I just downloaded the new wallet (1.2) an hour ago. It keeps getting stuck on blocks. I deleted blk001, blkindex and even peers and it still gets stuck. Any help?
Delete everything except wallet.dat in the appdata folder and then try again  Unfortunately that didn't work. I've only had 1 other stuck wallet before and I was able to get it to work by deleting those files. This one is not fixing itself. Very strange. Maybe I'll download the wallet again. maybe you just need to create korecoin.conf - create new text document within folder C:\Users\(your own computer username)\AppData\Roaming\Korecoin - copy and paste code below server=1

No you don't need 1.0 first, a fresh install of v1.2 and the KoreCoin.conf on the main post is sufficient enough. Please try leaving the wallet open for 30mins or so as it may sync slowly at the start. Otherwise try restart your computer/wallet. If that all fails please pm us and we shall try and help. Looks like the price of KORE is slowly correcting itself everyone remember we are developing this out of our own pockets now so have put up donation addresses for anyone that wishes to help fund us too. It is not necessary or mandatory to as we will continue to develop KORE with or without donations! |

Dont mean to be a debbie downer, but I hope this isnt another CRYPT story. That white paper looks awfully like CRYPTs white paper, with barely anything. Dev I understand you want to keep it vague so nobody steals your ideas until it is functional and implemented, but that is exactly what the Crypt devs said after releasing their paper. Why not release the full whitepaper the same day or maybe a day before the release of the anon wallet? Why release a whitepaper with barely any information a week prior the release..what does that accomplish? Btw im not fudding, I hold some Kore and I would like to buy more (since it does look promising) after these concerns are addressed. Thanks dev
Hi cryptoholic11, Firstly thank-you for your input, the reason we released a whitepaper (more of a sneak preview of full document) was to prove to the community we are trying to move forward and make things right after the forking happened. We compensated as many of the miners we possibly could, and wanted to show that things were still moving along. The full documentation will be available before the TOR/Anonymous system goes live (June 27th) but will be a lot closer to the time for said reasons. thanks dev for update, some people doubting whether dev is legit, well read the thread people, pre-mine has been used to compensate miners plus some from his personal fund. so people calling this scam can move on. future developments will be funded by donations and dev own fund. 27th june anon function will be released, whether we have tor earlier or on the same date i do not know. burn has 2.2million and is sitting at 32k sats and his anon is 4 weeks, so as each day goes by dev presence is a boost of conifdence, we should be sitting near 50k or higher, and on the release date we could easily match or beat RZR.

Compiled my wallet on Mac, can't get past 4001 blocks. Put conf file in KoreCoin folder but still won't work. Any suggestions?
Please try delete old block chain (keep wallet.dat) and re open, or restart computer and try open wallet again? If there are any other issues please let us know! |

Hi everyone,
We are still working hard on compensation but are nearly done. We have now dedicated the rest of the pre mine to the compensation of miners. We understand not everyone received a full compensation as the pre mine was not nearly enough as there was orphaned blocks but have averaged it out between you all.
So yes the Premine is now gone, apart from the Kore saved for compensation. That means all development is bow coming out of our own pockets. We have made this decision as we think it is the right thing to do to make Kore what it really can be!
We are going to be releasing our roadmap/whitepaper/time line 24 hours from now so please keepisode posted for that!
Seeing as we have had many pms about donating to us for development we will put up addresses for donation if you so wish to.
Please note this not mandatory nor nesccesary, it is only for the people who have asked if they can donate.
So for the mean time please relax and wait for our update as we want to get this truly right this time for you all. And I'd you are still awaiting compensation you should receive your Kore/PM shortly!
