. I have the leys the addresses with the btc just dont show up in the skeleton wallet. Would someone explain possibly what that even did. I know it's derivation realted but I'm so new to this level of tech stuff [moderator's note: consecutive posts merged]

A few months ago I setup a CC for stacking sats off swan. I generated a watch only wallet from the CC xpub QR code, and began sending my sats to the addresses generated from that watch only wallet. Yesterday I decided to switch to blue wallet. I exported the skeleton from that same CC to my blue wallet and it shows zero balance so I scanned the CC xpub QR code with the blue wallet and it popped up my balance. I can not sign transactions generated from the watch only wallet. The CC says something like "can not sign with out the leys. Need 'XXXXXX' keys". I'm sure I'm missing something here so any help but much appreciated.

So either i figure out how to change the derivation path by either of those routes or is it possible to load the skeleton on the app off of the sdcard??

Agh...yes. I will verify that! I did verify the addresses i have listed on the watch only are not the addresses i used in the txn previously and are all labeled "unused"

Than perhaps i missed a step or something. Or is there a sync time? Ill have to double check the addresses on my desktop i think.

So I created a watch only wallet from my cold card xpub on my android electrum app. The wallet shows zero balance and no history. I followed the guide from electrum. I believe I have a few sats in there. Last night i exported a skeleton for electrum and loaded it up on electrum desktop. I transferred sats to that skeleton wallet address last night. Unless im missing something i should see them in the watch only wallet i just created on the electrum app off the xpub from that same CC wallet correct?
