1  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Steady at $114K While Shutdown Looms on: October 02, 2025, 06:48:13 AM
US government shutting down did not have any negative impact on Bitcoin instead, we have seen a breakout to the upside-down,  although weak but the momentum is not exhausted yet. If this breakout holds, that means we are going to test the ATH  from there we aim for new highs. This agrees with the prediction of those who believe that this quarter of the year will be the best we have seen in Bitcoin. Buy more and HODL!
2  Economy / Reputation / Re: Condoras RIP my friend on: October 02, 2025, 06:04:44 AM
What a big loss to this community! He was so helpful in the lending section even though I have not done business with him before but I do see how he help people with loans that comes with flexible repayment plans. We will surely miss him and his services. I pray that God grant the family, friends and all of us the fortitude to bear this great loss. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
3  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🟢 Rainbet.com | Crypto Casino & Sportsbook | Competitive Rewards 🎁 on: October 01, 2025, 09:56:46 PM
As the saying goes in the world of gambling, the longer you stay at the table, the greater your chances of losing. Unfortunately, the human brain does not function well when emotions arise; everything falls apart and you lose sight of the principles of good gambling.
Emotions affect us greatly. I am from Juar and I get excited and sometimes I cannot control myself, which is why I lose money I tell myself that I am not going to spend so much money, but it is difficult because when you are there Playing the game, you forget the value of money and that is why you lose.
You still have a lot of work to do about your gambling and I will encourage you to be more serious about it so that you can enjoy your peace as a gambler. You have to stop seeing gambling as the means of becoming rich and start seeing it as something you do when you are bored or you have nothing serious to do. This will make gambling easier for you to control and it will no longer appear painful because you will not over gamble but will be patient with the process and not make attempt to hit it so fast.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season on: September 30, 2025, 08:04:54 PM
Galatasaray Liverpool could be an interesting game.
As said, it could be an hard game for Liverpool.
Galatasary is now leading by 1-0

Huge win for 5-0 for Real Madrid vs Kairat Almathy.

Besides these, nothing relevant so far.
That match is tough as expected because the presence of Victor Osimhen will be a morale booster to the team. He is doing well so far after scoring the penalty that put them on the lead but the truth be told, Galatasaray are under intense pressure from Liverpool and it is only luck that have kept them from conceding a goal just yet. The match is still open as it is and Liverpool still have the chance to salvage the situation.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How will you know a reliable casino? on: September 30, 2025, 06:40:40 PM
How will you know a reliable casino to bet on, I don't think there is any reliable casino all casino are the same prove me wrong if all casino are not the same?
You are wrong about all casinos being the same and why will you think that when they are different companies, registered in different countries and operated by different people?

Have been betting in different casino for a very long time now most of them when I want to cash out they will lock your cash out, most at times you bet on five games if three play the cash out will not even get to  half of the total wining.
I don't know your problem with the casinos but if all the casinos treat you that way, then the problem is definitely from you. I have not had problem playing at Rainbet and other popular casinos in the forum and many people have not also had problem. Just read the TOS and find out what violations you are making that resulted in those actions.
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: September 30, 2025, 03:38:53 PM
many investors might prefer not to go in at once because they may choose to allocate some  portion of their discretionary income to the bitcoin ,putting the rest in reserve it can then be used to buy the dip when prices fall, some with a good effective cash flow management might stil have a good amount of discretionary income, after covering all their essential expenses than they invest immediately, after that they decide to share their percentage.
I can tell you for free that this pattern will land you into serious confusion and based on my experience, you will better of focusing on simple methods than complicating things for yourself. By this I mean, as a new investor or new following of this topic, just drop whatever method you have I mind and put your energy into the DCA method, test it for one year and see how great it is. Besides, it removes a lot of stress and overthinking that people do when it comes to know where the price will be because it does not care about the price, just buy with what you budgeted when the time for your DCA come.

