Yeah, Bitcoin fees are no fun, but Ethereum has it worse especially for transferring tokens and using Uniswap (Uniswap low fee is around $70)..
Segwit lowered the bitcoin tx fee for at least 30%, but we need still to look into ways too improve the Bitcoin on-chain network..the Lighting network is a big improvement but still needs some time that I can use it anywhere.

I'm in big dilemma now, should I buy back now? Or go 50% in now and next 50% in if we touch $40k-$41k? Got $20k on hands now from selling on $55k-$56k (didn't sell all my stash to be clear).
Sold at 57.5k and panic bought back at 47k. I am still very happy about that. So no matter what level you buy, you be in huge profit. I think we are close to deeper pain stage. So the uptrend should not be far away. But guess we have to go sub or close to 40k before up. Yep, I agree. Will see if we the touch $40k levels, but it will be probably be not very long on the $40k levels as most bigger players are ready to buy up that. Got some orders now ready if it falls to $42.5k, $41k and $40.2k levels. |

Same here, sitting on 18k eur waiting to buy soonish. Just bought 0.22BTC (50% of 20k$) on . If it goes down do $40k levels buying it again. I'm anyways in for the long game, but it is a good thing trying to rise my total BTC stash using this correction time of the price. Will see how it plays out. Tomorrow should new deposits of $$$ hit the exchanges? |

What is your internet download speed?
It's been a few years since I had played with downloading the full BTC blockchain in Bitcoin core wallet. But, I remember that amount of RAM also played a important part. Because the Core wallet doesn't only download the blockchain BUT it also VERIFIES IT IN THE SAME TIME.
Try to search in the forum for the instructions how to allow the Core wallet to use more RAM. Doing it on the SSD disk would also be a good idea.
