Its true even after New or fake DEV Updated staking problems continue taking to long to stake and the bottom of the wallet is still broken too. Also you can send money even if wallet unlocked only for staking.
23000 block's ? if cant fix just change the min stake 2 10 days or 15 and change the bottom green arrow and expected time to earn reward. Ill be feeding the offical cahin wallet i set up to see if i can get a daily flow of stakes to get the chain moving even faster. i recomend if you havent got eney stake just leave your wallet closeed for like 5 days gaiining weight then open let it sync and then unlock to stake it has worked for me and also after first stakes send those intrest to another wallet and start to feed it daily with the amont you have il me 1k daily to new wallet

It may sometime show other fork but it does not continue it stay on the right one and show it in sync. Pls remove connect=http://ctzchain.ultragames.cz for conf and any other thing. You will get your stakes youse my boot strap if you need to download the righ chain one bootstrap is install it will show as bootstrap.dat.old you can leave it in their and if you need to download chain again just erase all in the folder and just remae it by removing the .old part and you can reuse it . err ok - finally the wallet is synced up to date . and my coins have stopped staking but... now they have all vanished ! what a ride ! so... any news ?  Could you please provide more details? I noticed my Github was disabled for some reason, I will move source to server. |

I know that POS isn't working as expected, but I'm working on update and I should have it done in 2 or 3 days. Sorry I wasn't active, I was busy recording in my studio. |

This coins is not dead, don't worry!
As some of you might know, Citizencoin code is based on Badgercoin and that's why there are problems with staking. I tried changing code base to Libertycoin, it works little bit better, but I'm still not satisfied, I wan't flawlessly working coin.
Can you suggest working X11-POS coin, that I could use as base?

Wallet makes it to block 91712 and stops syncing.
observed the same crap, several points. dev, please what node gives 100% valid blocks ? You can use blockchain explorer node. That should be most reliable. addnode=ctzchain.ultragames.cz no luck, the same stops at 90712, 91212, 91712. i have to restart the wallet each time to move on. btw no stops if i use bootstrap.dat, but there's another problem, look in your git. and i did try to hide from other nodes: connect=ctzchain.ultragames.cz weird result. that node gives only 90800 blocks, stopping at 90712 as usual. no fork, no blocks past 90800 at all Do you have latest version of wallet? Problem must be at your side. |

Yea i dont think you have to worry about Placebo anymore. I constantly see Placebo make appearances on other threads (primarily cheap coins that havn't been pumped yet), hyping and waiting for a pump so he can dump and make a a quick profit. Just the same way he manipulated Roman, Yellow, the former CTZ and im sure a few others.
Don't we call that promotion? Everybody is doing this. Talking crazy about a coin when you own it, then sell your coins and move on. I'm sure when we check ALL people history that some people were posting comments on DOGE coin for example, how great it is, and cheap, and didn't post anything for months now. You don't need to be stupid to know that people are all using each other. In fact it is great to follow people like Placebo, just do what he is saying and you would have make big money. Now he is on VOOT and what happened with VOOT? He is talking about OTC too, so what do you think i will do?  Good point. It's a dirty game. However it's different if you try to hype up a price when you know you're true intention is dump immediately, rather than buying up and hyping at the same time. Like when he hyped up the citizen website that was to be completed in a few days, but all they did was buy a domain name and put citizencoin coming soon on the front page...price went up to 20 sats, he kept hyping that it was a matter of time till everything gets developed and the same day there was a massive dump to 7sats. And now I hold a bag of shit I bought for 15sats, and I have nobody to blame but myself. All I want to know is if CTZ is dead? Dev..you there? Yes, I'm here  |

I'm still waiting for a stake, just shy of 400k coins in wallet now for over 4 days, with no stake yet, with the latest client saying now over 136.5k weight.
Have you had your wallet closed for those 4 days? I'm no expert but I "think" your wallet needs to be closed or locked for the coins to gain age. nope they should stake even if the wallets left unlocked, locked or closed... I think the min stake age on ctz was 5 days wasn't it? lol dropped my last 5 mill down to 2 sats... enjoy  Ya that must be it. The coins have to be 5 days old to stake. I remember I didn't get any staked coins till my coins were older then that. No, minimal coin age required for stake is 1 day. unsigned int nStakeMinAge = 60 * 60 * 24 * 1; // minimum age for coin age: 1d You need to have wallet unlocked (or not encrypted) to generate stake. You don't need to have wallet closed, in fact having wallet open is better. |

Is version 1.0.1.0 the correct version of the wallet to be using?
Yes it is. Dev said he is working on new wallet that shows correct time till you get a stake. But staking does work just remember your coins have to be at least 5 days old (sat in your wallet with it closed or locked for 5 days) before you will start getting rewards. It doesn't have to be 5 days, 1 day is enough. But older the coins are, the bigger is chance to generate stake. staking weights shown in new wallet's tray don't change for hours while the wallet is running,
and only (and always) change if i relaunch the wallet.

Yes, I know about it. There will be wallet update this week which should fix it. |

im pretty sure you shouldnt be posting address in here.forum rules.could get the thread shut down and we dont wont this.good work to new dev .i have 7 mill of coins so i really would like for this coin to survive.also you wouldnt be interested in taking over rightcoin aswell.not sure if u would have the time but that dev just fuked everyone over aswell.wallet needs to be updated for PoS stage.bittrex still allowing people to trade it for some reason.
PoS is working. There will be update, but it's not necessary. Why shouldn't Bittrex allow trading? I believe he is talking about you taking over rightcoin and that it is not working for POS. Citizencoin is still trading(and way to cheep imo) on Bittrex. Oh, I misread, apparently it's time for bed No, I rather spend my time working on CTZ than finding bugs in broken Rightcoin. |