If you get a copper member account and organize your ANN Thread properly, it will get more attention. This aspect of business also have high competition which require the highest level of professionalism to remain relevant. Finally, you will need to be patient because it takes time to build reputation so you must give the process a time to earn the trust of people and partners.
8  Other / Meta / Re: [CHARTS] Brief monthly overview of the local boards activity on: September 30, 2025, 02:19:17 PM
For the first time in this forum I'm seeing any local beat the Russian board by post count. I have not checked this thread for a while, just today I noticed that the Nigerian local board have overtaken the Russian board to become the most active local board in the forum. it is worth celebrating. Let us see what next month will bring and if the Nigerian local board can sustain the momentum.
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another opportunity on: September 30, 2025, 01:48:52 PM
The crash from $113,000 in the past days is causing panic that can be felt in the news. With the retracement of bitcoin going to $109, 315 and with the trajectory looking like it will dip further below where price is presently, traders will be careful to observe when right to enter at a strong liquidity area, inversely for long term bitcoin holders it is an advantageous time to double down on bitcoin without any course for observation wether price could dip further.
You call a retracement from $113k to $109k a crash? I don't see that as a crash because I have seen such many times and Bitcoin always find a way to bounce back. Right now the market is in good shape as those who bought during the time it retraced to $109k are all in good profits now, which means such low prices was just another buying opportunity for us and not a time to freak put. Bitcoin indeed have a way of testing those who do not understand how the market vibrates.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why does most of the none-reputable casino cook up stories on: September 30, 2025, 12:00:46 PM
Of course, people lurk around for bonuses but, I think this is what mostly put us into trouble and also it drains us at the point of trying to meet their requirements you wouldn't know when you would violate their rules where at last it would result you didn't follow up their instructions and they could decide to lock up your account, the funniest one I came across was a case where his winning was locked and they still asked him to do kyc and continue with their casino game while the winning on sports betting was locked. If it was you would still have that mind to make kyc and continue with their casino game? To me is capital "NO"!
Most casinos both reputable and non reputable have it in their TOS that the reserve the right to request for KYC at anytime when they consider it necessary. Hence, we cannot hold it against any casino when they request for KYC if it was actually stated and you accepted when signing up. What I do not understand is the aspect of locking sports betting and allowing a user to play only casino games. Maybe the user have been very successful in sports betting and the casino is no comfortable with that. Such casinos should be used with caution because they are not being professional.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Alcohol + Gambling = Recipe for Disaster? on: September 30, 2025, 11:03:21 AM
Yes, it's quite risky too! Too many uncontrolled emotions that would make you feel that you would go all out. A 'go big or go home' type of thing. We all know that mixing the two together wouldn't be a good idea.

I also tried studying while drunk, but it's not effective lol. I just forgot everything I read.
Alcohol itself is not bad because it is present in most of the things we consume daily including food. What is bad is having excess of it to the point that it will affect your sense of judgement. That stage affect gambling so much with skill-based games the worst hit when a player is drunk. For luck-based games, alcohol have major effect on the aspect of the amount they gamble with which they cannot control due to the effect of the alcohol.
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: DEX vs CEX: Why Are Decentralized Exchanges Still Only 1% of the Market? on: September 29, 2025, 08:34:35 PM
In addition to better user experience, and other minor things that have been stated by others, I think the main problem with DEX is that scammers are very active there and if you are not careful you will lose your money. Scammers can easily clone a token which if you don't look at the contract address carefully, you will lose your money to scammers. This is a major challenge with DEX, although this is smaller on magnitude compared to CEX where you can lose all your money if they are hacked or seized by the authorities.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2025/2026 on: September 29, 2025, 08:22:48 PM
Everton vs West Ham

Everton predicted lineup (4-2-3-1): Jordan Pickford (GK), Jake O'Brien, James Tarkowski, Michael Keane, Vitaliy Mykolenko, Idrissa Gana Gueye, James Garner, Iliman Ndiaye, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Jack Grealish, Beto.

