I used to get a lot of random 1 satashi deposits from people I didn't know.  I think if someone sends you BTC on coinbase they can then see your email address and username.  I suspect someone sent out millions of 'free' satashis to harvest their email addresses and usernames.

I can assure you this is no ruse.  After losing that many coins I thought I'd never be able to recover, and thanks to Guy I will.

Some of you may remember how I lost a lot of BTC by sending it to a scammer who was posing as Spondoolies Tech here on Bitcointalk.  While I will never get those coins back, I wanted to share an update:  Guy from Spondoolies looked into the situation and made a very generous offer to offset a large percentage of the loss.  What kind of company sacrifices their profits on their extremely sought after machines to make a terrible situation better?

Spondoolies does.

While I cannot reveal the exact details I can assure you that it was the kindest thing a company has ever done for me.  They didn't have to do anything at all, as it was my fault for sending the coin to some scammer.  But they helped me tremendously and that kind of compassion for customers is very rare.  When I see how customers are treated by other companies in this market I felt my story had to be told.

I'm so overwhelmed by their kindness that I thought the community should know and I pledge to only buy Spondoolies equipment going forward.  

Expectations dramatically exceeded.  Kudos, Guy and Spondoolies-Tech.  You guys are the very best, and I mean that sincerely.

I had tried sending PM's to the 'Real' spondoolies account too and it was never replied to.  I'm sure it's still sitting in their inbox.

Yep, I know..  I'm the big idiot.   Their sales team was ignoring my emails and I was in a hurry to get them paid so they would ship out.  

I'm fucked, I know.  11.6 BTC is a shitload to lose and I'm only posting this so nobody else falls for this fraud on bitcointalk.

My bank wire was rejected, and someone posing as Spondoolies-Tech PM'd me with a bitcoin address and my order number.

I sent him payment, and naturally it turns out to be a total fake.

Thanks a lot Spondoolies sales for ignoring my pm's to your real account and ignoring my emails to your sales account.

Lost 11.6 BTC because of your lax sales team and BitCoinTalk allowing people to register as official company sales reps.

Absolutely terrible.
