1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you spend your Bitcoin? on: November 02, 2021, 08:47:12 AM
I try not to tbh Cheesy. Just considering how much I'll regret having spent the bitcoin instead of just fiat, if the prices go up. I like to gamble for instance, and there are some options like https://time2play.com/casinos/bonuses/no-deposit/ to do that with bitcoin, but I just know it won't be worth it. In general I try to always apply the mantra: What would Mr Money Moustache say if I spent this? Cheesy https://www.mrmoneymustache.com/ That easily keeps me in general away from throwing crypto or fiat for that matter away on silly things

I find also with time the pleasure I get from owning more and more bitcoin easily outweights the "disadvantage" of not spending it. I look at the increasing number and I get a super happy feeling. And the feeling is lasting. Whenever I've spent some, the feeling is just fleeting. It's a bit like eating candy. Very nice in the moment - after a bit not so nice and the regrets come.

I just didn't believe in it, to be honest. I thought it was too early for the technology and didn't want to risk losing too much money. Boy was I proven wrong Cheesy