West Ham predicted lineup (4-2-3-1): Alphonse Areola (GK), Kyle Walker-Peters, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Max Kilman, Malick Diouf, Mateus Fernandes, James Ward-Prowse, Jarrod Bowen, Lucas Paqueta, Crysencio Summerville, Niclas Fuellkrug.
I expect Everton to win because so many factors are on their favour among which are having a better team and home advantage. First half, Everton proved that by dominating the ball and securing a goal lead. Other things being equal, they will sustain their lead until full time. Although I bet Everton to win or draw because I want to minimize risk, since I have other fine matches I could combine with them to give me 3 odds.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Airdrops Still Worth It ? on: September 29, 2025, 07:24:41 PM
Since you are not spending money to run the airdrop, you can give it a try and set your mind correctly to align with the fact that you may or may not get any reward. Getting good reward from airdrop now is very hard because most of the new projects now fails or turn out to be scam and they use airdrop to capture the interest of people and also build their community.
15  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: What is the worst thing that can happen when you diversify? on: September 29, 2025, 02:30:12 PM
When you say diversify, are you implying spreading your money into Bitcoin and other altcoins? If that is what you mean, I will suggest you exercise cauti about diversification. on because that practice is dangerous and can make you poorer and very fast too. If you want to make it in this business, simply focus on Bitcoin over a long period of time and forget about diversification. But if you must diversify, then consider only the established altcoins.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Luke Dash Jr. to attempt a Hard Fork to save Bitcoin? on: September 29, 2025, 02:00:20 PM
I just laughed when I read that part that says "save Bitcoin" because that was all they claimed for the precious forks of Bitcoin yet they all turn out to be shitcoins. Luke is just looking for opportunity to cash out, simple. A hard fork of Bitcoin does not produce any solution, just another shitcoin.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26 on: September 29, 2025, 10:37:33 AM
.snip.
Barcelona victory moved Real Madrid down to second place in the table. Barca are top of the table with 19 points from seven matches having won six and drawn one.

Barcelona didn't waste the opportunity afforded by their rivals' defeat at the hands of Atletico. Barcelona played as usual and finished the match with three crucial points. Yamal and Lewa were key players in Barcelona victory today. Now, top spot is back in their hands, and they just need to maintain it for a long time. I just hope that before El Clasico, both teams play consistently without any surprises, because this will be a very interesting match, as the winner will take top spot in the standings.
I have never seen Atletico Madrid as strong as they were against Real Madrid, they played Real Madrid until they were confused and Atletico were pouring the goals as if it was basket ball. This is how unpredictable the Spanish La Liga can be.

Like you said, Barcelona did not spare any efforts at closing the gap between them and Real Madrid and that was the right  thing to do for a club that want to win the league. We should be expecting the retaliation of Real Madrid.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Blockchain-powered smartphones worth it? on: September 29, 2025, 08:29:53 AM
If they are truly blockchain powered, then they should have some form of advantage over other types especially in the area of privacy. I have not laid eyes on them, I only read about them which leaves me with little experience of what they can do. But I believe they should be worth it if we judge from the huge interest in them.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Less than 4% of the world owns bitcoin. on: September 28, 2025, 08:59:12 PM
I think it's considerably less than 4% if we only take into account bitcoin ownership through personal keys. Not through a bitcoin ETF or any other vehicle for exposure to bitcoin. I've looked at the tweet, but it doesn't clarify anything else. I suppose it's a statistic, which, like all statistics, has a margin of error, but this aspect is not clarified.
I usually have a hard time understanding how this type of data are gotten because there are many people who still store their Bitcoin in centralised exchanges. These Bitcoin will be regarded belonging to the exchange and they will not be added according to the number of people that own them. Of we add those Bitcoin ownership that are in CEX, ot will be obvious that more than 4% of the world's population have Bitcoin.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26 on: September 28, 2025, 06:57:56 PM
Yamal made
an impact on the game as soon as he came on. Barca needed him. Lewa and Pedri also played very well.
Matches between Barcelona and Real Sociedad have always been enjoyable. This one was no different, especially in the second half. The true owner of the top spot has taken over. Barcelona is the favorite for La Liga this season as well. Seeing the problems at Real Madrid, this year's title looks like it will be easier than last year's.
I agree with you that Barcelona is the favourite to win the league this season but Real Madrid is still a big threat to them. I'm strongly convinced that the league this year will be very hard to predict and Real Madrid and Barcelona will be alternating the top of the league position until towards the end of the season that the winner will become known.
