The ONLY time as a long term investor and holder in NAV that I have seen Soopy missing in action was when he had to go to hospital after stressing out due to the double spend attack (which he solved very well I might add)

Even if this coin dropped to zero I would still be congratulating Soopy and the rest of the DEVS on a job well done in a difficult market place.

Yeah I noticed that someone on 0fee had 1.7 Gh running this morning. Shows that someone with either lots of grunt or deep pockets has faith in this coin - good to see

As I and many others have said previously in this thread - the aim of this coin and its "serious" investors is not to make a quick buck but to further improve the services available to patients etc!

In saying that I would imagine that there are a few people that are slightly disappointed that there has been obvious manipulation of the market as has become typical of the altcoin world. Yes of course it would have been nice to be sitting back now with the coin at 20-30k etc, but that is not the case. So the choice is either to suck it up or to sell. I for one am not the slightest bit concerned, even if I do loose $$ I am happy that I have tried to be a part of something worthwhile. I will be happy to watch the progress and be involved for a number of YEARS not HOURS.

I believe that Delta9 and the team have delivered what they promised today. Successful real world transactions, with some pics etc. Did you really expect CBS, CNN or whatever TV/Radio station to flock to this? I am sure there will be more "events" and at some stage in the future we will look back at this day and remember with fondness the fact the we were involved.

From my experience over the last 3-4 months I have found that the community in the CannabisCoin thread has been very good - open to discussion and yes are quite excited about watching this movement grow. I think that in the last week there has been an absolute bloody barrage of FUD and crap and retaliating to this in this thread - which has understandably pissed some of us off.

Did you really expect this coin to "go to the moon" today. Too good to be true generally means exactly that. 

I for one think that Delta9 has done well today - to actually have some live transactions for CannabisCoin pegged to 1 gram of Medicial Cannabis.

This is what this coin is all about NOT making a "quick buck" and getting out with some kind of profit. What 10%, 20% or so? Good luck to you, but PLEASE DO NOT come in here with FUD and saying this coin is dead or dying. Those of us that have been here for a long time are actually excited by the in-store activity rather that the price. I am sure that the team have bigger and better plans for the future and by judging them on what they have promised and actually delivered I believe that the future will be bright for this coin, the medical cannabis industry and the acceptance of these products on a global scale.

I know that the Medicinal Cannabis industry in Australia is still a "black market" economy, however there are poitical moves afoot to change this. Once this happens there will be opportunity for the kind of developments that CannabisCoin has pioneered to be shared and perhaps adopted by these "new" entrants to this ever growing market.

Very True - I quite enjoyed the constructive discussion in the old thread - especially over the last few months. But it was a bloody shame that as soon as the price started to move - the absolute pile of crap(FUD) and replying to FUD made it nearly impossible for those of us that wanted to have adult discussions.

Those of us that have been here since the early days have already established the validity of this coin and the dev team time and time again. We do not appreciate FUD. I am sure if you want to have an inteligent discussion on this forum and ask some serious questions that you would not be moderated.

Yeah that would be a good thing too - there has been quite a shift in policy recently over here and things are shaping up for Medicinal Cannabis to be legalised, I would say it could become an Issue at the upcoming state elections. Will keep you informed on any progress

If anyone out there can point me to another altcoin that is as logical, as well thought and supported like this coin is (D9 even looses sleep to answer our questions  ) and you can explain your reasons in a constructive and adult way I would like to know  - I don't think that even Satoshi considered the options that CannabisCoin can provide to a massively exploding (global) revolution. (IE the increase in acceptance of the medical benefits of Cannabis) - If he had in my opinion he would have stated this instead of Bitcoin :-)

Funnily as soon as there is some price activity the doomsayers and naysayers come flying around like vultures waiting for its prey to die.

Well I for one, an over 50's Aussie "gentleman" have invested in this coin for one reason and one reason only. For the improvement it could have on peoples lives by allowing easier and more affordable access to their cannabis.

If you are only looking at this coin to "pump & dump" feel free to go for it - those of us who have been watching the development of this coin have a much better understanding of its ultimate potential. I am not holding my reasonable amount of coins to make a quick profit, I will hold them until I feel that this entire logistical excersise of end to end supply has well established and running hot. If that means that this coin only gets to $1,$2,$3,$4,$5 etc etc so be it. There are some things more important in this life than making a quick buck

As a long time smoker who has always had to rely on the black market I am starting to breath a sigh of relief that there is in fact a possibility of a common sense approach to this product. The BS that we have been fed by the pharmacuical companies of the last 50-60 years has been nothing short of criminal. I just want to see Delta9 and his team succeed with this project as I am sure he will.

If you want to FUD the coin feel free, there are many of us holding this coin for the right reasons - not your bullshit ones.
