Here, we would like to address a few important notes:
*️⃣CATENA Bridge is a trustless cross-chain protocol, which unlike other blockchain bridges does not require a intermediary or third party connection such as WalletConnect or Metamask connection. Users can directly bridge/swap their cryptocurrencies across different networks. This method, increases the transaction and funds security for its users.
*️⃣CATENA’s Trusless Bridge saves you money! Using CATENA Bridge to swap your CMCX tokens with CMCX Coin, fees are deducted from the Catena Chain’s CMCX, which are considerably lower than other chains (e.g. BSC). However, in case of using protocols such as WalletConnect, fees will be deducted from both chains!
*️⃣CATENA Bridge is designed for cross chain transactions with both EVM and non-EVM compatible networks. In the future upgrades, by enabling more networks and their cryptocurrencies, protocols such as WalletConnect will be activated (not necessary for all networks) to help facilitating the transactions.

The How-To is very simple.
*️⃣First you need to choose the send and receive networks from the drop down menus;
*️⃣Enter the amount in the “Transfer From” section;
*️⃣Enter the recipient wallet (your wallet) address in the designated field;
*️⃣Press “Proceed”
In the next page, you will be given a wallet address dedicated for your transaction.
You need to send the exact amount as you entered in the previous page to the given address, and wait for the Bridge to do its job.
❗️The whole process after you send the amount can take a couple of minutes.

We are pleased to inform that major upgrades to Catena Blockchain at block 1,600,000 has been completed successfully. This version includes various upgrades that will improve our network's functionality, interoperability, and efficiency. These enhancements open the path for the seamless integration of new validators, as well as the deployment of Catena bridge. The following is a list of the updates included in this upgrade: ■Smart Contract Enhancements: Improvements to smart contract functionality to improve performance and usability. ■Interoperability with the COSMOS network: Our platform now supports smooth operations with the COSMOS network, promoting better collaboration and integration. ■Max Priority Fee Check: We included this option to ensure that transaction fees are handled as efficiently as possible. ■Upgraded voting parameters: We've improved our voting system to offer greater efficiency and transparency in the decision-making process. ■Refreshed Votes Timestamp Increment: This feature allows for more accurate tracking of voting activity. ■ZK Functions Added to Cryptography Engine: Zero-Knowledge functions have been added to our cryptography engine, improving privacy and security. ■Connection Error Metrics for Nodes: We've included error metrics to help in the identification and resolution of node connection issues. ■State synchronization Upgrades: it allows more efficient syncing over the network. ■Node Communication Speed Improvement: We've enhanced the speed of communication between nodes for improved network performance. ■Addition of VDF and VRF functions to the Randomizer Engine: The introduction of Verifiable Delay Function (VDF) and Verifiable Random Function (VRF) boosts the reliability and integrity of the randomizer engine. ■Consensus Enhancement Using VDF and VRF: This enables a more efficient consensus mechanism, lowering the likelihood of network disputes. ■Increased Retransmit-Stage Capacity and Reset-Cycle: Enhancements to our retransmission capacity assist guarantee that data is sent across the network more effectively. ■State Engine: Improved Node Storage consumption and Auto Pruning Function: We've improved our state engine's node storage consumption and included an Auto Pruning Function, which automatically removes redundant data from the blockchain to conserve space. ■Safe State Engine Auto Pruning: We've built an advanced pruning feature that safely deletes extraneous data while retaining essential information. As we progress, we are now focusing on the integration of Delegated and Validators with the Mainnet. This crucial step is scheduled to commence on “July 12th, 2023”, precisely one month after the rerun's date. We believe this integration will further enhance the functionality and robustness of our network.
In addition to the integration, we have several exciting features lined up for launch following the Portal initiation. These include the Catena Bridge, enabling seamless interoperability, and the new Mainnet Staking Portal, which will facilitate staking activities for our community members.

The launch of a hybrid network accompanied by an Explorer capable of reading two simultaneous data sources, namely the EVM compatible and the Native network, at a remarkable speed of 50,000 TPS with a 2-second block-time, is a highly intricate task. It is worth noting that many well-known projects have attempted such a feat, but we are proud to be at the forefront of this pioneering effort. Our Explorer represents a new generation of Explorers, serving as the foundation for the Universal Block Explorer.
